Chapter 151: Your father was quite the loyal one.

''Why? You went behind my back and investigated about your family. Did you think I wouldn't find out? Remember this, Alice. You were the one who betrayed me first'' Mimi Garcia said.

''How did I betray you? I simply wanted to know about my family which you kept hidden from me. Are you even sure the accident back then wasn't your doing?'' Alice retorted back.

''Alice, watch your mouth. How dare you say that about Miss? Back then, if it wasn't for our Miss, do you think you would have still been alive today? Why are you such an ungrateful person?'' Gastus said.

By now Mimi's men had surrounded the two girls leaving them in the middle. Mai and Alice stood side by side with their backs facing each other. They didn't have any weapon besides the knife that was in Mai's hands while the men had all sort of arms' fully loaded guns ready to shoot at a command.

''You are right. I caused the accident back then. But, that was because your father refused my offer to join my research team back then. Whoa. I can't believe he is so loyal. I thought that after he lost his wife and daughter he would come running to me but no. He stubbornly refused and went on to even set up his own hospital. It was exactly three years ago when I noticed August Maijune was receiving treatment at his place. When I sent my men to him I found out he already knew who you were Mai yet he didn't do anything. My guess was he wanted to hypnotise you and find out the truth but it wasn't successful because you stopped going there.

How can there be so many coincidences in this world? The one whose body and rare blood that I needed was actually closer to me than I thought. Mai. Do you think you have won just because you got Alice on your side now? Stop deluding yourself. At my command, you two could be dead any moment from now. But, I must applaud you for your smartness'' Mimi Garcia said and chuckled.

''Where is Aaron Saint? I thought he would be the first to come here but he left you to come alone? Looks like you are not that important to him after all. He merely used you to free his brother''

''Stop being delusional, Mimi. The one who is about to go down right now is you and your entire team. You are already a sinking ship'' As Mai spoke she saw the image of a man at the corner of the building where the electricity main switch was located. That man was her brother, Carlos Ryan. Being in the Black Fox Society, he was someone with great expertise and intelligence.

Even though Carlos Ryan didn't find anything worth in the laboratory, he still set it on fire before he went to the main switch of the building and when Mai looked up, he gave her a signal. She had been stalling for time by getting on Mimi's nerves. Mimi Garcia was someone who always wanted to get the last say in everything hence seeing that Mai and Alice were surrounded by her men she felt satisfied and was smug. She didn't care at this point about herself.

''In a short while the lights will go off. Make sure you stay alive Julieta''. Mai whispered to Alice.

Mimi Garcia saw their little exchange and became enraged with anger.

''Kill that one and bring that one to me right now. We don't have much time left'. Mimi Garcia said and turned to go. Unbeknownst to her, the outside where her private jet was had been surrounded by some soldiers and her men were all dead now. Aaron Saint stood tall and mighty among the soldiers in front of the entrance waiting for Mimi Garcia.

Mimi Garcia turned with Gastus and turned to go when the lights suddenly went off.

''What happened? Why did the lights go off?'' Mimi Garcia asked and they heard gunshots.

Mimi Garcia and her men were confused for a while before Gastus held Mimi Garcia protecting her as they ran out.

Having been trained under more dangerous environments. Mai and Alice's night vision were very good hence in just that moment of the lights going off, they had spotted the men with the guns and started fighting them.

Leo Martins and his men also joined in and attacked the men while Carlos Ryan ran after Mimi Garcia and Gastus.

Within just a short amount of time, all the men that Mimi Garcia left behind were on the ground dead.

Gastus successfully sent Mimi Garcia out of the building to where their jet was located but as soon as they got there they got shocked as they saw Aaron and soldiers and a group of men wearing the military uniform. They were busted.

Mimi Garcia chuckled sarcastically and turned to run but stopped because Carlos Ryan who pointed a gun at her. Soon, Mai, Alice, Leo and a group of soldiers ran out and stood next to Carlos Ryan. there was no place to run to and Mimi Garcia cussed.

''Mimi, just give up already. There is nothing you can do now''. Aaron Saint said.

Mimi Garcia turned to face him and saw that Gastus had been arrested already. She gave a chilling laugh before speaking.

''You think this is over? No, Aaron Saint. We are all going to die in this building. The bomb will blow off in just a matter of time''.

''Oh, you mean this? Oops''. Alice said lifting the dismantled bomb in her hands up.

''This is not the end. Do you think I will allow myself to be arrested by you? That would be a joke on myself. The person who can kill or arrest me hasn't been born yet''. Mimi Garcia said and looked at Carlos Ryan adding ''you finally found your lost sister? How did you find me, leader Ice? Did my brother snitch on me?''

''Yes, he did and thanks to that I was able to find you. You are going back with me to Blue Town. We will finish our business there'' Carlos Ryan said and Mimi Garcia chuckled dryly.

''Did you think it would be that easy to capture me? I am not going down alone. I will not allow myself to be brought in front of the Black Fox Society after escaping''

''Give it up already, Mimi Garcia? Your bad deeds have caught up with you. You even hid the fact that I had a family away from Alice just because you planned to use her against me. at the end, you can only have yourself to plan for whatever that is going to happen to you'' Mai told her.

''Just for your information, AI Alice is now in our hands. We intend to hand it over to the DNIS so that they can destroy it'' Aaron Saint said and Mimi Garcia's face turned ashen.

''How dare you? AI Alice is my creation. My work. Do you know how much time I have spent modifying her? I won't forgive you for this'' Mimi Garcia said and removed a gun from her pocket aiming it at Mai. Her actions were swift and no one had time to react. Before they realised. She had pointed the gun at Mai and pulled the latter to the middle.

''I am not going down alone. If any of you move even a step, I will kill August Maijune. She is the most important person that you all are protecting. I will kill the thing that is most precious to you'' as she said that Mimi Garcia pointed the gun at Mai's head.

''Mimi Garcia, I hate to be threatened or used as a bargaining chip. It will be in your favour to let me go first'' Mai said coldly.

The head of DNIS walked forward and showed a paper to Mimi Garcia saying ''you are under arrest Mimi Garcia. Threatening a civilian with a gun won't help you right now. You know why? Because that gun has no bullets''. The man said with a stoned face.

''Liar. You are just saying that because if I kill August Maijune, your mission will become useless'' Mimi said and pushed Mai aside and she stumbled forward. Aaron Saint rushed forward and held her.

'I will kill myself then. Let's see how you will pursue this case when I am dead'' Mimi Garcia said

''Go ahead then''. The man said.

Mimi pressed the gun and nothing came out. She looked at the gun and stumbled backwards saying ''how is this possible? It was fully loaded this morning''

''I removed the bullets this morning because I thought you might try to use it on me after I become useless to you. That is what you are good at'' Alice said.

''You…after all I have done for you?'' Mimi Garcia angrily charged forward at Alice but the military men were fasted and captured her. They arrested and placed handcuffs on her hands. Mimi glared at everyone saying ''this isn't over August Maijune. And you, Aaron Saint. This isn't over''. The Military men took Mimi away while they watched.

''August Maijune, are you alright?'' Carlos Ryan asked worriedly and hugged Mai.

''I'm fine, elder brother'' Mai said and smiled.josei

''Let's go guys. I need to get home to my wife''. Leo Martins said making them laugh.

''Aaron, I want her to come with us. She had nowhere to go for now''. Mai said to Aaron Saint

''Sure, she can come with us'' Aaron Saint lifted Mai up and Alice followed them as they walked towards their cars.
