Arthur snorted, interrupting her words. “Do you truly think of us as stupid?” Arthur asked as he took a step towards Teresa.

It was as if the world around Teresa narrowed. “It seems that you have truly underestimated the Beaumont Family.” Arthur clicked his tongue. “Do not worry. Daniel will never know the truth and | do not intend to reveal it to him. You are right. He is my son and he will forever think that way. However... | believe you have no right to utter those words in front of me again.”
Just like most families, the Beaumont Family once had trouble with succession.
Once the Beaumont Family had two sons.
