Chapter 561 - Arrival Of Gods
Chapter 561 - Arrival Of Gods
Then can we use souls of mortals and gods?"
An eerie silence slipped through the throats of Tyr and Idun, while Freya seemed more hesitant to agree or disagree. She touched her chin and shot the one-handed god a questioning glance. "That's a no, right?"
Tyr was a bit pale, but I waited, resting my palm against my chin; the silence only grew to test my patience. I did not have any souls on me, but this would be quite a curious manner. There was only one thing I knew capable of destroying the core of a soul, and that was the Flames of Hellfire.
Cores were indestructible, at least to my knowledge within this dimension, but I should be able to do so if I use the Flames Hellfire as a proxy to sacrifice a soul. How much is the immortal soul of a man genuinely worth?
"It's impossible," Idun said, but I took her words to be a lie. She cared too much of the lives of man, something that would benefit my kingdom, but not now.
Catching the subtle glance shared between Tyr and Idun, I held my tongue as Tyr commented, "I can concur. The Soul Core is the problem. No God, no matter their power, can destroy one. It makes sense to say it is—"
"That's quite enough," I retorted, rising from my throne. If my theory was false, I could still give the Ego and the Will of a soul. "Freya, we are heading to Midgard. Are you ready?"
"I am, Master. All of my most valuable items lie within my soul space. That also includes Godstone's, that carries divinity within them." She said as I recalled that deal she made with Soloman, who was in hiding.
"What are their uses?"
"While there is no way to boost your divinity through it, it could be used as a sacrifice or even top grade material to forge weapons. Depending on what type of divinity was used to forge them." Freya relayed without batting an eye.
"Good. Idun, I will be back in a few days, or maybe tonight. Alos is currently facing night, so I may return for Mimir when dawn comes. I leave my kingdom in your hands, have my people stop killing each other. If they are dead, there will be no one to worship me."
Stretching out my palm, the radiance of this new Freya jump in joy. Leaping into my embrace, I wryly smiled as I saw the fiendish glaring of Tyr and the brooding look of Idun.
Holding Freya tightly, Tang Feng's shard appeared within my hand as I vanished, racing through the spiral tunnel that connected two points in space; I landed once more in a place I had not visited a little more than a year ago.
I had Richters fiancee after that fateful day. I had already got what I needed from her and more. Shame once every family receives a recording of my porno, Larisa's and her house reputation will be destroyed, and so will any chance of Angels ever working with Sulton behind the Celestrial house back.
"Where are we?" Said Freya as I felt a monstrous divine sense spread over the manner. Shaking my heart, I wondered what realm Freya was. She did never say, and I didn't ask. A little foolish of me, but I loved the thrill.
Glancing down at the demoness holding me tightly, I flicked her nose. Tearing up, I chuckled at her cute expression, "You're now my knight; dangers are everywhere, so do be careful."
Pulling away, Freya soluted like a proud warrior, "Yes, Sir!"
Watching her in between her cleavage bounce, I gulped and took a peek at the bed. Clearing my throat, I knew this was not the best of times and withdrew from the guest room; Only to narrow my eyes at this lifeless estate. Steering towards the stairs and down.
Only to race back up the stairs, I looked inside and sighed in relief at Azeroth still in slumber. I know he is all-powerful, but him sleeping while angels are all around the city is worrying, even for me.
"You're going in circles," Freya accused, crossing her arms.
"Sorry, let's go." I softly said, leaving my estate; I glanced up at the dark skies, no longer filled with endless ash. Having regained its original beauty, I stood still and bewildered at the endless hordes of ships and arks clouding the skies like clouds.
"You should be careful," Freya carefully cautioned. "I see a lot of high-level lesser gods and quite a bit of mid gods."
Enjoying the winter breeze touching my flesh, I could not be happier. I enjoyed the cold; it was cooling, distant and ethereal. A little fitting since my surname is Snow.
The skies were clear of clouds was snowing, bringing with a bliss very few could grasp. Taking hold of Freya's hand, a web of darkness wrapped around us as I moved through the shadows of Casia, instantly appearing within the Castle belonging to Yu Lan.
Seeing she was without a guest, I smiled, without sound or notice; I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Sup!"
Leaping like a frightened cat, Yu Lan pulled out an azure blade that resembled a combination of a Rapier and a longsword. Brandishing her sword, a vicious flash of sword light charged my way as Freya pulled ahead of me almost instantly. Slapping the deadly gush of sword qi away like nothing, Yu Lans sword force tore through the walls of her throne room.
Severing anything in half that had the misfortune appearing in its path, I whistled, "Damn, you are a monster. You trying to kill your future husband?'
"What the hell! Don't scare me like that!" Yu Lan bellowed angrily, stomping her feet down.
Blame spread through her eyes as she dismissed her blade in a sea of embers. Crossing her arms, Yu Lan pursed her lips, "You're a real bastard, you know that? How could you ghost Yura like so? After I helped her so much?"
"Ghost her? I was on Midgard training. She should have known that." I carefully mentioned, tilting my head with growing confusion. "We are also tethered, and I did not block it where I was. Yu Lan, what the hell is going on? Ships seemed to rule the skies, and I assume that's illegal, right? Now all the Chosen in my estate is gone, including my dragon."
Yu Lan frowned and eyed me solemnly, "They all joined the Holy Swords. I haven't heard much since."
