Chapter 258 Strongest Wife
Chapter 258 Strongest Wife
?
Snuggled together under the blanket, their naked bodies creating a cocoon of intimacy,
"So, what's our next move? " he asked.
Elizabeth shifted, feeling his touch on her skin, and met his gaze.
"I think taking on Fate directly might not be the best idea for now," she said gently. She wasn't doubting him, just being realistic about the challenge ahead.
He took a moment to absorb her words. He had believed he'd become powerful enough to at least have a chance, but now, Elizabeth's perspective was making him question that assumption.
"So, how tough is Fate, really? I've heard information that even the peak gods in the ancient time couldn't bring it down."
"It's not about their power that was lacking," she explained.
"Fate is an intangible system, a world order. You can't just go fists blazing to take it down."
His brow furrowed with intrigue.
"Then what's the plan?"
Snuggling into his warmth, Elizabeth responded, her eyes holding the revelations. Her words were the result of her extensive exploration of forbidden and ancient arts—an accumulation of insights into Fate and its very essence.
"Fate isn't always invincible. You've remembered about the concept of the Reset, right?"
"Yup, I got that information after I got the memories back," he responded.
"Actually, I implanted that idea into your mind. You know, the Reset is our opportunity to taking down Fate."
"Alright, I'm listening." He nodded.
Elizabeth's gaze held a deep insight as she continued,
"During the Reset, Fate manifests itself in a powerful entity, sort of like its avatar. This being is killable, but it won't affect Fate that much. It's more like a representation."
"So, what's the point of killing it?" Vincent's puzzled expression deepened.
"Others might find it a futile pursuit, but you're an exception," she declared
His brow creased in confusion, prompting her to continue.
"Eliminating Fate's avatar during the Reset won't directly obliterate Fate itself, but it will weaken its grip on reality. Fate's control over the world will waver. And that's where your uniqueness comes into play."
He drew nearer, their eyes locking in a powerful exchange. "How so?"
"Because you're not bound by Fate's threads like the rest of us," she explained, a glimmer of hope and pride in her eyes.
"You possess the potential to reshape reality during its weakened state after the avatar die. That's when you can finally enter the heart of the system and challenge the very essence of Fate."
Vincent found himself at a loss for words. Elizabeth had clearly delved deeply into this plan.
"When will the reset start?" he inquired, eager to understand the timing of this important event.
"After you leave your domain," Elizabeth disclosed, her voice carrying a sense of certainty.
"That soon ?" he asked.
Elizabeth took a brief pause, her mind working to find the right words to communicate and clarify things with him.
"The medallion was never intended to remain inside you. It served as a temporary vessel for both our souls and memories, shielding them from Fate's detection. That's why you were limited in using only a fraction of your powers outside."
"But now that you've parted with the medallion, your full power can be unleashed. However, there's a consequence. The world will react, causing significant disturbances."
"So, I can't leave the domain?"
"Unfortunately, not until you gain even greater strength." She replied with a sad tone.
"Staying here isn't an issue for me. I can train, grow stronger. But what about the chaos outside? The Vatican is already in motion, and Evangeline and the others are at risk."
"I have a plan. How about you listen to what I have in mind?" she suggested

At the entrance of the cave, Yuki and Geju stood patiently, waiting for Vincent to exit the place.
"Looks like he's coming out," Geju remarked, his heightened senses allowing him to detect Vincent's approach.
As Vincent got closer to them, radiating an air of nonchalance, Geju's perceptions were shattered by an unexpected revelation.
"This is strange. I can't sense his power," he muttered to himself, his confusion visible on his face.
In this scenario, Vincent had only two possible ways to cloak his power from him: either he had somehow exceeded his strength—an achievement that would be quite remarkable—or he was wielding a powerful artifact.
The latter option posed even more challenge, given Geju's status as a Mid-God. An artifact capable of deceiving someone of his stature would need to be of legendary proportions. Legendary Artifacts are very rare even in the underworld.
"Now that you've completed the medallion, it's time for you to hold up your end of the deal," Yuki reminded.
"No worries, I won't back out on our agreement. But I do need some time to fully harness and consolidate my power," Vincent replied.
"And why should we care about that?" Yuki questioned.
"Don't be like that. We both know that breaking the seal of the underworld requires a huge amount of energy. You wouldn't want me to fail, right?" Vincent teased, his smile playful.
Yuki was surprised. "How did you know about that?" she asked, taken aback. She hadn't told him about the details of breaking the seal yet, so hearing him mention it was unexpected
"I have my ways, and you have yours. By the way, who's this gentleman? Is he the one wielding the power of space?" Vincent inquired, his tone lacking any trace of fear.
Yuki was taken aback herself. Vincent's nonchalant demeanor in the face of Geju's presence surprised her. Despite his laid-back attitude, he wielded more power than she did, making Vincent's composed reaction all the more unexpected.
She recalled that even Hades himself had shown great respect towards Geju.
"Indeed, I'm that guy. Hahaha," Geju chuckled and extended his hand .
Vincent reciprocated the gesture, and the two men shook hands.
The instant their hands made contact, Geju seized the opportunity to gauge Vincent's strength more closely, assessing his energy capacity.
'Wait, this can't be true!' Geju's expression turned serious, his eyes reflecting his astonishment. However, he swiftly concealed his surprised look, adopting a composed demeanor.
The transition was so swift that even Yuki, who wasn't fully attentive, failed to detect any anomaly.
Meanwhile, Vincent returned the smile to Geju. It was a smile that carried a deep meaning.
"We're in big trouble , " Geju muttered to himself.

Inside Evangeline Mansion,
Evangeline, Erika, and the rest of Vincent's wives had gathered in a room, engaging in conversations about the upcoming Supernatural Summit. While Vincent had reassured them that he had everything under control, they still decided to hold a meeting as a precaution, ready to offer their help if the need arose.
Continuing their conversation, each woman shared her unique strengths and abilities. While some might consider this risky, the genuine love they all felt for Vincent made the likelihood of betrayal extremely low.
Evangeline was an attentive listener, taking in the descriptions of their powers. She couldn't help but be astounded by the formidable abilities possessed by these new additions. Particularly, Long Mu's power stood out. The mere mention of her abilities implied that she could defeat Diablo with a casual gesture – such was her immense strength.
During their discussion, a mental ranking of the Moonlight Sanctuary took shape in Evangeline's thoughts:
Rank 1: Vincent
Rank 2: Long Mu
Rank 3: Erika
Rank 4: Selene
Rank 5: Selie
Rank 6: Evangeline
Rank 7: Emilia
Rank 8: Celeste
Rank 9: Black Rose Witches
Rank 10: Twin Horns
Although an impressive lineup, Evangeline knew that it was not enough yet.
The door creaked open.
"Vincent, you're back!" Erika exclaimed, springing up from her chair and rushing toward the entrance. However, her excitement quickly turned into a serious expression. An ice blade materialized in her hands, its point aimed at Vincent's neck.
CLANG!
The sound of collision resonated as the ice sword met an unexpected resistance – just two fingers.
"Who are you?" Erika's tone grew cold. In an instant, she and everyone else in the room realized that the person standing before them was not Vincent.
This individual might have managed to deceive Yuki and Geju, but not them. Their deep love for Vincent enabled them to detect even the slightest shift in his demeanor.
Quite impressive," the imposter chuckled as it effortlessly pushed the sword away.
"But is that truly the appropriate way to welcome your sister?" It revealed with a sudden shift in its tone.
In the blink of an eye, the figure underwent a mesmerizing transformation right before their gaze. Her form gracefully shifted and contoured, like a delicate dance of shadows and light.
In a captivating display, the once unfamiliar presence morphed into a stunning maiden with flowing white hair that cascaded like silk, and eyes that burned a fierce shade of crimson.
"Sister Elizabeth!" Erika and Evangeline exclaimed simultaneously. There was no doubt in their minds that the woman standing before them was indeed their beloved Sister Elizabeth.
With a swiftness that seemed almost magical, both Erika and Evangeline moved like a flash, covering the distance in the blink of an eye.
They enveloped their elder sister in a warm and passionate embrace.
The depth of their affection and longing was undeniable, evident in the tightness of their hold. It was crystal clear that their hearts had yearned for her presence, and the reunion was a moment they had both eagerly awaited.
"I'm back,"
