Chapter 797

Nonetheless, Vicky was not surprised that Selene did such a thing.

Harvey looked at Vicky. “It’s late, Vicky. Why are you here?”

Vicky fell into silence for a few moments before saying, “I’m here to see Gloria as well.”

Harvey instantly came to realize what happened. “Is Tyler here as well?”

Vicky’s expression darkened, and she nodded.

“Are you leaving with him, or…?” he asked.

Vicky forced a smile. “He’s probably not going to leave, so I’m going home on my own.”

She knew there was no telling if he would return home.

Harvey did not comment on it and simply suggested, “Since Tyler is with Gloria, I won’t go up. Let me send you home.”

Vicky was tired from traveling to the hospital in the middle of the night, so she did not refuse his offer. “Thank you.”

After getting into the car, Vicky leaned back and closed her eyes.

She did not say anything, but anyone could tell that she was exhausted and depressed.

“Don’t worry about Alex.” Harvey assumed that she was worried about Alex and said, “Even if Tyler caught him, he won’t hurt Alex for now.”

He was certain that Alex would not be harmed because Tyler still needed Alex to cause trouble for Vicky when it was necessary.

“I know.” Vicky could tell that Tyler did not want to kill Alex despite his disgust for Alex.

Harvey glanced at the gloomy look on her face and asked, “Vicky, what happened?”

‘What happened?’ she thought. ‘It feels like something has happened, but I’m not sure.’

Vicky was at a loss for words, so she turned to look at Harvey. “Do you know why Tyler married me?”

He lifted an eyebrow. “Why are you asking that all of a sudden?”

He did not know much about the relationship between Vicky and Tyler, and Gloria—who knew more than most people—had not been willing to share.

Vicky looked outside the window and said, “Gloria said that Tyler married me with an agenda in mind.”

Harvey frowned at the mention of Gloria’s name. “Vicky, Gloria isn’t in the best state right now, so some of the things she says…should be taken with a grain of salt.”

“But Tyler didn’t deny it either.”

Tyler had not denied the accusation and even sent Vicky out of the room, which made it seem like he was guilty.

“Vicky, I don’t know what happened between you and Tyler before, and I don’t have the right to make any comment, but from what I’ve found so far, if he has an ulterior motive, it’s you. As for Gloria…” He paused. “If Tyler wants her, he would’ve dated her a few years ago.”

“You don’t know that for sure,” Vicky said. “The grass is always greener on the other side. Gloria was the woman Tyler was initially looking for back then, so she has a special place in his heart. He treats her differently.”

Sheila would have never dared to ask Tyler to divorce Vicky.

Harvey’s expression darkened as he contemplated whether he should tell Vicky the truth.

Meanwhile, Vicky spoke again.
