Chapter 794

Since Gloria was under Tyler’s protection, the doctor dared not to sedate Gloria as he did with other patients.

Three doctors had gone to see Gloria in a row, but since Gloria had refused to cooperate no matter what, even the doctors were at their wit’s end.

Selene, who had been staying by Gloria’s side, was also tired of Gloria’s madness and ran away.

Fearing for Gloria’s health and safety, the doctor was left with the only option to call Tyler.

Tyler fell into silence for a long while, to the point that the doctor thought Tyler had ended the call.

The doctor glanced at the phone and noticed that the call was still connected, and just as he was about to ask the question again, Tyler finally responded.

“Alright,” he said.

“Mister Hart, does that mean you are—”

“I’ll be right over.”

The doctor sighed a breath of relief.

After the call, Tyler turned to look at Vicky who laid in bed with her eyes closed.

He studied her for a few moments and said, “Vicky, I need to go out for a while.”

Exhausted, Vicky kept her eyes closed and muttered, “Remember to turn off the lights on your way out.”

“Sure.”

Soon, she felt the other side of the bed lifting as Tyler got out of bed to get dressed.

A few minutes later, Tyler came back and said, “Vicky, I’m leaving.”

“Sure,” she mumbled as though she was about to drift off to sleep.

Tyler lowered his head to kiss her on the forehead and turned off the lights on his way out of the room.

As soon as the door was shut, Vicky’s eyes opened abruptly.

In the hospital, Tyler heard the sound of something shattering as soon as he reached the outside of the door.

Baam!

He then heard the doctor attempting to calm Gloria.

“Miss Shaw, you need to eat something. You’ll collapse if you refuse to eat anything.”

“I’m just missing a meal or two. It’s not like I’m going to die because of that,” Gloria said coldly. “Have I lost the right to refuse eating now?”

“Miss Shaw, it’s bad for your health…”

“It’s my health and my body. Even if something goes wrong, it’s none of your business.”

“But, Mister Hart said—”

Gloria sneered at the mention of Tyler’s name. “He is no one to me, so what rights does he have to make the decisions about my life?”

The doctor was at a loss for words.

Just then, the door was pushed open, and Tyler strode in. He glanced at the shattered glass on the floor and asked, “What’s going on?”

The doctor was relieved to see Tyler and said, “Mister Hart, Miss Shaw won’t eat her food or cooperate with treatment.”

“Clean the floor and bring food in again,” Tyler said.

“Sure thing. I’ll get right at it.” The doctor and nurses immediately cleaned the floor and darted out of the room.

10 minutes later, another set of dinner was sent in again, but Gloria threw the tray on the ground as soon as the tray touched the table.

The food had gone to waste more times than the doctor could count, and the doctor could not help but shoot a look at Gloria, thinking, ‘This lady looks gentle, when really, she has a horrible temper.’
