?

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!

I attacked him with powerful attacks that got stronger with every second.

He bore them even when they injured him. Damaged his internal organs and broke his bones.

He is fighting despite knowing that I am much stronger and there is no defeating him. I like such people, it is why, I am even entertaining him.

If he had been like others, I would have sent him and left him screaming like I am doing with others.

"You can better. Harness more power, but also care for your injuries. If you get too injured, you will not be able to last long in the battle." I said.

A surprise appeared in his eyes.

He is experienced enough, but there is always something more to teach.

I have fought enough desperate battles in my life, that I felt like, I could bestow wisdom, even those of a higher level than me.

He listened and poured more energy into healing his injuries. Because of that, his attacks got a little weaker, but that is a fair trade to last longer in battle.

Healing energy, especially the kind he has not only healed the injuries but also helped in dealing with attacks on internal organs and other important body parts.

I continued with the attacks while he continued to defend.

I am not just fighting against him, but also keeping my eyes on the battle. They are fighting against people, killing some.

Many gave up the moment, they thought the attack would kill them.

They shouldn't have attacked. There is a reason, we all are in the top five.

We are stronger than the rest, much stronger than they are thinking right now.

Here, we are not in competition with them but with each other, and for that, nobody has revealed their true power, including me.

We all want. They all want that top prize, and for it, they are using every trick in the book. It is kind of fun to watch, and I am learning quite a lot about my temporary teammates. They might not have used their power, but they are showing their combat skills. One could gauge quite a lot of them, and I have already asked my clones to create their profile and make a prediction about their strength.

It would help me better deal with them. If we were to fight. We would.

They are the ones who could force me to reveal my full power and I want to, especially after the increases I had got here.

Seconds passed, and the numbers were rapidly reduced.

Some were defeated, some gave up, some ran, and a small number were killed.

I don't like to kill people who do not show any intention of killing me, but I can't stop them from doing that. Even when I don't like it.

I prefer punishing them instead. Creating such a fear, they wouldn't dare to attack me.

Those screaming right now are suffering such, that they would not dare to fight me. If some did again, this pain would seem like a touch of a feather to them.

If they show the killing intent. I will kill them; I am merciful, but not a pushover.

CLANNNG!

Finally, he couldn't defend himself anymore and was sent flying, crashing on through the trees. He had broken tens of them before stopping.

I appeared beside him as he struggled to get up.

"You fought good. If you maintain such an attitude, I don't think you will have a problem gaining the strength I have," I said to him.

Of course, things wouldn't be. It will be extremely difficult, I might say, seeing there is only one level ahead of him, but he needs to achieve that.

"And surpass it?" he asked with a bloodied mouth.

"Well, that would depend upon your efforts," I replied and flew away from him, while he closed his eyes to heal the injuries.

The others are nearly finished with their fight. They could have finished it even before me, but they were holding back their strength.

"Stop holding back and finish the fight," I said, and faint surprise in their eyes, before they sighed.

Three seconds later. There was no one left to fight them.

"Will you keep them screaming?" asked Iarys, looking at those screaming.

"A few more minutes," I replied.

"Listen up. This is just a warning. If you attack me again, I promise you. You will suffer such

pain that you will beg for death," I said and flew along with my team.

"Quite ominous words you spoke," he said. To that, I rolled my eyes.

"By the way, thank you for saving me," he said.

"You didn't need saving. It was just my warning to remind you, how close my attacks could

get without you sensing it," I replied with a big smile.

Barely a flicker appeared on his face, upon hearing those words.

Though, I could tell, the shield had affected him.

"Those are baseless accusations. I had never thought about killing you," he said, and to that, I smiled.

Everyone thought about killing as I thought about killing them. It is natural and I do not mind such things as long as they remain thoughts.

Soon we reached the seventh mark.

It is buried in the ground. So, Hayat was the one who found it, and we moved toward other destination, that appeared on the map.

On the way, we saw many times, but the moment they sensed us, they would move away as far

as possible.

Especially the ones that attacked us.

We didn't care and even stopped using the ground and stealth and simply flew toward the places where the marks were, it saved us a lot of time.

"The last mark," said Iarys as he found it.

Immediately, everyone becomes alert. If anything, were to happen, it would happen now.

Nobody had taken out their weapons and even looked like they were ready. They looked

relaxed, each and everyone, but the moment they sensed the slightest threat.

Their weapons would come out, and they would burst with their full power. "Put on the map then," I said, and he did.
