Chapter 67 - The Turn Out Of Event

Chapter 67 - The Turn Out Of Event

"I am the one who should be furious for making a fool out of me and not you getting mad at me ok?" Eli said angrily. His expression portrays just how furious he was.

"What the heck is he spewing?" Jeff said sounding annoyed. The furious Eli ignored Jeff's words, he was certain they will end up fighting physically if he decided to pay attention to Jeff's words at that moment.

"You made a fool of my love for you when you never liked me. You still love your boyfriend but was only pretending to like me so you will make us fight each other to death. I should have realised this sooner but was blinded by my feelings for you," Eli said as he held onto his broken wrist with a painful expression

"Did you just say she made a fool of you and your feelings?" Catherine scoffed throwing a murderous glance at him.

"Do you think that she would have spared you a glance if she did not have the slightest interest in you?" Catherine asked.

"I have always known that Catherine was tolerating his words and actions for Jasmine's sake but now that the game is over I am sure she is going to give him a piece of her mind," Jeff said in low tones.

"Hey Mr, don't go about deceiving yourself that Jasmine would have tolerated all your words and actions....,"

"Yeah, you are right about that. I was only making a fool of your feelings for me. Honestly, I don't give a damn about your feelings for me. All that I wanted was to have a lot of fun and I really had a lot of fun watching you guys fight over me," Jasmine admitted to the surprise of Catherine who did not see this coming.

"And did you just say you love me?" Jasmine asked rolling her eyes in disgust.

"Is it me that you love or my body? Make it clear next time so you won't go around creating misunderstandings," Jasmine said emotionlessly.

"You were only after my body and your words and actions depicted your intentions so don't you try to act the pitiful game because it won't work on a lady like me," Jasmine said harshly as she tilted her head sideways to avoid staring at him.

"Wow, her words are way out of this world. They are sharper than a double-edged sword," Steve said feeling bad for Eli.

"I have heard too much of her sweet words and saw so many of her lovely actions to recall the kind of lady the second daughter of Avans Group is," Jeff said as he stole a secret glance at Jasmine.

"She was only stating the truth so what is wrong with what she said?" Jackson quickly defended Jasmine.

"Will you also act this way if she treats you like this in the future....,"

"Steve, don't jinx their upcoming relationship. Although JK is a little cold, he is not anything like that jerk," Jeff replied firmly.

"Jasmine, let's go back. You have so many things to do tomorrow, you have to get enough sleep to get the energy to work," Catherine said standing up.

"Yeah, you are right about that. Besides someone has ruined my mood, I don't want to spend another minute here," Jasmine said standing up. She did not spare anyone on the table a glance.

Jasmine halted after walking someone distance away from their table.

"Jessica, don't forget to take him to the hospital to get his hand treated," Jasmine said coldly before she turns and walks out of the club in the company of Catherine.

"JK, she is gone. Aren't we going to chase after her?" Jeff asked. He stood up before Jackson could say a word.

"Hey, I let you do whatever you want with her today because she wanted it but trust me I won't be this nice the next time you pull those stunts. If you know what is good for you stay very far away from her," Jackson threatened before he stood up to leave.

"Hey dude, don't tell me you really love that she-devil?" Eli asked turning to stare at his back.

"If you love her then you are making the biggest mistake of your life. Although I haven't known her for a long time I can tell you that she is not capable of loving anyone. She is the type who would trample on the heart of any man who dares to show any interest in her...,"

"I love her so why do you care? She is the she-devil and I am the devil doesn't that make us a perfect match?" Jackson asked coldly.

"And dude, what if she tramples on my heart so many times? What matters is that I know what is at stake so the pain doesn't matter," Jackson said fiercely as he turned to leave.

"One more thing don't you ever say bad things about her because breaking your two hands won't give me as much satisfaction as cutting off your tongue," Jackson said fiercely as he turned and walk away.

"I am his best friend and I can assure you that he wasn't joking," Jeff said before they hurried after Jackson.

"Goddamn it! They have already left," Jackson remarked angrily.

"I am sure she must have wanted to wait but her best friend forced her into the car," Steve remarked.

"She is going to ruin your plans if we don't tackle her on time," Jeff said in a serious tone.

"Let's go," Jackson said acting like he did not hear their words.

Fifteen minutes later the three friends arrived in the hotel. From Jackson's expression, Steve and Jeff could tell that he was not happy with how everything turned out.

The moment the car halted in the hotel's parking lounge, Jackson came out of the car and headed into the hotel leaving his two friends behind.

The dejected Jackson who was now some distance away from his room halted when he saw the boots of someone. He slowly raised his gaze to see who it was.
