''Today, our chefs did a marvellous job. As you can see, our children cannot wait to eat the food, so before we all get to taste their wonderful job, I would like to announce the winners of today's competition. When Jayden told me about this friendly competition, I was quite surprise but happy at the same time because this is something that hasn't happened before in the history of Saint Hotels. I am very proud of what our chefs can do. I want them to know that they are all talented and this should be viewed as a productive contest instead of a rival contest to determine the best. The winners of today's contest are also going to be the head chefs of their sections and will lead the other chefs to take the food and beverage department of Saint Hotel to greater heights, thank you''

Aaron Saint finished his speech and took the results sheet from the MC to announce the winners. He opened it and smiled before looking up to everyone.

''The winners for today's contest are Chef Hugh and Pastry Chef Everest France'' he said and looked at Ever proudly. Ever's eyes teared up as she turned and hugged Mr. Hugh.

The audience clapped their hands and the food was now served to every child in the hall.

As they jubilation was going on, Benita looked towards Ann and the latter nodded her head as they both stared at Ever. She grabbed her phone from the side and went out of the hall through the backdoor.

Ever and Mr. Hugh walked to the stage and were congratulated by the dignitaries. Each other them were handed keys to the two cars and two houses.

''Ever'' Julieta called as she walked to her daughter, 'Mom is so proud of you''

''Mom'' Ever hugged her mother and the who family joined in congratulating her.

''We should celebrate this tonight'' August Maijune said.

''I still have to clear up my table first''

''We are here for that'' Amber said, pulling Channing and Jade along to help with Ever's table.

''Ever, I brought you a present. Go and change into it and let's go and celebrate afterwards'' Liyah said and gave the bag in her hands to Ever.

''Aunt Liyah, thank you so much. I will go and change into this quickly and return'' Ever took the bag and ran off.

Brave was busy eating the food Emma brought him when his system processed a message that been sent from Benita's phone to an unknown number. He frowned and placed the plate on the table and read the message.

''Make sure you get the reporters there on time, Jayden is heading towards Ever's direction'

''What are these people planning to do when the police are already on the way?'' Brave murmured. He was the one who called the police per Ever's direction. They didn't want the reputation of the hotel to be ruined, so they intended to just show the chats and the video to them privately and let them be taken for investigation by the police.

Brave took his phone to call Ever and saw her phone on the table.

''faex'' he cussed in Latin and rushed out.

Ever got out of the elevator and saw Jayden in front of her. He smiled at him as he stretched forth his hand that held a bouquet of pink rose flowers towards her.

''Congratulations, Ever'' he said, pulling her into a hug.

''Jayden…'' her body stiffened under his embrace as he held her tighter, refusing to let go.

''Thank you, we should go to my office, there are cameras here and anyone can see us. I don't want to spark another rumour after winning the contest''

He let go after hearing her and stepped aside, ''sorry, I didn't startle you, right?''

''No'' she shook her head as she took the flowers from him, ''are these for me?''

''Yes''

''Sis, big cousin, you two need to hide right now'' Brave said running to them but he was a little too late as the elevator also stopped and reporters came out of it and started taking them pictures. The flashing of the cameras made Ever's eyes squint.

''Mr. Saint, do you have a relationship with Miss Ever? Is that the reason why she won today's contest?''

''Mr. Saint, we received a tip that you and Miss Ever used to be in a relationship. Is that true?''

Jayden pulled Ever into his embrace and turned to the reporters with a cold and hardened expression which immediately made them step a back.

''If you want to keep your jobs, then I suggest you delete all those pictures you just took and stop with the questioning. My relationship with Ever is my and her business and she won the contest because she deserved it.

Brave heaved a sigh of relief as he watched Jayden protect Ever, but when he looked straight ahead, he saw Ann standing at a distance with a sinister look. He took out his phone that was connected to his laptop and turned to the reporters.

''Reporters, since you are here, I might as well give you a scoop'' he said and everyone turned to look at him. ''The woman over there is the one who gave you the tip, right?'' he pointed at Ann and her face turned ashen.

''Yes, she was the one who personally contact me'' one of the reporters said and Ever looked at Ann. She really felt her straggling her to death. She turned to Brave saying.

''Leave the rest to me, Brave. Let me handle this on my own''

At this point, a lot of people have gathered in the hallway due to the chaos from the reporters. The three big families rushed to the hallway after Brave sent them a message of what was going on. Now, with everyone around, Ann who stood at a distance had nowhere to go.

''Ever, Jay, what is happening here?'' Julieta asked worriedly.

''Mom, this ingrate over there has been messing with me for a long time but I've had enough of her and her tricks'' Ever said and pointed at Ann.

''Ann? Is she not the friend you asked Saint foundation to support before?'' August Maijune asked.

''Yes, aunt Mai, but that was also the biggest mistake I made in my entire life. Letting the foundation support a snake like her. Brave, send the chats and videos into everyone's phones.

''Jade, no, is alright'' Ever tried to stop her.

''No, is not. I've had a feeling for long something now that she is the reason why you broke up with my brother. Am I right?''

''You are right and I don't regret coming between them. At least I was able to keep them apart for two years'' Ann said proudly as she walked towards them. She had already lost, so what if she told them the obvious truth.

''Ever, is that true?'' Jayden turned to face Ever and she nodded her head.

''When I came to New York on the night of the auctioning, I contacted her first because I wanted to give you a surprise. She told me your room number and asked me to wait for you there. I waited for a long time but you were coming, so I decided to call your phone. That was when she answered it and then I heard moaning and sexual sounds. Later on, she sent me nude pictures of yourself with her. I lost all sense of reasoning and took the first flight back to D-City. The next day I broke up with you''

''What? Ever, you could have confronted me about it. I would never cheat on you with her?''

''I know, but I found out too late and didn't know how to make things right again. I just felt that I didn't deserve you because I could never get past that moment''

''She never trusted you, even when we were in school and you gave her all your attention. She was always insecure about herself and the feelings you had for her'' Ann said making the people around to gasp. She had no shame at all being the third party.

''You are right, that's why I am going to do what I should have done to you that night'' walking up to her, Ever gave her a hard hit across her face.

''You slapped me?'' she asked and was hit on the other cheek again.

''That was for messing with me'' Ever kicked her leg and she fell on her knees, ''and this is for what you tried to do to me today''

''Let's go. We still have to celebrate Ever's winning'' Amber said.

''Let's go babe'' Julieta held her daughter's hand and they went away leaving the police and security of the hotel to deal with the situation.
