Chapter 374 Family Time
After Alex went unconscious, he went to his Ancient world welcoming area, floating in the void, gazing at the massive plant in his conscious form.
Alex spent the first few minutes collecting his thoughts as his memories were a mess as he remembered a hundred different things, but his mind was calm because he knew he had killed the beast king and gave the command to stop using his skills, so the worst-case scenario didn't happen.
After some time, he pieced together how most of the battle went and he felt excited and terrified at the same time, knowing the power he wielded as he understood that he didn't even use the tenth of the elemental might he wielded.
Alex was wielding worldly law, and if he had a calm mind, he could have killed the Beast King or even the entire Beast Tide without needing to use his sword or even any big skills besides the few low-ranking skills like Abyssal Blast or Ebon Lance.
The power also came at a surprisingly high cost because besides having his mind filled with tens of roaring thoughts and his instincts screaming at him to kill all the inferior creatures who were somehow disrespecting him by just being alive, the threat of him going on a rampage for thirty minutes was the real problem.
After Alex collected his thoughts, he checked how long he would stay unconscious and quickly found the answer that After Alex collected his thoughts, he checked how long he would stay unconscious and quickly found the answer that it was six hours, which was problematic but better than being dead.
So, hoping that the city wouldn't get annihilated in the next six hours or any higher-ups come looking for him, he logged out.
As he had planned to host the Venedikt family at his house, he decided to check on the food preparation and see if his mother needed any help, and seeing everything was in order, he went back to his room, took a shower, and spent some time on the forums.
Alex had told his family about the friends he had made with the players who were working with him and how two of them, with their mother, would be coming to America for some time.
He also explained that because of group activities, like raids and such how he could stay at the guild house for days with his friends and asked his mother if it would be nice if she could also become acquainted with their mother so she would not be friendless in the land where everything was foreign to her.
Alex knew the ladies would like each other because besides them becoming like sisters in his past life, they were both simple ladies and found happiness in small things, and their sons being friends would play its part, and to him, it was an excellent thing.
Alex left for the airport in a big cab with half an hour left on the flight landing, and ten minutes later, he was in a giant arrivals hall waiting for his brothers to arrive.
----------------
"Twenty Minutes later."
Alex was drinking his fourth cup of coffee as his eyes roamed through the incoming crowd of people when he located the figure that towered over everyone in his surroundings, and seeing him put a smile on his face.
Moments later, the crowd cleared, and the group of three became visible, with a pretty lady who wore a lose off-white abayas dress with a hijab and chadar and a handsome man walking to her right dressed in a dark Kurta with a long dark overcoat.
To her left was the giant of a man, carrying two bags, with his piercing blue eyes scanning the area, and for a moment, his gaze stopped on Alex before continuing forward.
"Venedikt and Andrei," Alex said as he raised his hand, and seeing him, both of them smiled and quickly made their way into the hall.
"Assalamu Alaikum," Alex said to the lady he saw as his aunt, if not second mother, peace be upon you in Arabic, which was the common way of greeting among Muslims.
"My name is Alex, and it is my pleasure to meet you," Alex said with a smile.
"Wa, Alaikum Assalam,"
"I'm Irina Makarov, and it's truly delightful to finally meet the wonderful friend my sons always speak so highly of." Aunt Irina said with a smile, making both her sons break into smiles.
"I am nothing special. They are just good friends and very talented individuals," Alex said before he greeted his brothers, and after the greetings, they left for home.
On the way home, there was some small talk with Aunt Irina thanking Alex for helping her sons join his group, and Alex shrugging it off, saying that it was their talent and determination that secured them their position.
They went home, and after the introductions, Alex's mother took aunt to the guest room while Alex took the boys to the guest room on the upper floor and left them to get comfortable.
After some time, Alex was back with the boys, sharing as planned that they would leave for the guild house after dinner, and they continued to have a casual conversation, which quickly turned to them talking about the matters of the Ancient World.
After an hour, they went down for dinner and saw a sight that made all three of them smile, as Sophia was seated next to Aunt Irina, telling her about her school life, and it was visible how both of them were enjoying the moment.
Alex felt a bit emotional seeing them as Sophia was in the hospital on life spot when Aunt Irina met her in his previous life, and seeing them bond this quickly and enjoy each other's company reminded him of what he needed to protect.
At the dinner table, ladies were seated to one side with the boys witting on the other with Alex's father at the head seat like always, and as the table was being filled with steaming hot food, small talk began with Sophie asking Andrei why he was so big and muscular.
Andrei jokingly said, 'Well, Sophie, it's all the Virtual reality game I play all day because, you see, mastering the game requires serious bicep power,' while he fleshed his arm.
Sophie looked toward Alex and then mumbled that it was good that she didn't want to become strong or good in Ancient World, and hearing her made everyone burst into laughter.
Their banter set a lighthearted tone, and soon, the conversation shifted into shared interests, hobbies, and interesting stories of their life.
After the dinner was done, Alex left with the family to drop Aunt Irina at the house that was rented and prepared for them before the boys left for the guild house.
The drive to the guild house was a silent one, as Alex had told days ago that he had a big surprise to show them and had already told them he would show the surprise after they arrived at the mansion, so the thirty-minute drive was spent in grueling anticipation.
----------------
"Boss, You have a hidden batcave?" Andrei said as the lift door opened, and they walked into the training chamber.
"More like an advanced hidden training chamber," Alex said before he gave Zoe the command to give him a strength-testing machine.
"Andrei, Go ahead and punch the pad with all your might, and then I will punch it," Alex said, ignoring his brother's amazement at the AI voice and the floor shifting to give them a punching pad.
"Boss, I am what people call a freak with a genetic condition that make me abnormal, or as doctors call it, super soldier,"
"So don't feel bad when you do poorly against me," Andrei said with a chuckle as he loosened his arm and walked closer to the cushioned pad.
Alex knew that Andrei had a special condition that even doctors failed to fully understand, as the condition made the density of his bones and muscles off the chart, and it was considered the reason he grew to 7.4ft in height and didn't experience any physical side effects.
If it was not for his father's situation and the big family pulling the strings to make his life hard, Andrei would have been a generational athlete who came once in a century.
Andrei wound his arm as he also twisted his back before he clenched his fist and, like a loaded spring, moved and hit the pad, which sent a loud thud echoing through the chamber.
"Not bad. Now it's my turn," Alex said, seeing the number on the transparent screen stopping at 6741 Newtons.
Andrei stepped aside with a big smile on his face, and Alex firmed his feet before the iron pillar. In the next moment, he punched the pad, sending a sound that was much lower than the previous hit, yet both his brothers stood with their eyes wide open in clear confusion.
The number kept increasing like it was in a race and in mere moments surpassed the ten thousand mark, and then twenty, thirty, forty and finally stopping 41620 newtons.
