Chapter 328 Special Invitation
Chapter 328 Special Invitation
From the health centre, Shi Wenqian took a long ride towards the outskirts of the City.
The car only pulled over in front of the familiar vicinity where her underground works were carried out.
As usual, there was someone waiting outside for her, who led her into the incomplete building.
Today, there was no match. Shi Wenqian had only come to see the progress of their extraction process.
"There is an incoming order. As soon as I get the details and forward them to you, you all should get to work and only contact me when the package is ready." She instructed in a low voice while staring calmly at the rugged looking man in front of her.
"Yes, Ma'am." The man replied in a slightly hoarse voice as he offered a small bow.
"Good." Satisfied, Shi Wenqian continued in her steps towards the theatre to see what was going on.
? By the time she finished and went back to the Zhang Mansion, it was already late, and she didn't mind.
Even while walking into the house and meeting Zhang Renshu along the hallway, she walked past him without offering him the simplest greeting.
In return, Zhang Renshu snubbed her and found a way toward his bedroom.
He didn't even bother to ask for the reason she was returning home by that time. He didn't want to concern himself without her business because she just didn't care.

After Mr. Fang was informed of Zhang Liling's presence, he gave approval for her to be sent directly into his office.
On getting there, Zhang Liling met Bolin coming out from his office and greeted him.
With a look of surprise, Bolin acknowledged her presence. "Miss Zhang, you're here?"
"Yes. I came to drop something off with your Boss," Zhang Liling said as a smile graced her lips.
In one simple movement, Bolin's gaze moved from her face to the boxes in her hands before moving back to her face.
"I'm also on my way to Mr. Fang's office. I will lead you there." He had only taken one step ahead when he remembered something and turned to glance at her. "Do you need help with the boxes?"
"No, I'm fine." Zhang Liling replied, ready to follow after him.
Bolin nodded and led the way to Mr. Fang's office in long strides.
Fang Bingwen was currently sitting on his chair with folded arms on his strong stomach abs, his gaze directed at the entrance, waiting for the little woman who came to see him to step in.
Today, his work desk seemed to be clean as if he didn't have a lot of work to do that day. There were only a few stacks of papers before him and his laptop, opened before him.
Fortunately, he didn't have to exhaust his patience before the person he had been waiting for, stepped in, along with his personal assistant.
Stepping into the room with the two customized invite boxes in her hands, Zhang Liling's gaze immediately found him.
Flashing him a smile, she greeted with a meek tone as she directly made her way to his desk. "Hello, Mr. Fang!"
Adjusting his sitting position such that his back was now relaxing on the backrest, he placed his finger along the side of his cheek and jaw.
"Hello, Ms. Zhang," He greeted in response as his gaze followed her till she settled in one of the chairs before him.
Zhang Liling wasn't surprised that he would really that way, she only flashed him the two sets of white teeth in her mouth before putting the boxes in her hand down, next to her feet, allowing Bolin to first speak with him.
As the two men conversed, her eyes roamed about his office to see how the Architectural guru designed his office, and from what she could see so far, she was impressed.
She now wanted an upgrade in her own office at 'Glint' but she had to forcefully calm her racing heart down.
'Liling, calm down. You haven't gotten to this level," She thought to comfort herself.
She had to remind herself of who her boyfriend was, and the level she had reached, while at the same time comparing them together.
At least after her mind was done wandering about toward that side, she hot temper, calmed down.
"Okay, Sir. " Bolin said to Fang Bingwen before picking up the stack of files before him and walking away.
After his personal assistant had disappeared from his sight, Fang Bingwen took off the reading glasses over his eyes, and adjusted his sitting position to a more comfortable state.
Fixing his gaze on the little woman who had been waiting for his full attention, he asked in a lazy tone, "Ms. Zhang, what can I do for you?"
Hearing that, Zhang Liling chuckled to herself. "Hahaha..."
"I brought something for you." Saying that, she glanced at the boxes beside her feet and picked up the one on top of the other.
On the large box there was a log and a few words written on the cover.
There was a logo from her brand, 'Glint' at the centre of the box and right below it, Fang Bingwen's name was boldly written on it with a golden colour ink.
'Mr. Fang'
"Here..." Zhang Liling said lifting the box to his sight as she got to her feet, before placing it on the empty space she found on his table."
"What is this?" Fang Bingwen asked giving her the side glance before glancing at the box before him.
"I got you a customized box as well. Although we are very familiar with each other, that doesn't mean I will rule you out on the official invitation." Zhang Liling explained with a smile hanging at the corner of her lips.
Her heart fluttered just by watching his surprised reaction, and she couldn't help but to praise herself for doing this.
Normally, she would have just reminded him of her brand and product launch since he already knew the date and has been helping her plan from the side-line, but she wanted to do something different hence, she resorted to this means.
He didn't have to miss out on the packages she was giving out to the other important guests she was expecting to Greece the occasion.
In fact, he deserved something more than that.
"You sent me makeup products?" Fang Bingwen asked in-between laughter.
Sure, he already knew the content of the box as he was not an outsider to her launch plans.
He had no words left for her. What was she expecting him to do with the makeup products she sent to him?
There was no way he would use them, it was a female stuff, and he wasn't an actor or a model.
She really shouldn't have sent them even though he appreciated her thoughtfulness.
"Not just that, there is also a handwritten letter in it." Zhang Liling said with a proud smile, totally ignoring the laughter in his tone and on his face.
He could make fun of her all he wanted. It wasn't going to touch her.
"Hmmm..." Fang Bingwen hummed with raised brows.
His eyes swept last the box before him before shifting to her face.
"Interesting. I will look at it when I get home. Did you just come to give the box to me?" He inquired as he lifted the box from his desk and put it on the floor next to his seat.
"Yes. I thought to send an invitation like this personally. You are unlike the rest of my guests. You are special." Winking her eye at him, she shrugged her shoulder as a glint flashed across her eyes.
She seemed to be in the mood to tease him already, but he was not going to give her that opportunity.
"Who owns the other box sitting next to you?" He probed with a curious gaze.
"For my mum. I had to reserve one for her as she would be attending my brand launch."
Saying that, Joy filled her heart.
She was ready feeling proud of herself on behalf of her mother.
She was happy for the handwork, sleepless night and effort she out into her business, and she couldn't wait for her mother to see how everything turned out to be at last, with her help from Paris.
"When is she coming?"
"In two days."
"What about your Father, you are not going to invite him?"
"I will send one to him a day before the event." Zhang Liling said, flashing him a wicked grin.
Her motto now was shocking people in the least expected way possible, and she was already on it.
"It looks like you don't plan to have him there." Fang Bingwen ascertained from her facial expression after her statement.
Why else would she be inviting him a day to her brand launch?
If she had the intentions and the sincerity in her heart to invite him, she would send him an invite on time, but from the look of things, she had another motive contrary to the acts of a good daughter.
