Chapter 620 - Versus Shinla

Chapter 620: Versus Shinla

The impact of Shinla’s attack could be felt inside the dimension.

“We have been exposed!” Bai Li warned, “It’s probably Shinla.”

The aptitude user who was wasted inside the room regained his desire to live when he heard the name.

“I will ask my boss to let you two live if you stop now. Otherwise, you would rather die than live in front of my boss,” The aptitude user bellowed desperately.

“Who gave you permission to talk?” Qin Feng slapped his chest with his palm. More blood spitted out from the aptitude user’s mouth.

“Since we have been exposed, remove the quarantine altogether. Stall Shinla, I will be there soon!” Qin Feng ordered.

Bai Li smiled confidently and said, “You would not be needed. I can kill him by myself!” She was not boasting. After all, Bai Li was already a B-tier aptitude user.

“Retract!” Bai Li removed the spatial runes. The darkness around them promptly vanished and the room returned to its original state, except that one of the walls had been demolished.

It was apparently Shinla’s doings.

The aptitude user was spirited and rushed out frantically.

“Chief, save me!”

He had been defending well throughout and Qin Feng had yet to find an opening to land the finishing blow.

Seeing that now he had given up on defense willingly and exposed himself, Qin Feng did not waste the opportunity and drew his Verdant Emperor Saber without much hesitation.

“Blazing Sky!”

A fuchsia flame burst into life and swung across the air like a ribbon. It instantly pierced through the fleeing aptitude user. Not only that but those standing outside, including Shinla, were being forced back by the formidable power.

Buzz!

The heatwave of the Blazing Sky collided with Shinla’s internal force shield and generated a buzzing sound. Smoke could be seen rising from Shinla’s armor under the extreme heat.

But the armor remained unscathed after the fire died down. The area that was slightly thinned by the attack had been restored by Shinla using internal strength.

This was probably the first time someone could withstand Blazing Sky.

Qin Feng walked out from the big hole on the bedroom wall. Outside, Shinla was tiptoeing on the front tip of a giant tree’s branch. He watched coldly as his B-tier subordinate freefell to the ground from the room.

He had lost an underling.

An A-tier could not afford to lose too many subordinates. Every single B-tier was treasured.

But now he had to watch one get killed in front of his very own eyes.

That was not all. He thought about the empty villa and destroyed room. Apparently, Qin Feng had killed more than one B-tier.

“You two!” Shinla stared at Qin Feng and Bai Li. His hunch was right. “Well, well! Who would have thought!”

Shinla was near his boiling point. Based on his powers, he was the one who was supposed to capture Bai Li and kill Qin Feng by now, not the other way around.

The current situation had gone far beyond his control. The reputation and forces he had gathered all these years were on the brink of demolition at this moment.

The only thing Shinla wanted now was to kill them both.

With a slight push, Shinla lunged forward and dived at them quickly.

Qin Feng gripped his Verdant Emperor Saber tightly. This was the first time facing an A-tier after he was reborn. A battle rarely occurred between A-tiers even in his past life.

At this tier, the disparity was usually very thin. A battle between two A-tiers would not benefit anyone. Nobody wished to see their hard-earned power evaporate in a meaningless battle.

The more you own, the more you fear losing.

But Qin Feng had no fear. His fearlessness did not stem from his confidence in himself but in Bai Li.

With Bai Li on his side, Qin Feng could go anywhere at any time. He could escape from any kind of enemy, be it beast or human.

Of course, a maniac like Z was an exception. But how many Zs could there be on this planet earth?

Thus, Qin Feng’s confidence was sky-high.

As Shinla got closer, Qin Feng swung the saber in his hand.

Massive internal strength was being infused into the saber, enlarging the saber by almost ten times its original size.

Shinla wanted to end the fight in one strike too. He took out his own weapon—a huge machete. The heavy machete looked intimidating.

“Die!”

“Huff!”

The machete came straight down carrying great force.

“Yeah, die now!” Qin Feng roared back. He took a step forward, stabled himself, and braced for the blow.

Boom!

The second floor of the villa completely collapsed. Qin Feng had jumped up and met Shinla in midair.

Clank!

The two sabers collided as if two cyclones had come together.

The impact of the crash rippled off and shattered the vegetation around them.

Shinla roared and hacked down again. Suddenly, a daunting dark light appeared. The force seemed to be able to cut through everything.

Qin Feng could not evade. Not that he planned to.

“Blazing Sky.”

His fuchsia blaze came alive once again.

The two forces collided and lit up a series of explosions.

Everything happened within seconds. After the two skills, they descended to the land together and collided again as soon as they both touched the ground.

Boom!

Clank! Clank!

Both of their internal forces were being exhausted rapidly. However, neither Qin Feng’s nor Shinla’s internal force shield was broken.

‘Just as I thought. My current power is still insufficient to kill an A-tier.’

He did fight evenly with the A-tier but his internal force was being dissipated at an unprecedented rate.

Though he had 99 pools of internal strength, and the sum of internal forces was nine times greater than that of an A-tier, the way an A-tier and B-tier used internal forces were ultimately different.

Moreover, the weapon in Shinla’s hand was rather formidable too. The Verdant Emperor Saber lost to it in terms of physical force.

Qin Feng gradually lost his ground as the fight dragged on.

“Scram, brat!”

Shinla swung his machete and forcefully sent Qin Feng flying backward.

Crack!

Qin Feng’s internal force shield finally broke.

“Die now!”

The murderous look on Shinla’s face was petrifying. He lunged forward and hacked his machete vertically. He wanted to cut Qin Feng in half.

Qin Feng managed to reconstruct his internal force shield at the last moment.

Bam!

The machete hit on the shield and Qin Feng was once again sent flying.

The villa near them had long been reduced into a ruin. The commotion inevitably startled other aptitude users. As they gathered up, only three B-tier users showed themselves. The rest of the B-tiers had been put down by Qin Feng.

“What happened? Who are these two rats?”

“Wait, the lady looks familiar! Oh! Oh! She is the one our boss wanted!”

“F*ck! Why are they here? Are they brave or stupid? They are so dead now with our boss fighting at full force.”

“Kill him! Kill him!”

The members of the Shinla Devils chanted enthusiastically while watching the battle.

Qin Feng was once again sent flying by Shinla’s attack. Blood began to drip out from the corner of his mouth.

“Alright, my turn. He was mine from the beginning!” Bai Li stood in front of Qin Feng and lashed out her Spatial Whip.
