Tina breathed a sigh of relief and immediately sent over the address.
She thought Brandon might kick up a fuss when he found out that Ello was after Astrid. Ello and the hot–tempered Brandon might end up at each other’s throats. Last year, a rich man tried to hit on Astrid even though he had a girlfriend, and Brandon beat him so badly he spent a month in the hospital.
Brandon didn’t care who the man was, if he tried to take his sister, he’d go ballistic, no questions asked.
Thinking of all Astrid’s over–zealous suitors, Tina thought Elio was in for a rough ride.
Carson had been pulled away by Paula for a long chat. When he returned to the lounge, he saw Elio looking at the dressing room door and smiling. Smiling? His boss can smile?
Carson thought he was seeing things, so he rubbed his eyes, only to find that his boss was indeed smiling!
If he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed his boss had such a soft side.

Feeling Elio’s icy stare, Carson felt a sudden chill. Indeed, his boss’s gentleness was reserved for Astrid alone.

Just then, he received a message from the head of Starlight Entertainment, and suddenly it clicked. His boss had given him a bonus because he’d referred to Astrid as his wife.
From now on, he decided, he would stick close to Astrid. With her on his side, making big bucks would be a piece of cake!
Elio had a board meeting in the afternoon. After waiting for Astrid for a while without any sign of her, he left first.
An hour later, Todd arranged for cars to take the actors to the press conference. Astrid, Joana, and her agent Emily rode together.
