Chapter 2256 - Charmel I
"Here are the gems; they should be able last you for the three weeks," I said as I had handed her the nine pink gems, charged to the brim.
I had already given her a formation and the resources required for the daily practice and had also ordered the crafting of new gems, which I will get within a week. With them, a teacher would always have a rule-bending power to practice.
"The resources you are spending on me are more than enough for a Grandmaster to progress continuously," Teacher said as she took the gems from my hands.
"You are my teacher; it is the least I should be doing for you," I reply, and again a vivid naked figure of Teacher appeared in my mind.
It has been happening more and more for a couple of days, nearly every hour, the naked figure of the teacher would flash in my mind. Especially at the moment, I had saved the teacher from falling when she was getting out of the coffin.
I could still remember how her naked skin felt under my fingers.
I just hope that Charmel city would prove the distraction from these thoughts; they are really beginning to overwhelm me that I am barely able to concentrate on anything other than the thoughts that I shouldn't have.
"Goodbye then, Micheal, don't take too many risks in Charmel city, and if things become difficult, don't hesitate to retreat," she said while giving me a look that said that I should take her words seriously.
"Don't worry, I will not take any big risks," I said. To that, she nodded and silently walked toward the formation before disappearing.
I will be leaving in a few hours, after dinner, which is only a few hours away. These few hours I planned to spend with my family as I don't know when I will be returning; it might take a long time before I come back to my pyramid.
The hours passed quickly, and soon my time of leaving had come. Thankfully my sister had cried herself to sleep hearing I am going to leave again, so there won't be any crying anymore.
A few minutes later, my father and I stood in front of a huge teleportation gate that would take me to Charmel city.
"Take care of yourself," My father said as the teleportation gate had activated, "You too," I said back to him and gave him a hug before I walked into the teleportation gate toward my first command.
"Micheal Zaar? I thought they were sending another Grandmaster to replace me," Said the old man in front of me in surprise. I am surprised too, as I had not throught the commander of Charmel city forces would be the one to greet me, a Grandmaster.
"Nice to meet you again, Grandmaster St. Germain, and as for your question, I am Grandmaster; I was sent here to take control of Charmel city," I said and released my aura, shocking Grandmaster greatly.
The old man in front of me is Nicolas St. Germain, a Grandmaster class powerhouse who looked to be in his eighties; anyone would consider him having a half leg into the grave, but that view would change when they looked at his eyes.
He may look even older for Grandmaster, but his eyes are sharp as a hawk and are burning with life.
He only looked quite old became he became Grandmaster very late in his life, almost when he was on his deathbed, but with his current strength, living for more than a century, would not be a problem for him.
"With war, I had expected you young ones would advance rapidly but still did not expect a Grandmaster of twenty-two years of age," The old man said with a sigh, and I could only smile at that.
"Show me the order, so we can begin the procedure," He said; I nodded and took the silver pyramid badge off my chest. A second later, an official order from the office of Grand Commander appeared, which he scanned with his Pyramid badge.
"You are legit," He said and placed his badge on his chest. "I will tell you a few things before handling you the command." He said, and we walked out of the hall.
As we walked the stairs, Grandmaster St. Germain began to inform me about everything. He started from our forces and moved to the Grimms and the battles he had. The more I listened, the more serious my expressions would become.
I have already got all the information about Charmel city, and most of the things Grandmaster is informing are the same, but there are some things that are not written in those reports, and now being told by the Grandmaster is worrying me.
Soon, we reached the big window, and I couldn't help but stop by it and look at the scenery outside, which is absolutely stunning.
There I saw rows of the mountain, there are hundreds of them, and all of them are covered in snow. The scenery is completely white and absolutely beautiful, especially those glaciers at far.
It does not feel like the Grandmaster class battles are being fought in this place every few days. The snowfall covered all the signs under its thick blanket.
"I was too mesmerized by it when I had seen it the first time," The old man said beside me. I looked at beautiful snow for a couple of seconds before we began to walk again as the old man informed me about the things.
In a few minutes, we have reached the command center, and on its door, there was a sigil of a lion covered in the lightning.
The army that is guarding the city is one legion; it is quite small compared to many other legions but no less powerful than the other legions.
The power of the ten thousand emperors is immense, especially when they work in the formation that they have trained for years.
