Chapter 146 Forechester Castle
Chapter 146 Forechester Castle
'The items are not bad.' Alex thought after checking all the items that The Lich and Death Knight dropped.
The only noteworthy item among the loot was the Death Knight sword of middle Unique quality, while his armor was peak epic quality, which had worse stats than Alex's previous armor.
'Let's get the instance dungeon entry token and leave this place.' Alex thought as he walked toward the Instance Dungeon portal.

The moment Alex touched the instance dungeon portal, he received the system notification and the dungeon entry tokens.
'I plan to sell this complete dungeon to Vlad, but after finding the doom cube, It should be better if I explore this place myself with capable comrades.' Alex thought, looking at the dungeon information.

'I will need a group of Rank four players to explore this place which is not happening, at least not any time soon.' Alex thought as he took out a return scroll, ready to teleport back to the capital city.

[One Hour Later]
[Forechester Castle]
After getting the dungeon entry tokens, Alex returned to the empire's capital city and took the teleportation service to the Ice Kingdom.
Alex had returned to the Ice Kingdom to clear the remaining two Hidden chambers of the Forechester Castle, the same place where he completed his first promotion quest.
Alex was currently in Forechester Castle and was navigating his way through the castle's ground floor toward the castle library.
'I am at level 81 and need 19 more to reach the 100 to get the second Rank promotion quest, which I should easily reach after clearing the two chambers.' Alex thought as he entered the library area.
The castle library was filled with old documents and books on history which players could read but couldn't take out of the library.
As there could be valuable information or clues to some hidden treasures in the books, many players were always present inside the library, and today was no different.
Alex ignored the few players checking the books and went toward the left-most corner of the library and directly went to the last shelve with zero books placed in it.
'There should be a keyhole somewhere in this place.' Alex thought as he closely checked the shelve, and after carefully checking, he found the keyhole on the middle bar of the shelve.
'Let's open the secret passage before some idiot come to this place.' Alex thought as he placed the key in its place.
After a few seconds, the wooden shelf got spilled from the center and opened like a door, revealing a hidden staircase that led underground.
Alex took the key back and then started descending the stairs while the wooden bookshelf returned to its normal condition closing the hidden passage.
'I should be able to clean this place within a few hours.' Alex thought as he stretched his body to get ready to quickly clear the second hidden chamber.
[After Three Hours]

'I killed close to two hundred monsters, and I just gained measly three levels.' Alex thought, standing next to the decapitated Undead Ghoul and a Magician.
'I didn't gain any new information, which is disappointing, but let's hope the final chamber can give the whereabouts of the Demon Noble.' Alex thought as he left the boss room.
Alex left the way he came, and after navigating through long and empty passages, he reached the stone brick wall with a keyhole.
Alex used the key to open the entrance, and after taking the key, he left the library, with the only difference being an open passage that led to an empty underground chamber.
After leaving the library, Alex quickly navigated his way to the castle's second floor and then went straight to the mistress room, as the entrance to the third hidden chamber was inside.
'There should be a keyhole somewhere in this place.' Alex thought, looking at the wooden floor, and with some effort, he located the keyhole in the right corner of the room.
'I wonder if the players in the library would locate the second chamber entrance before I am done clearing this chamber.' Alex thought as he inserted the key into the floor.
After a few seconds, a magic circle appeared on the floor, which started gathering an insane amount of mana from the surrounding, creating a mana storm around Alex which destroyed the wooden floor, and in just a few seconds, the whole room was a mess of broken items.
'This will gather a lot of attention.' Alex thought as darkness covered his eyes.
'I hate this feeling of forceful teleportation.' Alex thought as he felt his body being pulled in a different direction.
After a few seconds of uncomfortable experience, Alex was teleported to the third hidden chamber that was located underground.
'It will take a lot of time to clean this place, and in that time, some big guild would barricade the dungeon area to find me as they did in my previous life.' Alex thought, looking at the narrow passage in front of him.
In Alex's previous life, the disturbance caused by the teleportation circle garnered the attention of many players, and because of that, the whole area of the Forechester Castle was sealed by a guild knowing that the disturbance could be related to the hidden chamber.
The guild that sealed the castle area was successful in catching the mercenary group when they exited the hidden chamber through its only entrance, which got open in the castle's garden after the chamber was cleared.
'I would have been caught like the mercenary guild members, but with the help from Elder Darrien, I can leave this place without any issue as the low-level sealing barriers used by the guild couldn't possibly hope to detect an Elemental Ruler, let alone stop him.' Alex thought with a smile.
The Forechester Castle dungeon was in the territory of a tenth Ranking guild, and in his previous life, after founding the news of the disturbance, they used a sealing barrier that stopped anyone from leaving the area for the next twenty-four hours.
-----------------
[Eleven Hours Later.]
'It took me longer than expected, but the good thing is I should be able to reach the level 100 cap after killing the final boss.' Alex thought, standing in front of the final boss room.
Alex could have cleared the chamber much faster if he had just focused on quickly clearing each floor, but as he hoped to gain some extra information, he did it slowly, cleaning each floor to avoid missing anything.
The information Alex gained from the floor guardians was not anything significant, as it just explained the things that he already knew in detail, with some added information that was useless to him.
'The next fight is going to be a real tough battle for me, and this time, Elder Darrien will not be present to save me,' Alex thought as he pushed the door open and entered the boss room.
The hidden chambers had a level cap that forced every higher-level player to stay outside, and even though Alex's guardian knew the location of the hidden chamber, but they couldn't enter it, at least not according to Alex's knowledge.
The room was lit brightly with tens of light stones embedded in the ceiling, and in the middle of the room, a man was seated on the big chair with two females standing to his left and right.
The female on the left side of the chair was wearing full plate dark knight armor with a crimson lance in her hand, while another female wearing pitch-black skin-tight clothing was standing on the opposite side.
'I don't see Lady Lerela.' Alex thought as he checked the stats of all three creatures.

'The mercenary group clearly said that the second hidden chamber had Lady Lerela and an assassin with the final boss.' Alex thought after scanning the room and not finding the person of interest.
Lady Lerela was the mistress of the Forechester household, and the wife of the castle lord, and not finding her with the final boss monster raised many questions for Alex.
Alex had past life information, and he understood that there should be a reason that made the mercenary group lie about killing the castle lord's wife.
'What could be the reason for the mercenary group to spread false information.' Alex thought, silently staring at three creatures who had yet to move to attack him.
