Chapter 2706: Bone Door

Chapter 2706: Bone Door

Chapter 2706: Bone Door

"How is he being able to fight against such a powerful enemy?" asked Rhea in shock, seeing the mad ape monster with the terrifying aura attacking Micheal, and he is even responding against it, dodging, defending, and even attacking now and then.

When Micheal attacked the ape's eyes, it released that terrifying aura that had froze her on the spot; even Lady Yui had taken steps but stopped when Micheal asked her and now just watching.

Though given the power the ape monster is displaying, she is ready to save Micheal at the moment she notices he is in real danger.

…

ROOOOAR!

It roared again and attacked me as I slashed on its back with the two lances, which by the way, are healing at an incredible rate and would be healed in a couple of seconds.

All the injuries I have given it had been healed, even the first injury in its eye, which made it so mad and started to attack me without reservation.

SUPPP!

It attacked me again with its punch and crushed the air itself. The friction around its fist is so strong that it will melt the metal.

I avoided the attack by inches, but another fist was also coming. The monster is not dumb; it had been learning while fighting against me and knew the only way it could deal against me was lightning-fast attacks, not letting me rest even for a fraction of seconds.

I have also learned a few things, one of which is that with my current power, it is impossible for me to kill it. I do not have sufficiently powerful moves, all the injuries I am giving it are like a scratch to it, and they are healing it at an incredible rate, not lasting enough to create any effect.

My inheritance energy is pretty powerful. If Grimms were hit by it, they would find it very hard to heal those injuries in a short time.

This bastard, on the hand, has no problem; it is filled with so much vitality that it would crush anything that would come in between the healing, even my incredible inheritance energy.

'I guessed it is time to finish the battle,' I said after I continued fighting for half an hour; in this half an hour, the strength of this bastard had not even decreased a bit, and from what I could see, it could continue fighting at such for more than a day.

I do not have a day; I do not have even an hour, I have already gained what I could from this ape, and now, it is time to finish it.

I saw its punch coming toward me, and this time, I did not move; Grandmaster Yui had called out to me, but I told her to relax.

"Stop!" I said to ape when its punch came into my personal rage, and it stopped when it was just inches away from touching me. The victory in the ape's eyes turned into deep confusion, rage, and helplessness before the horror.

It could not move, no matter how much strength it used; it was completely frozen.

"You have taught me a lot, so I will give you the quick death," I said to the ape, and it seemed to understand what I had some way as it constricted and let out a final struggle through which it was able to move slightly before suddenly all the life in its eyes disappeared.

It had died without letting out a single sound; I had killed it from inside; it was a painless death.

As it did, its body disappeared into my storage; I had no interest in eating this monster, but I needed it for research.

Since I have come to this ruin, I have researched the monsters of this place. The pyramid had said in its memory that the monsters of this ruin are unedible and even dangerous due to the high dosage of the luminescent energy present in them.

I do not think so; I think they could be eaten, and their meat will be extremly helpful. I just need to find a way to safely consume myself, and I have been making some progress; I hope I will finish it before I leave this place.

"Wow, I do not think you will be able to kill this dangerous monster, but you did," she said as she appeared beside me with Lady Yui.

"Your strings are incredible, Grandmaster Zaar; I have been looking for them since the beginning of the battle, and even when you have bound the ape, I was never able to sense your strings, much less see them," said Lady Yui.

I smile at that.

If it had been so easy to sense or see my strings, I wouldn't have been able to kill the countless Grimms. These strings are the sole reason why I have been able to kill more than 90% of the Grimms I have fought; without them, they would have run away or just killed me.

Many of them were quite stronger than me, and the only reason I am alive is my strings.

"Now that we have dealt with the monsters, let's move toward the vestige," I said, and immediately, their expressions became serious, and we flew toward where the vestige; the ape is not the only powerful monster; there are some even powerful and they are slowly coming toward this place.

A few minutes later, we appeared at the entrance of the abode, near the bone door, which is more than ten meters long.

I have seen it in photos and through the memories that my seed had recorded, but seeing this majestic thing with my own eyes is a completely different feeling.

"Lady Yui, are you sensing it?" I asked when I looked at the shock that appeared on her face. "The residual fluctuations; this ruin will be extremly dangerous," she said. While most people, even at Lady Yui's level, find it hard to sense it, only those with some special abilities have the capability of that.

The hosts of bloodlines had a great edge in this area when compared to the hosts of inheritances.

"Little Rhea, I would suggest you stay here; inside, it is going to be extremly dangerous," said Lady Yui. To that, Rhea immediately shook her head. "I am coming inside; I could feel this place has something which is going to help me a lot," she said.

It is clear she is unwilling, and we could not do anything else unless, of course, we are willing to be forceful.

"Since it is your wish, I will not say anything else," she said before turning back toward the bone door.

The bone door is above ten meters long and made of bones. Unlike a normal door, it is weaved door made from long and thin bones; on these bones is a mysterious scrip, which is what that is letting out a residual law fluctuation.

Whatever the law is, it is related to bones; it is not directly attacking me but still standing within its range; I feel like it wants to melt my bones, and if it had a common tyrant or below, their bones would have melted within a second.
