Chapter 146
After a brief round of self-introduction, Yu Fanshu got a general idea of Millie’s and Tang Tongtong’s situations.
“How are you feeling, Teacher Yu?” Millie asked.
“I’m almost back in shape, thank you for asking.”
“It’s nice to meet you. I’m looking forward to our next recording session together.”
“Me too. Actually, there’s no need to call me teacher. I’m not much more experienced than you guys.”
If one looked back at Yu Fanshu’s career in the entertainment industry, she couldn’t be considered an experienced actress at all. She wasn’t very old, either.
“No, no. You are very amazing. You are a goddess in my mind,” Millie said.
Jun Zishu wore a light smile as she watched Yu Fanshu converse with Millie. She didn’t try to interject the conversation.
Meanwhile, after ending her conversation with Millie, Yu Fanshu approached Jun Zishu.
Jun Zishu was dressed plainly today as well, the white and blue dress she wore giving her a refreshing appearance.
“Did you arrive a while ago?”
“No, I just got here too.”
“Shouldn’t there be another pair? I heard from Coco that there are three pairs in total.”
“There should be. Big Sis Ming didn’t say anything to me, so I’m not too sure.”
Generally, the television crew wouldn’t take the initiative to reveal the identities of the other attending guests. Guests would have to rely on their connections to find out about the identities of the other guests. However, Zhao Chenming wasn’t as well-connected as Coco, so she might not know anybody related to the television crew. Of course, there was also the possibility that she didn’t bother asking at all.
“You seem to have changed your dressing style?”
“I want to have my own style now. Of course, if you want us to dress as a couple, I don’t mind it, either, Teacher,” Jun Zishu said as she playfully winked at Yu Fanshu.
Yu Fanshu froze for a moment before letting out a light cough. Though, she did find the thought of wearing couple clothing a good idea.
Others inside the studio naturally noticed the hushed conversation between Jun Zishu and Yu Fanshu, and everyone held varying thoughts on this situation.
In Millie’s case, she was surprised to see that the two seemed to share a good relationship. The atmosphere around the two felt calm and relaxing, and it didn’t look like Jun Zishu was behaving particularly restrained around Yu Fanshu.
Then, when Millie recalled the comments on Weibo, she couldn’t help but wonder if Yu Fanshu’s fans would die from embarrassment when they discovered that their goddess was getting along so well with her supposed arch-nemesis.
Unlike the first two pairings, the third pairing arrived at the studio with some fanfare.
“I wouldn’t have come if I knew I was going to be paired with you.”
“What a coincidence! I wouldn’t, either!”
“I’d rather date a dog than date you.”
“The feeling is mutual. I’d rather be single for the rest of my life than date you.”
The new arrivals were two boys. One had a bright and handsome appearance, while the other looked a little cold.
Jun Zishu was unfamiliar with both of them, so Little Fairy promptly provided her with the revelation.
Apparently, these two boys were the bandleaders of popular bands, and the two of them could be considered enemies or rivals as their bands constantly competed for the spot of best band. The smell of smoke was also intense among their fans.
However, even though the two boys were bickering back and forth with each other, their footsteps were surprisingly synchronized as they walked.
“If it wasn’t for my manager’s request, I wouldn’t have come to see your stinky face.”
“Do you think I’m any different? If it wasn’t for my manager’s request, why would I want to stay with someone uglier than me?”
The two tussled like children, creating an amusing sight for the surrounding spectators.
“”Stop arguing.””
The two boys’ managers spoke up together, silencing them immediately.
After Jun Zishu saw this third pairing, she also realized the attraction of this program. After inviting three such guest pairings to the show, it was almost certain this dating show would become a huge success.
Firstly, there was the hotly debated “Twins” pairing. Just the news of Yu Fanshu’s comeback was already more than enough to break the internet. The fact that she was making her return in a dating show on top of that would only serve to draw even more attention to the show.
Next, there was the “Most Adorable Height Difference” pairing. This was the most normal pair out of the three pairs, and it would undoubtedly carry the banner of sweetness for this program. This pair would probably have the highest popularity among teenage girls, and just looking at the pair would make one have the urge to fall in love.
Lastly, there was the comedic duo. Although Lemon and Jiu Xi weren’t exactly comedians, their snarky interactions with each other created a comedic scene that was relatively popular among today’s audience. The emotional progression of two enemies trying to get along would also leave a lasting impression on the spectating audience.
Every pairing could cater to different types of audiences. It would seem that the television crew had put a lot of thought into selecting the guests.
“Hello, everyone. I am Luo Yi. You can also call me Lemon.”
“Lemon?”
“Yes.”
Lemon smiled cheerfully, and his voice sounded a little hoarse. Noticing this, Jun Zishu asked, “Do you have a cold?”
Lemon was momentarily surprised by Jun Zishu’s question. Then, he nodded and said, “But I’m almost healed now.”
“I’m Jiu Xi,” the cool boy standing beside Lemon said.
After finishing his greeting, Lemon promptly approached Yu Fanshu and stopped three steps away. Then, he said, “Hello, Miss Yu! I am a fan of yours!”
“Do I have so many fans here? Thank you for liking me.”
“You underestimate your popularity too much, Miss Yu.”
…
Now that all three pairings had arrived, the studio quickly started to get busy. The TV crew had already planned to have all three pairings dress in different styles, so the guests were quickly ushered to the changing rooms.
“We just talked about dressing like a couple, and here it comes,” Jun Zishu said to Yu Fanshu when she saw the costumes prepared in the dressing room.
Yu Fanshu had an exclusive makeup room and a makeup team. By virtue of being Yu Fanshu’s partner, Jun Zishu also got brought into the makeup room.
The planner gave the makeup artists a lecture on what kind of makeup they needed and their shooting environment. In response, the makeup artists nodded their heads and expressed their understanding.
After the makeup was done, Jun Zishu looked at Yu Fanshu and felt like she was looking at herself in the mirror but with subtle differences.
In reality, though, Jun Zishu didn’t quite remember what her current face looked like. After all, it wasn’t her original body, and she didn’t have a hobby of staring at herself in the mirror every day.
“Even though we have similar faces, you look much better than me, Teacher,” Jun Zishu offered sincere praise. She honestly thought that Yu Fanshu looked much better. To be precise, she liked the unique and comfortable aura that Yu Fanshu radiated.
“I think you are cuter.”
“Let’s stop with the compliments. Teacher, you should go and get changed first,” Jun Zishu said. The longer she looked at Yu Fanshu, the longer she found the other party cute and irresistible. Right now, she felt that Yu Fanshu had even Millie beat in the cuteness department.
…
Jun Zishu and Yu Fanshu’s photoshoot was relatively simple. They were given a refreshing background, and all they needed to do was smile and stare into each other’s eyes.
The style of Jun Zishu and Yu Fanshu’s photoshoot could be equated to a refreshing cup of lemon juice on a hot summer day. The first thought that would come to one’s mind when one looked at them was a comfortable ocean breeze.
Millie and Tang Tongtong’s photoshoot was like a pink macaroon or strawberry-flavored ice cream. They were full of sweetness and happiness.
Lemon and Jiu Xi’s photoshoot could probably be equated to a Sichuan hot pot. Despite their fiery interactions, one couldn’t help but love them.
In reality, Jiu Xi was a relatively quiet and cold young man, and he would typically treat outsiders with the same indifferent attitude. However, so long as he came into contact with Lemon, he would explode like a powder keg that had caught on fire.
After the photoshoot, the guests needed to record individual interviews.
Jun Zishu stood against a white backdrop with a microphone in hand as she looked at the camera in front of her.
“What kind of mood were you in when you first learned of the Twins ship?” the interviewer asked.
After pondering for a moment, Jun Zishu answered, “I felt exceptionally surprised. I also felt as if I had somewhat tarnished Miss Yu’s reputation again. I thought that it would be aggravating for Miss Yu if she were to date me.”
Jun Zishu smiled as she spoke, and her voice sounded clean without a hint of gloom.
“What did you feel when you learned that you would be attending this show?”
“Money really does fall from the sky, and it just so happened to have landed right on me.”
“What is your impression of the Film Empress?”
“Miss Yu is a very, very good person.”
“Lastly, do you have anything you want to say to the Film Empress’s fans or your fans?”
“My little darlings who have supported me all this time, I think your patience will finally start to pay off,” Jun Zishu said with a bright smile. Then, she put on a cheekier smile and continued, “Little Stars, I will take good care of your precious. Will I get beaten if this segment gets broadcast?”
After her interview, Jun Zishu saw that Yu Fanshu was still busy with her own interview. So, she sent Yu Fanshu a message and left the studio first.
The show would officially start filming tomorrow. Jun Zishu didn’t know what kind of tricks the TV crew had prepared, so she intended to take a good rest and make sure she was ready for anything.
…
At nine o’clock that night, A Week in Love’s official Weibo account made a post that ignited the entire internet.
A Week in Love: The first ship is out, and it is none other than our “Twins” – Yu Fanshu and Jun Ling! [Flowers] Guess who our next ship is?

Upon seeing “Only Love Fanshu’s” comment, everyone promptly moved to Yu Fanshu’s Weibo account.
Yu Fanshu’s Weibo account had very few posts. Apart from promotional posts, the only other times she would post on her Weibo account was when she was reporting in sick. However, the account that had remained inactive for the past two years finally had an update:
Yu Fanshu: I’m back.
This post had gained several thousand likes and over a thousand comments in less than one minute after it was made. Through this, one could see just how popular Yu Fanshu was. Moreover, these numbers were still rapidly growing as more time passed.

Starry Skies: Welcome back!
Starry Dots: We’ve been waiting for you this entire time! Thankfully, our patience wasn’t for naught!
Anonymous Netizen: Am I the only one who cares that Yu Fanshu is attending the dating show with Jun Ling?
Many of Yu Fanshu’s excited fans simultaneously fell silent upon seeing the last comment.
