Chapter 2906 Two Bloodlines
Chapter 2906 Two Bloodlines
"So, what happened?" I asked finally after a few minutes. I could look inside her; I could still feel my seed, which for some reason, weakened a lot.
It is quite unusual; the seed was powerful, hidden inside her very constitution, not to mention a powerful that even during Grandmaster's breakthrough, it would have remained unharmed, but it could not through the change that had occurred in her.
"I was attacked by the Grimm when I went to the academy," she said softly, and immediately my body shook. "I have told you not to go there; the Grimms were waiting for every moment to attack the people close to me, and they did," I said to her, barely able to control my emotions.
She at me and, seeing the look in my eyes, her eyes went down.
"It was an emergency," she said softly, "No matter what the emergency was, you should have dealt with it from the safety of the pyramid," I said.
"I am sorry," she apologized, and seeing those wonderful eyes, all the fury in my heart disappeared.
"Still, you should not have been hurt; the pyramid should have protected you better," I said, again feeling angry at the pyramid. I have specifically asked them to protect my family and marina, and they have failed.
If they hadn't, then marina wouldn't be in this state.
"The council had sent Lord Emil; if not for him, the Grimms would have killed me rather than left grievously injured and poisoned," she replied.
I had not expected her to be attacked by a Grand Lord; if they had, she wouldn't have been standing here; not to mention, it is very hard for Grand Lords to infiltrate our territory. The pyramid has three sensory spheres around our territory, and the academy is at the edge of the first, the strongest sphere.
Not to mention, there are Grand Lords who keep an eye on every movement of the enemy Grand Lords.
"It must be a very powerful Grimm to attack you, even with Lord Emil protecting you?" I asked; I know the man; he is one of the quasi-Grand Lords and is powerful enough to take a couple of blows from the Grand Lord.
"Its Hasd of Golden Fire Tribe; you have fought with it," she replied, and immediately an image of young Golden Fire Werewolf came to mind, the host of the most powerful offensive Grand Art, the same that old werewolf has.
"I will kill that bastard," I swore and turned to Marina, "A poison wouldn't have turned you to this; it is clearly a work of Bloodline," I said. I have not looked inside nor used my soul sense, but I dealt with bloodlines enough to know the kind of effect they could have.
It is clearly due to the Bloodline, and it had done a clear number on her, much bigger than what his bloodline had done on him. I don't think even I will be able to do anything to these effects; they had clearly transformed her to cellular and soul level, that even hiding them like Rai wouldn't be possible.
"Bloodlines," she corrected, shocking the hell out of me.
"The Grimm had not only grievously injured me, but also left a very dangerous poison; something that began to burn my life force, even the seed you have left me wasn't able to stop the burn,"
"I barely had a few seconds to live, so Grandmistress Charline fed me the chaotic miracle fruit as the last option to save me," she said, and immediately, a miracle fruit came to my mind.
One of the most precious treasures of Grandmistress Charline has; it was given to her by one of her patients a long time ago.
I had seemed the miracle and even performed a few experiments on it; I still have data on it. A chaotic bloodline fruit, divided in purple and green, as the two bloodlines fight over its dominance on it. If someone had not plucked it before it was ripe, then one bloodline would have eventually won; it would have become bloodline fruit.
The chaotic miracle fruits, or the unripe fruits as they are called, are extremely dangerous; the energy inside them is too chaotic to digest, especially the bloodline-type chaotic miracle fruits.
Over 90% of people who consume them die, but people still do when they have no options left.
There are many records of people surviving fatal conditions by eating a bloodline fruit, ripe or otherwise. Still, it is a huge risk, and Grandmistress Charline wouldn't have taken it if there were any other options.
"So, you are telling me there are now two bloodlines inside you?" I asked, and to that, she nodded. "And they are stable?" I asked, and again, I got a nod of affirmation.
Her affirmation had blown away my understanding because it is near-impossible for two bloodlines to exist at the same time, especially when they came from the bloodline fruit.
The bloodlines are extremely territorial; they do not bear any other bloodline in their space. If it appears, they will fight to the death to kill it.
Now, in front of me, two bloodlines exist in one body, and despite marina saying it, I am having a hard time believing that.
"You can look yourself; if you are having such a hard time believing me?" she said, seeing my expression. "You are the reason it had happened; if not for what you have done to my body, I don't think I would have been able to survive the clash of the two bloodlines," she added, surprising me.
I opened my mouth to ask the meaning of what she was saying but decided to look at myself.
Soon, a seed came out of me and seeped into her body; it immediately followed the signal and reached the seed, which had barely any energy left, and began to merge with it.
The seed I have left inside Marina is one of the best; I did not hold back on resources on creating it and had filled it with a huge amount of rule-bending power, and now all of it had been spent that it could barely send out a single.
It barely took less than five seconds for the seeds to merge, and immediately, her complete meta-scan appeared in front of me.
The scan is the most detailed meta-scan I have seen; it had been made from months of data collected from the Marina, and it had compiled it all in a single most detailed meta-scan.
Gasp!
A gasp of shock couldn't help but come out of my mouth; marina had said that two bloodlines existed inside her peacefully, but those words were too simple for what I saw inside her.
If what I am seeing right, the marina is the luckiest person in the world because what I am seeing, she should have been hair breath away from collapsing into a puddle of flesh and blood, but now her cells have perfectly merged with the two bloodlines.
I took a sigh of relief, seeing she was not in danger; it was the first thing I had looked for, and now that I had confirmed it, I could look at other things inside her.
