Chapter 467 - The Golden-Skinned Aliens ( 1 )

Chapter 467 - The Golden-Skinned Aliens ( 1 )

Ace had been observing the movement of Imperial Flagship ever since the start of the battle.

He actually wanted to contribute to the fight outside but he needed to stay in their Flagship to take care of the command.

After all, Wallace would have to go outside and the Grand Sages who are good at commanding on the battlefield can't stay here either.

All the abled fighters must participate in this war. As for him, he only has strength similar to an Adept and he's mostly relying on his advanced technology equipment to fight.

In short, it's better for him to stay in the command center inside the Magnificence.

"The enemy Flagship had sent out more than a thousand Khrusams! They are carrying Corpse Furnaces. Terror Mages and Cryptic Mages, it's your turn now!"

Ace immediately said as soon as he noticed the golden-skinned aliens appearing like a flood coming out of the Flagship.

The Khrusams outside already number more than 5,000 and are currently being dealt with by more than 10,000 newly trained Soul Arts Practitioners.

They are Miya and Miss Chamber's students that had trained in the Floating Island for several weeks.

Luckily, because their number surpasses the Khrusams outside, they were able to fight with the control of the Death Energy.

That's right, thanks to the research group's relentless efforts, the secrets of the Death Energy have been discovered and could now be controlled by this planet's magicians as long as they received the teachings made by Miya's group.

However, the Imperial Prince noticed what was happening and quickly sent all of their Khrusams outside.

These Khrusams with their Corpse Furnace will definitely be able to snatch the control of the Death Energy.

"Yes, Sir!"

The Commander of the Cryptic Mages and the Terror Mages replied in unison. They were both tall and charismatic men and wielding guns as their weapons…

Of course, these weapons aren't firing bullets or lasers but instead, Mana Spells.

They are both trained by Miya's group as well regarding the matters of Death Energy. However, the difference about them is that their group was also trained by Lacus, the Arcane Artificer under Grand Arcanist Slaine and Wallace's fellow apprentice.

That's right, the group that researched the Corpse Furnaces left by the Khrusams on the battlefield was Lacus' team.

She and the other apprentices of all the Grand Arcanists of the country worked together to study the Corpse Furnaces and create a Magic Structure that will allow them to imitate it and even simplify using the wonders of their Arcane.

Right now, the guns they are holding are the result of the simplification of the Corpse Furnace. Unfortunately, even with all their efforts, they could only create more than 600 of these Mana Artifacts enough to equip a small group of Terror Mages and Cryptic Mages.

"Hector, I'll leave it to you." Ace said to the leader of the Cryptic Mages.

"Don't worry… We will show you a satisfying result." Hector smiled as he answered Ace. He and his group's airships then moved forward to engage with the Khrusams who had just come out of the spaceship.

His full name is Hector Newman and was one of the TMAC's participants before. Unfortunately, because of the war, he was forced to advance as a Cryptic Mage.

He was unable to break through using the Arcane Baptism and couldn't form an Adept Link.

There was no problem with this during normal times as he would have to just wait for three to five years to advance as an Adept. However, time is not with him. The aliens have arrived and many magicians and ordinary people were killed.

He couldn't wait for several years to advance as an Adept.

In the end, he was forced to participate in the mass injection of Cryptic Link Serum to become powerful soldiers to fight against the Aliens.

He no longer had a chance to advance normally and he might just be stuck as a Cryptic Mage forever without any hopes of advancing to a Sage.

This is the same case of many members of the Cryptic Mages but since it's for the sake of the planet, they have to sacrifice their life and their future as Magician.

At the very least, he no longer has to worry about any backlash even if they cast forbidden magic.

***

As soon as Hector finished his conversation with Ace, he made a serious face and looked at the battlefield.

Wallace and his team of elite magicians started charging towards the flying Imperial Flagship. If he wasn't mistaken, the people together with him were the mysterious Northern Natives.

They are exuding a violent aura that is almost similar to the Mana Calamity.

No, perhaps they are even able to trigger the Calamity itself. After all, they barely knew anything about it.

Anyway, they are traveling by running swiftly on the ground and they even cast several concealing spells. He can only see a shadow of them moving quickly to attack the bottom of the spaceship. However, they are definitely going to face a thousand Khrusams once they reached their destination.

As for the numerous Imperial Soldiers and Marauder gears on the ground, the Mobile Turrets and the Battle Mages are dealing with them at the moment.

Whom~

Hector suddenly felt a thick Death Energy coming from the direction of the newly arrived Khrusams.

'Hmm? They are not using the Death Energy from the recent deaths… It feels different.' Hector pondered as soon as he recognized their Death Energy.

Of course, his small army had also noticed this so they were a bit curious. But as they were pondering, they heard a familiar voice in their intercom.

"It must be the Death Energy of their fellow race…"

The voice said and they immediately recognized her.

"Miss Miya… So you are also here." Hector felt a bit surprised but he immediately composed himself.

"Yes, the Floating Island is being used to treat the patients. We can't go too far."

"I see. Then this Death Energy is from the dead Khrusams? It seems to be special."

"That's right. I noticed that as well during our research. This Death Energy is harder to control. So don't waste your time and just destroy their Corpse Furnace instead of competing with them."

"I understand. We'll use the surrounding Death Energy instead to fight these aliens." Hector confidently answered as they charged at the golden-skinned aliens.

During this time, several bullets and laser guns were also being fired at their airship. There were also a couple of particle beams that were aimed at them…

However, a small part of the Lucent Force and their Mech Knights made their move.. They did their best to protect their airship until they were in a distance where the Empire would have to reconsider firing to avoid hitting their allies.
