They were all slightly displeased by how smug Millie had been acting and how she had treated them as
if she was above everyone else.
Millie paled and turned to look at Aurelia with resentment, as though Aurelia was the one who had
embarrassed her.
Kimberly stepped forward. She seemed like she was changing the subject, but she was actually
fanning the fire. “Aurelia, your husband has great taste.”
Everyone focused on Aurelia once again, their eyes filled with envy.
“Aurelia has found herself a good match. Her mother–in–law treats her well, and so does her husband.”
Everyone in the building knew that Aurelia’s mother was critically ill. Anyone who married her would be
in for a lot of trouble.
