Chapter 953 The secret of creation and destruction
One of the more important insights of Max's tier8 promotion was the knowledge he gained about creation, destruction and the soul.
Because of the perfect warrior's challenge which spectacularly backfired on him, Max only needed passable understanding of creation and destruction to complete the tier promotion, whereas the rest of the knowledge was promised to be passed down to him should he succeed.
Since Max did indeed succeed, apart from all the other rewards, he was also passed down the knowledge of these topics and within it were some of the most important secrets of the universe.
In its purest form, everything was energy.
Everything was just a conglomeration of oscillating particles and that was pretty much it.
Mana and Divine Essence were basically energy in its purest form and it existed as a formless and intangible force.
The theory of creation said that whenever energy changed its form from mana to any other perceptible forms of energy such as light or sound, or solidified into a physical form possessing kinetic or structural energy, it was said to have undergone ' Creation'.
The theory of creation said that whenever one used mana to create an element or use an attack they were using the power of creation to conjure something from nothing and although difficult, it wasn't just spells that one could create, with enough mastery of creation one could create living organisms and play god.
The birth of species, the crafting of planets, the terraforming of gas giants was all in theory possible with enough mastery of creation, however, if there was one thing that energy could not create it was the soul.
Working on a different non-tangible force called Karma, the soul was impossible to create and impossible to destroy but could be transferred or absorbed.
Finally, destruction was returning a created object back to its most pure and undisturbed form as mana or divine essence.
When a body decomposed, the mana within its cells was released back into the universe freely and the body was said to have undergone 'Destruction'.
In essence it was the same as liberation, however, it was more nuanced and complicated than that.
But while the knowledge about creation, destruction and the soul was boring, what was the most important takeaway from all that knowledge for Max was the correlation between one's soul and their ability to tap into the powers of creation and destruction.
The larger the soul, the more power it wielded over the process of creation and destruction and the smaller it was, the lower its ability was.
While tier 1-7 expanded the soul, tier8 liquified it and tier9 solidified it to prepare it for being able to wield the forces of creation and destruction.
Max knew that if he were to ever defeat the perfect warrior, he needed to be able to master the power of creation and destruction as only by mastering those laws could he have a shot at beating a guy who could not be beat.

( Meanwhile Rudra )
With Max's promotion out of the way, Rudra decided that it was finally time to pay the perfect warrior a visit for his first official challenge.
Rudra understood that the perfect warrior would undoubtedly be eyeing for his seed of chaos, the seed that was a part of his soul and the seed which he coveted for himself.
Win or lose, Rudra could not let the perfect warrior get a hold of his treasure which is why winning and losing aside, Rudra's primary objective was to not let the perfect warrior get his hands on the seed of chaos.
According to Enel and Junfred, if a celestial died in a fight against the perfect warrior it would take them anywhere from 3 days to one month to respawn, but they would respawn on their assigned peak without any loss of abilities, strength or items.
With that assurance in mind, Rudra began ascending the tallest peak at the centre of the celestial realm as once he reached the summit, the perfect warrior stood across him with his hands behind his back and an arrogant smile on his face as his black robes fluttered in the cool breeze.
The sun? Or the luminescent source of light that signalled day and night in the celestial realm shined brightly behind him in a distance with nothing but blue skies all around as Rudra could not help but acknowledge that this was indeed a serene fighting field.
The appearance of the perfect warrior seemed to have changed a little since the last time Rudra saw him as he looked a little shorter having a height of about 6 feet two inches and short blonde hair.
" You look different-" Rudra noted as the perfect warrior spread his arms and said " I change my appearance according to my opponent. [ Shapeshift ] it's a tier4 skill of the Vixen race, but if used correctly it can help you fight any opponent.
If you're too big, you're too big of a target, if you're too small, you can't reach your opponents vitals without making extra movements.
Me? I like to assume an appearance that gives me the maximum advantage in combat and against your 6'4 this form is the best" the perfect warrior noted as Rudra could not help but grit his teeth.
He knew that the bastard was called the ' Perfect' warrior but he never expected him to be this methodical.
" What next? You stand there and teach me about all the skills I should have learnt, but did not?
Please-, save it for someone who actually trusts and values your opinion.
Me? I just think you're shitting through your mouth" Rudra said as he tried to rile up his opponent, but his taunting words did not even elicit the slightest reaction from the perfect warrior.
" [ Peace Of Mind ] a unique skill originating on planet #H2039 in a monastery.
It negates the effects of any taunts or emotional fluctuations to maintain a rational mind for fighting.
You were the master of the universal queen, but never bothered to learn such an important move?
Disappointing…" The perfect warrior said in a tone that conveyed genuine pity for Rudra as it was the guildmaster who felt his stomach rolling at the insult.
