Vicky was about to say something when she received another call. She glanced at her screen and said, “Cece, I need to do something. Let’s end the call here. Avoid going outside in the next few days and
forget about the studio. I’ll handle it once I get home.”
Once she ended the call with Cece, she answered the other call.
She remained silent, and Tyler did not speak as well.
After a few moments, he said, “Have you realized how you’re wrong now, Vicky?”
“No,” she said emotionlessly as she closed the curtains, went to the living room, and turned on the television.
“Vicky Shaw,” he gritted out coldly. “Had you left with Harry this morning, you wouldn’t be forced to lock yourself in your room.’
As she turned on the television, she saw the video of her being thrown with raw eggs and how she was ambushed in the airport before being escorted away by the security guards.
She looked incredibly pathetic, and as she studied the video, she said, “Are you going to say that if I agree to apologize, my studio wouldn’t have been destroyed and Cece wouldn’t get injured as well? That Cece wouldn’t be confined to her own apartment as well?”
He paused for a while and said, “You think that…I sent people to destroy your studio?”
“Did you not?” She chuckled. “As hard as the fans might try, they can’t possibly find out where my studio is located that quickly. Who else could be so efficient in destroying my studio? Didn’t you get Harry to give me your message, saying that I’ll come to regret not coming?”
Her studio was destroyed shortly after Harry left, and she could not think of anyone else capable of such a thing.
“Tyler, if you really can’t stand seeing Sheila hurt, why won’t you divorce me?” she continued.
“Vicky Shaw, I don’t want to hear that word again.”
She chuckled. “I can apologize to Sheila right now until you two are satisfied with it if you agree to divorce me. How about that?” “Vicky Shaw!” Tyler roared.
