I woke up at dawn as I was doing in the past few days. Eight days, to be exact.

It's been nine days since I came here, and since then, I have been doing nothing but working at my core and taking a stroll in the city.

Carter and his people left me.

Now and then, I would see a Prime looking toward me, but without using any methods.

The eight days passed calmly, and I did nothing other than two things. I didn't even start practicing the methods that I desperately wanted to do.

If I didn't succeed, I would lose a lot of resources, and it would be painful, but the pain would be nothing in front of the pain of the slow practice.

Dance of Ukasanavor is one of my most important methods, and slime is an integral part of it.

Without its help, I won't be able to practice at the speed I want to.

Three hours passed when, finally, the slime absorbed the first drop of the mix of resources. That immediately dissolved into the watery body and spread around it, coloring light purple.

However, it went paler a moment later. As 90% of it got absorbed by the core.

It sucked another drop a few seconds later and then another, getting faster and faster

till it began to take two drops and, sometime after that, three drops.

The speed increased with time. I watched it all while keeping my eyes on the data flashing in front of me.

"Things at the top are unstable," I said, looking at the data, but I did nothing. I can't do anything; I did what I could, and now it is just wait and watch.

Hours passed, and it kept absorbing resources.

Its color changed from colorless to dark purple it has right now. There is also a metallic shade to it, as most of the resources were metallic.

I have studied hard and researched, but I don't know what the end result would be.

Whether it would succeed or not. If it succeeds, will it do what I wanted, or will it turn into something else?

I don't know, but it's something I have to do. It is the only choice I have.

Another hour passed when the slime stopped absorbing the energies and the resources. It had absorbed quite a lot of them.

I thought it wouldn't absorb more than 70% of them, but it absorbed 96% of them.

It is a good thing. I didn't look at resources and prepared for every circumstance.

Buzz!

Seconds passed, and everything was quiet when suddenly the core buzzed and shone like the sun, with the light spreading through every part of it.

The shine didn't stop me from looking at what was happening, and what I was seeing wasn't giving me a good feeling.

The core begins shaking wildly, and even cracks appear on it.

I so much wanted to use my power to suppress it, but I controlled myself and watched

as the shaking got worse and cracks spread through the entire core.

I thought it would split apart into pieces when the shaking began to slow down, and

the cracks began to heal.

Within a minute, the core had calmed down.

Though not fully. The shakes are akin to vibrations while the cracks have fully healed.

Minutes passed and turned into hours, and there was no change visible, but inside the core, massive changes had occurred.

Around twenty more minutes passed when, finally, the core buzzed, and massive power flooded out of the core, including the thick substance.

The power spreads into the slime and is absorbed by it while the substance begins

forming a shape.

It took a while before everything calmed down.

The breakthrough succeeded, but what appeared in front of me was completely

unexpected.

Seeing it, my expression couldn't help but turn strange.
