Chapter 325 Broken Training Chambers
'Cronos' Alex thought, looking at the man seated upon a throne, with his void like, deep golden eyes looking straight at him.
"Cronos - Titan of Time" words rang in a voice that looked young and prideful but a voice that Alex was very familiar with.
Alex didn't recognize the visage of Cronos or the elaborate throne upon which he sat when he first examined the chamber, as he was awe-struck by the life-like sculpture of various individuals.
However, after looking at those unique threaded golden eyes that he could never forget, he instantly realized who he was looking at, and the ringing announcement in his mind only proved he was right.
The Cronos Alex met was a man who looked to be in his early forties, with wisdom reflecting in his calm eyes, with long flowing dark hair, and he wore a simple robe with clean lines and a color scheme of slate gray and gold like he could care less how people saw him.
The Cronos on the throne not only looked much younger, but besides that, he appeared different, with his eyes retaining their timeless essence, yet they now held a self-assured pride, one born from unshakable self-confidence.
He was clad in a regal suit of armor, adorned with shades of gray and radiant gold, and there were also no time cloaks floating around him.
After a few minutes of silently looking at the door with the carving of Cronos, Alex moved to the next one with the carving of breathtaking beauty, who, like others, was Titaness of Earth named Rhea.
Alex, one by one, checked all thirteen doors, with six being on each side and one biggest of them all at the end of the chamber belonging to Cronos.
Twelve of the gates belonged to titans, namely Cronos, Oceanus, Hyperion, Iapetus, Coeus, Crius, Rhea, Theia, Themis, Mnemosyne, and Tethys.
The only door that didn't belong to a Titan was one of a breaking dark beauty, one that made Alex question if the artist who carved these going wild or someone like her truly existed.
She was named Chaos, The Queen of Titans, which was a grand and audacious title, but it seemed it was not for show as her door was right next to Cronos, and she was the only one besides Cronos who was carved seated on the grand throne.
After examining the chamber, Alex returned next to Varon and his guardians with quite a few questions in mind.
"Varon, So how do these chambers work," Alex asked, knowing each chamber should have its specialty as standing even a few feet away from them, one could feel the element they represent, which shouldn't be just for show.
"The training chamber has many features, with the baseline being an indestructible area that heals in the blink of an eye, its size could be stretched to tens of kilometers if so desired, terrains could selected, and everything to the last of detail could selected,"
"You could pick even live creatures and individuals as opponents, and it could be an illusion, or it could also be the reality, depending on your choice," Varon said, and after a moment of silence, he continued.
"Now, the main features that set these training chambers apart from any other in the world include a much higher concentration of worldly law."
"In the chamber, the concentration of worldly laws could reach up to 1000 times higher than it is in most of the outside world and 100 times denser than the unique environment of the domain."
"The second feature is the chamber capacity, with a single training chamber capable of accommodating up to ten thousand Mortal individuals in separate spaces,"
"If it's just elementalists, that number decreases to four thousand, while only ten Elemental Rulers could use a chamber at a time and make it work at full capability,"
"Now, this is where it gets truly remarkable,"
"Chamber Spirits, life forms that inhabit the chambers, and they are responsible for making them what they are,"
"As for what they are or how they came to reside in the chambers and took the sole duty of managing them, no one knows, as these chambers were part of a much larger project made by the Monarch of Titans many millennia ago," Varon said, and after a brief pause, he continued.
"The Chamber Spirits manage everything about the training chambers, and they collect data from everyone who enters these chambers and are doing so for thousands of years, having amassed an uncountable wealth of information in their data banks,"
"The information they have is divided into ten ranks, and anyone who enters these chambers needs an entry badge and these badges are divided into ten ranks, and the features and information accessible to individuals are determined solely by the rank of their badge."
"After entering a chamber, an individual just needs to voice their needs, and the Spirits would assist them in selecting the most relevant and beneficial data for their training."
"After this comes one of the most significant features, the various states of illusion, with the first state being fighting any opponent from a variety of selections, with millions of available options of all strengths, skill sets, and races."
"The best part is that the illusion is indistinguishable from reality because the spirits remove the thought that the user is even in an illusion, so the user battles without holding back to defend his life, and even after death, he keeps his memory and experience and can start a new, and repeat that as many time as he can handle."
"The second form of illusion is entering an illusion where the individual experiences the memories of someone else, and those memories and experiences could be anything from skills, magic, understanding of the law, runes, mastery of strength, or any form of weapon."
"It's a chance to experience another's knowledge and experience firsthand, but the downside is that you would be prisoned in a body you can't control,"
"The third state of illusion offers a great opportunity, and within it, one gets to face oneself, a clone of them who comes in four stages from basic being the user's current state is to perfect, meaning the replica uses all the user's gifts to the best it could be done using the knowledge of the data bank."
"And finally, there is the fourth state of illusion where the user can relive recorded events, ranging from hunting a legendary creature and city raids to wars and beast tides."
"But there is a catch, and which is that no matter what level of ranked badge one uses, one needs to have a certain level of strength to enter one of these recorded events of history,"
"The user wouldn't be experiencing the event from the eyes of someone but live in those moments as those events of history unfolded, and the restriction of strength is placed because recreating those events requires a lot of valuable energy, and the bigger the event, the more the energy is used."
"All these stages of illusion offer a truly immersive learning experience that provides unique insights into various aspects of training and skill development," Varon paused, allowing Alex to digest the wealth of information he'd just provided about the remarkable features of these training chambers.
