Chapter 76: A Necklace

Chapter 76: A Necklace

When using a hundred liters of Honey of Life, the fire that Aldric lit had to be bigger. It flared up, making the air hot.

Aldric found it difficult to do it alone, so he called his other clones to help.

One clone then controlled the fire and one clone controlled the cauldron.

With their cooperation, the process was easy and quick.

Buzz!

Finally, the first pill was finished.

When he held it, Aldric found that it was denser and heavier even though it was no different in shape from the pills he had made before.

By his estimation, it weighed exactly 100 grams.

Perhaps the previous two pills weighed 10 and 20 grams. Every one liter of Life Honey would apparently produce an aura essence weighing 1 gram, so it was not difficult to distinguish between Vitalis Pills.

Aldric made another new one.

One by one, he continued to make Vitalis Pills.

After a few hours, he finally managed to make twenty Vitalis Pills.

They were small but when they were gathered in his palm, he could feel the weight reaching 2 kg.

'Mm, if sold, they would cost at least 3000 Dollars per pill,' he thought.

100 liters of Honey of Life, that's only 2500 Dollars, but by becoming Vitalis Pills, the price increased by almost 20%.

'But now is not the time.

Of course, he was in no hurry. After all, he still had quite a lot of savings.

Thinking that he had nothing else to do, so he chose to log out first.

Later in the afternoon, he wanted to exercise and today was the schedule for lifting weights.

Once logged out, he sat down, picking up the coffee jar beside him.

His eyes scanned the jar as he thought about making a cup of coffee.

When it came to food, it didn't matter who he got it from. Since it was in his hands, he couldn't throw it away.

The jar had a simply drawn logo of a ferret.

At first glance, this didn't seem like an expensive coffee.

In fact, it seems like a low-quality coffee that is packaged in a simple way.

Click!

The door suddenly opened, and Nolan stepped inside.

"Ahhh..." He seemed to be tired, stretching his body many times.

"Damn, why did that lecturer take so long in class, my head almost exploded," he said in a complaining tone.

He looked at Aldric, then at the jar in his hand, becoming curious.

"Is that coffee, Aldric?" He asked.

He moved closer, taking the jar up close for a better look.

"Civet coffee, is this really Civet coffee from Southeast Asia? Aldric, where did you get it? I heard this is a very expensive coffee. No, it's the most expensive coffee. If you buy it at a restaurant, one cup can reach 100 Pounds." After just a moment of looking at the jar closely, Nolan looked very surprised.

Aldric was even more surprised to hear about a single cup of coffee costing £100.

He quickly pulled the jar out of Nolan's hand, staring at it with even more amazement.

How many cups could he make with all the coffee in that jar?

Probably had no problem making up to 30 cups.

"Aldric, I heard you were approached by many rich women who like young men, you didn't start doing anything strange, did you?" Nolan suddenly asked suspiciously.

Aldric almost sneezed at his question.

Even the chubby young man was suspicious like that.

Of course, he couldn't blame him. After all, it was strange that he kept carrying expensive items.

Last night was a rather expensive virtual headset and now there was coffee that was also very expensive.

Perhaps Nolan originally believed that he bought that virtual headset on credit, but now he might have become doubtful.

Aldric knew that he needed to make a plausible excuse to maintain his reputation.

The problem was that this fat young man could have told others about this.

Only, he wasn't sure what excuse he could make?

After all, who would easily give expensive goods to a young man other than a sugar mommy?

"My girlfriend, my girlfriend gave it to me," he said so suddenly that he was almost unconscious as he said it.

When he felt like he couldn't come up with an idea, he said it spontaneously.

What other excuse could he make?

After all, if he got something from his girlfriend, then it's nothing to be ashamed of, it's not an act of selling out.

Next he just needs to claim that his girlfriend is a rich woman.

Maybe that seems impossible for other men if they are not rich, but it is not impossible for him.

"What? You have a girlfriend?" Nolan became even more surprised that his back straightened.

It might be natural for a man with good looks to have a girlfriend, but Nolan had never seen Aldric take the initiative to personally mingle with women.

He even seemed to shy away when a woman approached him.

Hence, he was often suspected of having some issues that made him not want to date.

Because he lied once, Aldric still had to tell another lie.

He felt depressed when he thought about it, but he had no other way. This was to avoid bad rumors.

"I do have a girlfriend," he said in a low voice.

"What is your girlfriend like? Does she study at this university? What's her name? She must be very pretty, right? Right, I'm sure she's a woman from a rich family." Before he could say anything more clearly, Nolan gave him a barrage of questions.

He blinked a few times, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

"This is my secret," he replied and handed the jar to Nolan.

"How about you make two cups of coffee first so we can drink it."

He hoped this would take Nolan's mind off things so that he wouldn't keep asking about the fictitious girlfriend he said he had.

Of course, his claim would probably make Jenny, the woman who gave him the coffee, very happy.

"Sure!" Nolan didn't refuse when he asked him to make coffee.

He seemed to be very curious about the taste.

He quickly stood up, walking to the dispenser to get some warm water.

"Later, you should bring your friends to meet your girlfriend and your girlfriend should bring her friends. Maybe one of us is destined to be with one of your girlfriend's friends," the man said as he began transferring the coffee in the jar to two large cups.

Aldric was too lazy to respond to his words.

Of course, he wasn't going to bring anyone to meet Jenny.

Nolan used a teaspoon to transfer the coffee from the jar to the two cups.

A moment later, he suddenly knitted his brows.

From the spoon, there was suddenly something hanging, a silver necklace with a glass pendant hanging below it.

And it wasn't just a glass pendant, there was an image inside that was quite clearly visible.
