Chapter 764: No One Was More Evil Than His Little Sister
Huo Xiang lost all his envy when he realized that it was a dog. He walked up to the box and stroked the puppy’s tiny head and nodded seriously. “Well, my nephew certainly looks adorable. You are very lucky to have him.”
He was very lucky to have a son before he had even found himself a girlfriend.
Huo Tingrui raised his head and glared at Huo Xiang annoyingly.
Huo Xiang pretended not to see Huo Tingrui’s reaction and carried the puppy out of the box.
Huskies were a medium-sized dog breed. Even though the puppy was only slightly over a month old, he looked pretty big. He had big bright brown eyes and looked chubby. The dog was absolutely adorable.
Huo Tingrui’s body stiffened when he saw the dog. He retreated by a few steps and stopped acting. “Keep it away from me!”
“Brother Tingrui, Yao especially prepared this gift for you. How could you hurt her feelings?” sighed Huo Xiang as he quoted what Huo Tingrui had just said.
He had wanted to show off earlier, but now he was clearly uneasy.
Huo Tingrui watched as Huo Xiang approached him and felt terrified. “I’m warning you. If you come any closer to me, I will…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Huo Xiang placed the puppy in his arms.
Huo Tingrui was petrified.
“Hold on tight! Yao gave it to you!” said Huo Xiang unhurriedly before he forced Huo Tingrui to carry the puppy stiffly.
Huo Xiang pulled his hands back. He looked at Huo Tingrui’s reaction and cleared his throat before turning around quickly in an effort to stifle his laughter.
Huo Tingrui was the most mischievous person in the family. He was brutal whenever he teased them. Now that he could finally have a taste of his own medicine, Huo Xiang felt avenged.
Huo Xiang really had to hand it to his little sister. No one was more evil than her.
No wonder she asked him what Huo Tingrui was afraid of earlier this morning.
She had probably been planning this all along.
Huo Tingrui was oblivious of Huo Yao’s intentions as he glared at the puppy in his arms. Even though the puppy looked harmless, he could feel his scalp going numb.
The dog suddenly raised his head and licked the back of Huo Tingrui’s hand and rubbed his head against Huo Tingrui’s chest enthusiastically.
Huo Tingrui’s hands trembled so hard that he almost flung the puppy aside. His voice quivered as he said, “Hurry up. Take it, please…”
However, no one came to his rescue. The entire family went to the dining room in unison.
(???)
His family was absolutely evil!
They knew that he was terrified of dogs. How could they do this to him?
The puppy in his arms started to get restless, so Huo Tingrui quickly placed him on the ground anxiously and glared at him intimidatingly.
The puppy seemed to realize that Huo Tingrui was his new owner. The moment he was on the ground, he kept running in circles around Huo Tingrui and clawed Huo Tingrui’s legs every now and then. It was exceptionally lively and mischievous.
Huo Tingrui wanted to cry.
He raised his head and looked at the family happily enjoying dinner in the dining room and felt convinced once more they were not his biological family.
Sigh!

After dinner, Huo Yao passed Huo Tingrui a dog-rearing guidebook. “… It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to raise a dog. Just read this book and you will be fine.”
Huo Tingrui lowered his head. He looked at the book in his hand, glanced at the dog sitting beside his feet, and sighed miserably.
Why was it his birthday?
If it had not been his birthday, Huo Yao wouldn’t have given him the dog.
Huo Tingrui pressed his forehead helplessly after getting a new son.
