Chapter 2927 Cursed Leaves
Chapter 2927 Cursed Leaves
It reached a hundred meters ahead of me, and I focused on it from the old snake; my expression turned serious, and the power of all three bursts began to flow through my veins.
"Die, Zaar!"
It screamed as it appeared in front of me and screamed loudly as it brought down its Warhammer at me and received a big surprise when it saw my great sword appearing in my hand and I swinging toward it.
CLANNNG!
Our weapons clashed, creating a shockwave powerful enough that it destroyed the clouds above and the forest down; within a second, the hale disappeared, and the moonlight shone on us.
'Fuck, its powerful!' I cursed inside me as I took a step back while stopping myself from vomiting, as it looked at me with shock.
I had thought with me consuming the Wood Horn Goatman and getting that huge green boost, I might be able to fight against it head-on, but I forgot the bastard is the physical type, which is always hard for me to deal with.
"How can you be this strong?" it asked in shock, "I was always strong; I was only using you to test the strength of my shields," I replied mockingly.
"You have only countered a single attack and already talking; tell than to me when you have done a few thousand," it said and attacked at even greater power.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNG
Its hammer came down at me, and I have countered again, but it was just the beginning of the storm of attacks that began to come at me one after another, shaking me to my internals.
The attacks of the bastard seemed stronger than before; the blackish-blue curse fire covering it, also stronger than the last time, seemed to be especially potent against my energy.
Though, it had been crushed and swallowed the same as other curse energies that came at me.
It is physical aspect of the attack that is giving me stress, injuring me with every attack. I had circulated the healing energies inside me while, at the same time, my clones were making live changes in my armor to better deal with its mighty attacks.
The clash of attacks is bringing great destruction around me. The clouds vanished; I could not see them, and so was the forest; they were destroyed, and the more we fought, the more destruction followed.
While I am fighting, I have never let go of my eyes from the old snake; it is still standing in its place with a light smile hanging on its face. It is giving me a very bad feeling, but there is nothing I can do; I could try to attack it, but it will not do much.
My current strength of mine is not enough to do anything; it could easily counter them or dodge; its defensive methods are best among the Grimms.
The rose redemption and also strings are also useless against it, given the number of invisible defenses of various types it had cast around itself.
I would not have been this fearful if it had come to attack me with this giant bastard, but it is staying in one place with that hateful smile on its face, doing something unknown, which is very dangerous for me.
A minute had passed, and we exchanged over a thousand attacks; it was suppressing me, but I wasn't able to do anything other than that; I was able to defend against it with minimal injuries.
CLANNNG!
Once again, our weapons clashed, and I readied myself to face another when it retreated and appeared beside the old snake while I put down my sword.
Clap Clap Clap
"Good, very good, you have once again impressed me, Zaar," said the old snake and clapped with its bone hands.
"Well, it seemed like I have done really good to make a monster like you clap," I said back dryly, but it did not seem to faze; instead smile on its face had become wider.
"You have, and I hope, you will deal with the next attack with the same ease," It said and, once again, placed a hand on its back; all the remaining black-blue fiery curse disappeared, but he did not remove his hands.
"This is a curse I have not used in a century; I wonder how it will fare against you," it said, and a strange dense aura burst out of its body.
"Treant of Vasdaer!" It shouted, and sickly green smoke came out of its hand and enveloped the Anrd before transforming into the treant with sharp blood-red leaves and sickly green bark.
"I hope you survive it; there is one more curse I want to try on you," It said and removed its hand from the Anrd armor, and immediately, it came at me, shaking the space with every step it took.
I am more focused on the threat which is enveloping it; it is a curse and not a normal curse.
Anrd is feeding it its energy, and it is consuming it and sending it to those blood-red leaves, which are getting more realistic every moment and also sharper, and I am sure it is not the only thing it is providing it.
"Die, you bastard!" shouted Andr as it appeared in front of me and swung down its Warhammer, seeing that I also swung my great sword up.
CLANNNG
Its sword clashed against me, and my eyes couldn't help but widen; its attack is powerful as I expected, bearing 20% more physical might, and with it came to a very powerful curse energy, which is what shocked me. The curse is different, and I immediately knew what is different about it the moment thousands of refiners began to break it.
The bastard is very smart.
Puch Puch Puch!
While I was shocked and getting a step back to manage the momentum, I got another surprise, the three most realistic leaves came at me like darts and pierced through my body; my armor was only able to stop them for a fraction of a second before they were able to pierce through me.
The moment they, the eyes of the old snake, lighted up blindingly with greed and hope, but it controlled its emotions before it could see.
Though I caught it.
"So, something could go through that damn armor of yours," said Andr with a laugh and brough down its hammer at me again.
CLANNNG
Once again, its powerful might clashed against my sword, and I defended it, but like before, I couldn't properly defend against it.
Ting Puch Puch…
This time, it was five leaves that came to me; aside from the one which came at my face that I had repelled, the other four had pieces through my body.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG
Which made the smile on its face even bigger, and it came at me with another attack and then another without stopping.
Ting Ting Puch Puch…
With the attack came leaves, and they began through my body, that within a minute, thousands of blood-red leaves pierced through me, painting my whole body red.
The blood could be seen flowing through the wounds, which are healing extremely slowly, and it is not the only thing the cursed leaves are doing.
