Crack. It was the sound of a shattering skull. The Mingyu Celestial Beast seemed to have heard this familiar sound, its eyes feverish. How many Quasi Gods had died at its hands?
In front of the Divine Artifact spear, the skull this creature took pride in wasn’t much different from tofu. Time was the strongest attribute in this world!
The Mingyu Celestial Beast suddenly saw the Quasi God move before it. Is it my imagination? This is the power of time; who can break the Time Territory under this power?
It pushed harder with its right hand, but the platinum spear seemed to have hit something rigid and was unable to go any further.
“Hasn’t your mother ever warned you, beware of male fish with gold teeth?” Fatty Big Sea’s deep voice suddenly rang out.
What? The Mingyu Celestial Beast was blank for a moment. Wait, how can it speak? The Mingyu Celestial Beast snapped awake. It felt goosebumps break out on its back.
This guy... this guy, it had broken through the Time Territory!
Fatty Big Sea swung around fiercely and glared at the Mingyu Celestial Beast. Its mouth was open. Shimmering golden teeth were inside it.
“How dare you stab me? You’re dead meat. I’m going to devour you.”
“Plunging Waterfall Kill.”
A blue pillar of water from far away disrupted Fatty Big Sea’s pompous show, splashing its face. The point of the sharp water pillar wasn’t smooth, but an irregular spiked shape. The spike that had traveled at super-speed let out a shrill noise, very destructive, but this water became gentle the moment it touched Fatty Big Sea’s scales, its damage weakening tenfold. Of course, Fatty Big Sea’s body was totally submerged in the water pillar.
The Mingyu Celestial Beast wanted to continue using Time Pivot, but the moment it activated it, it was knocked out of its condition. It felt dizzy and almost knelt to the ground. Its body couldn’t withstand the powerful pressure at this point. It raised its head and gazed with astonishment at the creature submerged in the water pillar that was only growing more frightening.
With a rumble, dark clouds gathered in the sky. The water pillar became bigger and bigger, then began to flood over its invisible boundaries. Water droplets formed continuously in the air, creating a heavy downpour. Groundwater was also drawn out, flooding the earth, while water from distant rivers felt an invisible pull. It was drawn into the air as if by gravity. The downpour blurred everyone’s sight, crashing waves swallowing the mountains.
The Mingyu Celestial Beast raised its left hand, its stone palm aiming at the blank space, then pressed down.
Boom! Vanity Distortion. An invisible force ripped apart the water, baring the empty river underneath. Gone? It had been there just a moment ago.
Rumble— Huge waves rose from the water in the distance. In the murky waves, a jet-black sea beast tumbled, its tail sweeping to the sky. In its mouth, it held a Quasi God familiar.
The dozens of dense rows of sharp teeth in Fatty Big Sea’s mouth rotated like tiny meat grinders. If it had been any other type of monster, even a Fire-type, Fatty Big Sea wouldn’t have had such an easy time beating it. But since it was a Water-type monster...
Fatty Big Sea could only grin, show its rows of packed teeth, and smile creepily. “But I am the God of the Ocean.”
Squeezing inwards violently, the flesh in its mouth spurted. The wound on Fatty Big Sea’s cheek also healed quickly. Turning around, its eight eyes glared at the Mingyu Celestial Beast with hostility.
The Mingyu Celestial Best looked at the blood running out of this monster’s mouth; it wasn’t stupid enough to think it was this monster’s blood.
Whiz— In a flash, the Mingyu Celestial Beast vanished. The next moment, it appeared 300 miles away. It turned and looked at the swamp behind it but didn’t dare to hesitate. It used anti-gravity on itself and instantly became a rocket that disappeared.
“Big Sea, are you all right?” Gao Peng’s somewhat raspy voice rang in Fatty Big Sea’s mind. He could tell something was off about the fish.
“I’m fine,” Fatty Big Sea answered simply. “We have to leave quickly, otherwise it’ll be troublesome if those people up there come after us.”
The waves before Fatty Big Sea rolled, and it swallowed the Endless Reincarnation Labyrinth in one bite. With a flip, it shot up into the sky and flew into the distance.
Gao Peng didn’t know how long Fatty Big Sea flew. In the sky, its body had returned to the original six-foot-long size. Then, with a splat, it dropped into the river and fell unconscious.
Although Gao Peng was still conscious, Fatty Big Sea’s body was very strange, very unhealthy, and in terrible condition. Moving Fatty Big Sea’s body by force would only worsen it. Breaking out of merging mode, Gao Peng appeared in the bottom of the lake and swallowed a big gulp of water.
A Thistle Snapping Turtle that had seen Fatty Big Sea fall into the river stealthily tried to approach it, but when it saw Gao Peng appear out of nowhere, its eyes widened, its mouth opened like that of a person, and it pulled itself into its shell with a zip.
The Thistle Snapping Turtle behind it that was only half of its size paddled towards Gao Peng excitedly but was lashed at by the big Snapping Turtle that swam in front. The little turtle crashed to the bottom of the river, its head buried in the mud on the river floor.
Gao Peng was a little anxious. He didn’t know if those people would come after them, so he guessed it was better to run farther.
Therefore, he took Fatty Big Sea into the Familiar Space, where everything was static, including Fatty Big Sea’s injuries. He then summoned the Dragon Ant to merge with. The Dragon Ant switched into Stealthy Flight mode and flew southwards for three days and nights. Only then did Gao Peng stop and find an obscure cave to rest in.
He summoned a glittering Silly. Silly hugged Gao Peng’s neck the moment it appeared.
“Gao Peng, Silly was so scared.” The little guy was still shuddering in retrospect. Three super tough guys had been staring at it; it had been scared out of its wits. The wimpy little thing loosened its tentacles after a long while and took out a bottle of juice from its Space with a tremble, but it couldn’t open the cap.
“Don’t be scared, Big Sea fought them off,” Gao Peng said with a smile.
“I’m not scared!” Silly retorted stubbornly, but its tentacles that trembled faster than fan blades gave it away.
Silly opened the Space to release the people. Ever since promoting to the Overlord tier, Silly’s Spatial Ability had been able to temporarily store living things. It was temporary because the air in the Space was limited, and there was no sunlight in there. Also, the Space was rather unstable, but they hadn’t had a choice back then.
Fatty Big Sea woke once from its coma and said, “Put me in water,” then fell back asleep. Gao Peng had complicated feelings when he looked at Fatty Big Sea, who was lying in the creek like a bighead carp one would find at the market. Flop.
Goldie came out of nowhere to stand behind Gao Peng. It placed its left hand on Gao Peng’s shoulder and said in a deep and magnetic voice, “Gao Peng, I’m sorry for your loss.”
Fatty Big Sea jumped off of its back, glared its beady little eyes at Goldie, and yelled, “What the heck do you mean you’re sorry? I’m not dead!” Then it laid back in the creek with another flop. You couldn’t really tell whether it was dead or alive...
Goldie wore a blank expression. It rubbed its bald head and smiled heartily. “Then you should’ve told us.”
Fatty Big Sea didn’t move in the creek and certainly didn’t respond to the stupid duck.
Looking at Fatty Big Sea’s dead fish impression, Goldie’s smile disappeared. “Gao Peng, once I break through to Quasi God, let me go against that guy. I’m gonna beat it to a pulp!”
