Chapter 2245 - Copper Mountain
Buzz!
The formation buzzed again as it stopped sucking the forge energies, and its shine began to increase till it became completely blinding.
Seconds passed, but the blinding light did not lessen; it did not lessen even after a minute. Five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes; I thought it would last even more when at the nineteenth minute, the blinding shine began to lessen.
Gasp!
It took less than thirty seconds for the shine to disappear and what revealed itself was so amazing that I couldn't help gasp in shock.
In front of me are the mountain and not a normal mountain but a mountain that seemed to be made of ancient copper that had created a coppery hollow around it. Through the mouth of the copper mountain, a blood-red magma could be seen sliding down.
The forge mountain of the second level is about 60% bigger than the first level and even more majestic.
I am more excited to see what had changed inside it; last time I saw shocked, I hoped this time it would give me a shock, and with that throught, I went inside.
The first thing I saw when I went inside was space; it had become even more massive. Now, it is more than twice bigger than before and has coppery walls just like the surface of the mountain.
Just like before, my phantom is lying in the center of the forge. No change has occurred in it; it is still huge as before and crystal clear, without a single purity that I could see every part of it.
The furnace is bigger than before, with a small kindle of red-coppery flames burning inside it.
The beings of the ones that do real work are also present. Their numbers remained the same, but changes have occurred in them; they have become even prominent, wearing the black forge suits with runes carved them.
They looked very real and from the mythical races that Ive only read about in the books, while about some, I have no freaking idea.
I took the whole forge in my eyes before I took a huge amount of resources and dumped it all in the furnace.
These huge amounts of resources were all damaged resources, but these resources still contain an immense amount of herbal energies in them, and that is what is needed for the art.
The unique specific resources are only needed to create the forge; to practice, there is no specification, as long as they have a high amount of herbal energies.
Aside from destroyed herbs, there are also failed alchemical products, which I have gotten from the alchemist at a poor dirt rate. Why should I use the precious resources when I could easily make do with these damaged ones.
Dhum!
The small kindle of bright red-copper flame in the furnace instantly transformed into the burgeoning fire, which began to spread into the whole forge as dead runes lit up in the red-coppery light.
The runes across the golems of forge lit up, and so are their eyes which made me feel like they were alive for a moment.
With the runes lightning up, theys moved toward the weapon rack in perfect order and picked up the hammers of the black iron, which are crafted in all styles and sizes.
As they picked up the hammers, the runes on the hammers too lit up in red-copper light and made these golems feel more complete.
TING Ting ting!
All of them appeared around and above the phantom of mine before the forging began. Each strike of their begin to release a coppery ripple which spread across my clear phantom in with melodic sound.
The strangest thing about this practice is that I am not feeling any excruciating pain that I was expecting.
Forget the pain; I am feeling good, and a different type of warm feeling arose around me. These warm feelings are extremely comforting that I unconsciously laid down from the sitting position like I would do if I were in the hot spring.
As more and more hammers struck across my body, I could feel the changes happening in me.
If the first layer purifies and consolidates the strength one already has, then the second layer brings out the hidden strength and refines it.
Unlike the other arts, forge mountain art does not bring foreign strength to the one. It uses what one already has; due to this reason, many people would discard this art, even if they could practice it.
This means this art does not provide a fixed amount of strength. The strength it will give totally depends upon the host, which could be lower than other arts or higher.
Many factors are responsible for the strength this art gives. First, the base of the host is most important, more than level. The stronger the base is, the bigger advancement one will get from this art.
The level is the most important factor. If I practice this art in the Master class rather than the current Leader class, then the advancements I will get would be much more than what I would gain right now.
There are others factors, too, like talent and constitution, and thankfully, I am good at both of them.
These facts are one of the reasons why I am able to practice this art at a low level. Though, the rule-bending power and strangeness of my core played a big part in it. Seeing how the forge couldn't be created outside, I don't think anyone in my world other than me could practice it.
Still, even if I could practice all the arts in the archive, I would not choose the other arts over the forge mountain.
It is best for me; it is giving me things that I need as a fighter and a healer. The first and most important is the unblemished internal energy which is not being tainted by any foreign element.
The resources and forge energy which bring out and refine the internal energy did not taint it with their element, which is the biggest thing I want from my art.
