Chapter 116 Magic And Conspiracy

?

The tide of the battle had begun to shift in favor of Denise and Larry's team. Despite the creature's formidable resilience, the relentless onslaught of firepower directed towards it was taking its toll. Each blast and strike inflicted visible damage, chipping away at its defenses and weakening its hard scales.

"The crystals on its body are dimming! It's getting exhausted!" Larry's voice boomed over the chaotic battlefield. Determined, he urged his comrades to press on with their relentless assault.

The sight of the creature's weakening defenses only fueled their determination to finish the battle as they continue to bombarded it with their spells.

Larry in particular flew higher to cast a very powerful magic . He closed his eyes, channeling his magic through his wands. Murmuring a magic incantation that made his wands vibrates from fusing it with too much energy.

"Increeos Solis," he yelled, and unleashed a blinding surge of brilliant white light.

-Zzzzzzz

The concentrated beam of energy shot forth from his wands, slicing through the air and into the creature's scales with incredible force. The impact was like a laser cutting through steel, leaving a visible trail of destruction in its wake.

"Wheeeeeeesh!" The creature's agonized wail reverberated through the battlefield, a symphony of pain that echoed across the water. Its primal scream pierced the air, carrying with it the weight of suffering .

Desperate to escape, it lunged toward the safety of the deep ocean. However, Larry, was not dumb to let his efforts go to waste, he swiftly signaled the other wizards to surrounded it and cast a powerful group spell .

"Mediolanum Chainer!"

"Mediolanum Chainer!"

"Mediolanum Chainer!"

"Mediolanum Chainer!"

They chanted in perfect unison, their voices resonating with magical power as their wands release a blue light that conjured a magic circle in the surface of the ocean.

As if responding to their call, the water itself began to transform, coalescing into a colossal chain-like structure that ensnared the creature in its icy grip. The chains constricted tighter and tighter, freezing the creature's movements and rendering it immobilized.

It was a breathtaking spectacle, a display of awe-inspiring magic. Even Denise couldn't help but marvel at the sheer might and skill of the wizards' collective spellcasting. Ministry of Magica had long been renowned for its mastery of the arcane arts, and now she understood why.

Deep down, she begrudgingly acknowledged that they possessed the capability to vanquish the creature on their own. Their mastery of magic was undeniably formidable, a force to be reckoned with.

"I must admit...," Denise muttered to herself, her voice laced with a mix of acknowledgement and annoyance. "These wizards truly are a formidable bunch."

While it stung her pride to admit it, She recognized that striking a deal with them had been a good move on her part. By aligning herself with them, she would not only be able to conserve her own power but also gain their favor. It was a calculated victory, a strategic maneuver that would undoubtedly pay off after this battle was over.

With a renewed sense of purpose, she focused her attention on the next phase of their plan. The creature may be temporarily restrained, but she knew their battle was far from over. There were still other organizations lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike and stab them in the back.

"I think we should retreat , Sister Angelie "

A knowing smile curved Angelie's lips as she listened to her assistant's hesitant suggestion. The air was thick with uncertainty, each member of their group thinking about the weight of their leader's decisions. However, Angelie exuded an air of unwavering confidence, as if she held a secret card up her sleeve.

"Sister Angelie ...." They began to convinced her.

But her eyes simply met the anxious gazes of her companions, and her smile only widened. It was a smile that held a hint of mystery, a touch of cunningness. They couldn't fathom the depths of her foresight, the intricate web of plans she had woven in her mind must be quite solid for her to act like this.

"Retreat?" Angelie repeated, her voice laced with a calm demeanor. "Don't panic , it is not yet time for us to withdraw. I have my ways, rest assured."

Her words hung in the air, weaving a confident image for her subordinates. They exchanged glances, their doubts and concerns momentarily forgotten in the face of her enigmatic assurance. It was clear that she has something to backed up her words.

"We will follow you , Sister Angelie " Everyone bowed thei head in Unison.

As the battle neared its climactic end, Larry's hands clutched the sealing artifact tightly, his eyes fixed on its radiant golden surface. The artifact, a captivating and elegant golden bottle, seemed to emit a mesmerizing glow, illuminating the darkened sky with a brilliance akin to the sun.

Larry closed his eyes and began to activate it .

"Vocem meam audi, Custos lucis, inimicum Vince et signa virtute." He muttered an ancient incantations , and the golden bottle started to vibrate as if something powerful was waiting to be unleased.

The air crackled with anticipation as Larry raised the artifact high, its luminosity casting ethereal shadows across the battlefield. A collective gasp escaped the lips of onlookers as the golden light expanded, enveloping the area in a halo of resplendence. It was a sight to behold, a manifestation of ancient magic at its full potential

Then suddenly ,a low, buzzing hum reverberated through the air, resonating with the beating hearts of those present. The light from the artifact coalesced and transformed, weaving itself into a radiant net of dazzling strands. It danced and shimmered, as if alive with its own purpose, until it wrapped itself around the mutated beast.

It tried to break the golden net but it was a useless attempt.

As the luminous net continued to ensnare it, a remarkable transformation began to unfold. The golden strands of light, imbued with ancient magic, shimmered brighter with an otherworldly glow. Gradually, the net began to tighten, its ethereal embrace constricting around the creature's form.

Whispers of enchantments filled the air, faint echoes of ancient incantations guiding the sealing process. Like a mystical vortex, the golden bottle seemed to come alive, drawing the creature closer with an irresistible force. Its struggles grew feeble, its once fearsome frame diminishing in size as it was slowly absorbed into the bottle.

A surreal dance of light and shadow played out before their eyes, as if the very fabric of reality itself had been woven into this mesmerizing spectacle. The creature, now reduced in size, writhed within the confines of the shrinking net, its essence gradually being drawn into the depths of the golden bottle.

With each passing moment, the creature's vitality waned, until finally, it succumbed to the pull of the artifact. The bottle, now fully infused with the creature's essence, shimmered with an inner radiance. Its once tumultuous presence reduced to a mere flicker, contained within the confines of the ancient vessel.

Silence descended upon the battlefield, broken only by the soft clinking of the golden bottle as it hover in the air. Amidst the wreckage, death and chaos, an ethereal calm washed over the scene.
