Chapter 783 Zax - Lord Alvorian
Chapter 783 Zax - Lord Alvorian
Amazing. I'd seen it before, but each time I witness the power of a forsaken, I slowly begin to understand why Lord Mephistopheles had them banished and sealed.
The Snow's bloodline made it so nothing could harm them while giving them an ultimate killing tool that ignores defense. I remember when Lord Alvorian attempted to battle against Lord Mephistopheles.
It wasn't much of a fight despite carrying all seven bloodlines; Lord Mephistopheles made quick work of him, but it was clear that my Lord had to get serious and use an Almighty Attack to break through Lord Alvorians defenses.
Maybe if Alvorian had been older and had been more experienced, he might have stood a chance against the Fallen and Arch-Angels, but he was captured and presented to his Majesty. That day when he returned, his expression was crestfallen, and his hair a snowy white—the same as Lord Zariel and Arsene Snow.
While they called themselves Snow, it was a well-kept secret between the fallen and arch-angels who theorized their true surname was Alvorian. From their looks and mannerisms, they could both be the incarnation of that bastard.
I wonder if Lady Lilith has figured out where they were banished. Lord Mephistopheles always said he would like to challenge a fully realized Forsaken, but due to the war, he was unable.
Starring at the mirrored lens, hovering a meter off the ground, I stared at Arsene, whose technique had begun to deteriorate alongside his cognition. It was a sight to behold, funny as hell at first, but the more I watched, the more I began to feel this chill rippling down my spine. Like someone teasingly passing a blade against my heart, I felt something new being born.
The Forsaken were a race of irrefutable power, but the other half of him, that Tarnished Monstrosity of Hell, Abyss, and Darkness, was evolving as one of the greatest supports I've ever seen. His main body was slowly becoming invincible, which in turn was making his qi the same. It already had some almighty properties. If this keeps going on, then the era of forsaken may return.
Dancing through the blood with an unmistakable amount of carnage, a river of gore began to litter the streets: intestines hung like decorations, brain matter like confetti, limbs like balloons that would never float. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
Fueled by the souls of the two elder gods, Arsene whipped over the fortress dismantling life till he slowly headed east where four of the seven resided; towards the north was where the other three hid in wait.
Drool slipped from his face as he walked towards what many would think was his death, but I had a feeling Arsene would live. What better way to train my new master than to—
"How is it going, Zax?" A soft regal voice, both sinful and heavenly trickled into my ear, sending my mind spiraling into a resounding hell onto itself; I fell to my knee.
"We got a little off track, but everything is going. according to the plan, your excellency." I informed, " I've made Lord Arsene my enemy to motivate him. Things are progressing just as you planned. Pride truly is the bane of us all."
"Good," The demonic mother rejoiced, " Now, all he needs to do is get rid of Zantar and Balor. Those two have done enough for Mephisto and me. Once they have entered Iluthath, the final stage will be set, and all our hard work will be paid off. Tricking Zantar into using Arsene, giving Arsene's Parents the Ring of Bael, even going far as to push Lilith and Arsene together so that they might meet earlier than later, everything has gone according to plan."
"And the Silver Devil?"
"As long as I don't harm his elder brother, that bastard will not care. He might not be a devil, but he is definitely ruthless like one." She suggested in a fearful undertone.
My head sank even lower as I recalled his rise on Iluthath, and I nodded; after all, everyone had heard of the rumors around him.
"I've spoken to Little Bael; once the Gate to Iluthath is open, we will try to descend; if our Majesty the One stops us, we will send down Avatars. You are to continue to watch Arsene; he is the one with the purest bloodline we'd ever seen; if there were ever someone to lead us to where the Forsaken resides, it would be him."
"By your command, my Queen," I said, and I could feel her smile; I could feel her anticipation that lingered on my skin. Lilith was excited.
But was it truly worth it? Just to find a place to belong? Forget it, Zax; it's not your place to question your queen. One must simply follow her orders, however crazed they might be.
? Shifting my attention back to Arsene, who continued his rampage, progressively losing himself to the trial of souls, I stared with indifference as Arsene progressively began to slaughter. Watched as he tore through old and young alike without reason, formations began to blare to life, congealing with Heavenly might as they became armed, casting pillars of the elements upon him.
Eruptions capable of killing High Gods seem to explode one after another, not at the four who were still trying to break through the easten gate, but Arsene, who was slaughtering innocent men and women. Painting his skin with blood and smoke, Arsene bellowed a lonely roar, shattering the formations that clung to the skies, uprooting the buildings off the ground with his mighty voice; his scarlet eyes burned with not the light of the hells but something greater.
Feral as they come, the beast called Arsene flashed not like a bolt of lightning but like an apparition. Blinking across the battlefield waging war and death, hundreds of thousands of soldiers began to charge.
But before Arsene, many of these soldiers turned into a mist of blood as they approached, leaving only a few alive. Destitute had seemed like the only thing to govern this fortress, as Arsene wasted no time slaughtering the lone survivors begging for mercy.
Tearing out their flesh with his jaw, he howled as though he were a wolf.
"Show me you're primal nature, my Lord. I eagerly await your rule. A shame you will never appreciate all I have done. But it must be like so."
