Chapter 654 Big Revelation
Chapter 654 Big Revelation
?
" ARGHHHHHH COME ON! " Max shouted as he compressed the three runes towards each other with all his might.
He was forcing together the raw, unruly runes of space, time, and gravity into a singular entity, a task that was putting his newly improved body under immediate duress, testing it's resilience and limits.
Thankfully , his now divine body thrummed with power, his heart pounding rhythmically as it matched the surging waves of divine essence within him.
Max armed with decades worth of research knowledge channelled the divine essence, steering it like an artist with a paintbrush, shaping the rough edges of the three runes, forcing them into a unity they were not meant to experience.
The natural state of the runes was to remain separated, to remain independent of each other, and it was this forced convergence that was causing the realm to convulse in rebellion.
Giant spacial ruptures opened and closed around the spot where Max stood, whereas the usually stable lighting in the backdrop of the realm began flickering violently, signalling the irregular passage of time, whereas gravity also shifted irregularly, giving Max a push and a pull in various directions, trying to disrupt his concentration as he focused on the task of unifying the runes.
When he was about 50% done with merging them, he began observing a resistance that felt like a man-made lock.
He saw divine essence patterns within the runes that seemed to purposefully throw the laws of space time and gravity into chaos as if this space was not chaotic by nature, but was designed so by some higher being.
It was at this moment that Max realised the full picture-
The true reality of the chaos realm
That this realm of chaos wasn't merely a disorganised collection of cosmic forces; it was a grand design of a higher being, meant to serve as a cosmic jail wall.
Its purpose was to ensure that no mortal, no matter how advanced in technological prowess, could cross this boundary and see beyond what was allowed.
A land where they could screen those who could pass and deny access to those they did not deem worthy, while effectively not giving up their own identity in the process.
It was a buffer zone, a safeguard against the curiosity of those who dared to venture beyond the observable universe.
It was all just one big game by a bigshot!
But now, Max was attempting to crack this cosmic wall, and the realm was reacting violently to his attempt.
Space and time warped and distorted at an unprecedented pace while gravity fluctuated wildly, creating a cyclone of cosmic defiance against Max's efforts.
Yet, in face of this madness he remained unfazed, pushing forward, pushing against the very fabric of reality believing fully that his understanding that to tame the realm he needed to unify all three runes was the right solution.
As the climax of his attempt neared with him moving past 90% convergence, sweat began to trickle down his brow as he held his breath.
Focusing fully on the single point where the three runes were going to finally converge as one.
" COME ON MAX, ONE LAST PUSH "
Max hyped himself as with his new muscles strained to the very limit, Max managed to converge the three runes to a single point and as a result of his actions the three runes initially collapsed in on themselves as if becoming a black hole before blasting with a blinding burst of light that looked perfectly like how earthly schools depicted the big-bang.
*KABOOM*
The light from the explosion was blinding, making it hard to discern the outcome. Max's breath hitched in his throat as he waited with bated breath.
The entire chaos realm trembled as if acknowledging a new king, but the outcome only became clear once the blinding light began to recede as Max's actions started to bear fruit.
Pockets of space began to stabilise, the raw chaos starting to simmer down, an effect that snowballed further and further. Max was reshaping the realm, altering its very nature. The cosmic wall was cracking, and Max was the hammer delivering the blows.
As far as his eye could see, the space around him began to transform into a flat plain which was starting to compress into a sphere as all matter should under the effects of gravity, while the spatial tears disappeared.
The only thing that seemed to now move at an accelerated speed seemed to be time.
The chaos realm was ageing slowly for an unknown amount of years, yet now all that lost time was being recouped as infront of Max's own eyes he witnessed the birth of a star and a planet at an exaggerated speed.
He watched with satisfaction as a planetary core began to form, a molten centre for this celestial body, pulsating with the divine essence Max had channelled. Around it, layers of rock and mantle started solidifying, becoming a solid crust.
Then mountains sprung forth as if reaching out to the heavens, while valleys deepened, cutting into the crust like intricate carvings.
Water, in all its purity, manifested, filling the lowlands and forming vast bodies of oceans, seas, and rivers. Soon, a faint azure hue began to form around the celestial body, an atmosphere taking shape, held in place by the newly stabilised gravity.
Astonishment gripped him as life began to bloom in an accelerated pace, vegetation bursting forth from the fertile lands, painting the planet in a myriad of greens. Diversity was the nature of this life; from towering trees to humble shrubs, a vast variety of plant life began to take root.
As the transformation continued, the celestial body spun slowly, its rotation creating a cycle of day and night, the illumination sourced from the newly formed star as a small solar system was formed.
With this Max's tier6 promotion was complete, as instead of taming new life he became a god that managed to create life, and the first god to complete the test created by the celestials in over 8000 years.
As he watched the planet created by himself with satisfaction, a primal voice that gave him goosebumps began to thrum in his mind.
" Congratulations player Ravan, you have met the conditions to ascend into the elite ranks of Godhood and become a top player in the universe.
We celestials have evaluated your performance to be perfect since you completed the challenge set up by us in its entirety, becoming the first mortal in a long while to do so.
Here are the choices we have decided as your rewards, but I advise you to listen to all of them carefully and make a sound choice as it will have a direct impact on your future and your destiny- " the voice said as it sent literal chills down Max's spine.
Apparently Kremeth had told him that there was some other form of higher power that gave evaluation rewards in the olden times other than the queen, but Max had no idea who they were.
' The celestials, huh? I guess that means monarch is not the highest form of being in the universe afterall…. ' Max thought as he realised that as a mortal he was a frog in a well.
The tier8 he thought was supreme, turned out to be just another state after all…..
