Chapter 3929 Three Months

Chapter 3929 Three Months

Chapter 3929  Three Months

Clang Clang Clang!

My ax clashed against the saber of my opponent. He is powerful, but I am winning.

I am attacking him constantly, but it is not just a pure offense like before. I had made small changes to the fighting.

Added a little cautiousness.

I had been doing it slowly, so observers wouldn't find it surprising and even made many mistakes to make it seem natural.

It's the work of over three months; it had sped up in the past two months after the first mission.

These two months had been eventful and frustrating. I had finally sent the information to the organization, but it did not help our cause at all.

I had only shared a fraction with the organization while keeping the most with me.

I would have shared them, but that information wouldn't have helped, despite being shocking. It would have helped Avros to make the case instead.

Bang!

Finally, I was able to hit my opponent hard on his chest with the back of my sword.

The crashed hard on the ground but didn't feel much impact as the formations activated, cushioning him.

"I lost," said the handsome elf. "Barely," I replied as I shook his hand before both of us walked out of the arena.

I was about to turn to watch the other battles when I saw a familiar woman coming toward me.

"I am glad, you are improving your fighting style. It will help you a lot," said Lidris.

"I hope it does; I had nearly lost my life, in the last mission," I replied while pulling the data packet out of her.

"It will," she said.

"How was your mission?" I asked. She had been out for two weeks. "Fine; there was barely any excitement," she replied with a sigh.

Avros has her following the people. Every mission she has is the same, following people around for days and even weeks; it gets kind of boring.

People aren't always excited.

"I am sure, you will find some in the next one," I said with a smile.

I talked to her about a few minutes before she went to spar, while I watched her battle. Twelve minutes later, a person walked in, and I had pulled the seed out of him.

Currently, there are twelve seeded in total.

From Sovereigns to Sky Sovereigns. I could have seeded more people, but those bastards are being careful.

Still, I am thinking about taking the risks and seeding the Peak Sky Sovereigns.

I had added the seeds into seven Peak Sovereigns, I had come across but removed them after getting the data. It was too risky, but now, it felt like; it was time, I take the risks.

For two months, I have found none.

My clone looked through the data packs and found the same information.

I sighed and walked away.

The data is quite deep, but not enough. It is necessary that I start seeding the Peak Sky Sovereigns and, if possible, experience the process myself.

I have seen what they do, and it is shocking at least.

I have now become even more sure of my theory, but have even less proof than before.

Still, I had made good progress in the three months. Even the organization is impressed.

I was on my way toward my suite when I felt the soul sense covering me and, as usual, I acted like it was nothing special.

Buzz!

A moment later, my badge buzzed with the message. I opened it and my heart leapt with joy, but on my face, there was a confused frown.

I kept looking at it for several seconds, before sending the mail to check for authentication.

A moment later. It came back with the answer I had expected.

One of the seeds had received the similar mail two weeks ago and a day after, he had gone to that place.

I was hoping to get a chance to go there and even thinking about it about a minute ago, but never truly thought I might be able to go there.

Seeing how their soul sense is always spying on me.

Now it seemed like I might get a chance to do that, and it couldn't help, but excite me.

Finally, I might be able to go to that place again.

Click!

Soon, I reached my suite and sat down on the ground. A moment later, the soul method circulated, while I entered my core.

For one day, I would like to lie on the bed comfortably and practice.

I do not need to sit cross-legged to practice the method, but Ranis used to do that.

So, I have to do the same.

A day passed and another came. I walked out of my abode, a little earlier than usual and went to eat lunch. After that, I walked toward the teleportation gate, with a faint curiosity on my face.

I stopped at the gate and flashed my badge, before stepping inside.

Step!

I stepped onto the other side, still in the fortress, but in the area, I hadn't been before.

Though I had seen it a few times through my seeds.

In front of me is an iron door and beside it is a man sitting behind the table. He is a Sky Sovereign, a peak one, but showing the power of initial.

I wanted to put a seed into him, but controlled the urge, knowing who's behind that door.

"You can go in," he said, and I nodded.

The door opened on its own and entered inside. There is a big office, with a crystal-skinned woman sitting at the table.

"Spire Yalma," I greeted, bowing respectfully.

"Ranis Card. You have been a faithful member of the organization. More brute than I liked, but you had proved your loyalty," she said, using about the same words, she had used it against the seeded.

"Thank you for your kind words, spire," I thanked.

"The organization had seen your loyalty and decided to reward you with opportunity, a very few fortunate to get," she said.

A surprise appeared on my face, before the excitement replaced it.

My reaction seemed to please the old woman, as a faint smile appeared on her crystalline lips.
