Chapter 355 Song Alex
Chapter 355 Song Alex
Seeing the face of the man she had unintentionally bumped into, Song Jujing froze at the spot.
Then hearing his voice, she felt her stomach churn as pain emerged in her eyes.
"You..." Her quivering lips uttered as her lashes blinked repeatedly.
She was at a loss for words on seeing the person standing in front of her.
Somehow, she quickly recovered from her pain and without a second thought, she walked past him towards the table she was going to earlier, totally ignoring him.
As for the man standing, he looked surprised that he would get ignored but more to it was the emotion that flashed through Song Jujing's eyes.
It got to him.
Slowly turning around, he allowed his gaze to follow her till she cane to a stop before a table occupied by mostly foreign women.
Then the next moment, the woman that had suddenly made something strike his heart, chuckled while chatting with the women she had gone to meet.
"How fast she can throw Something behind her," He mumbled to himself.
A few seconds later, he shifted his gaze to Zhang Liling who was already sending her father off after Zhang Xiaoling and Tang Enlai left.
A deep sigh escaped from his lungs. As his lashes fluttered, his fingers Clenched tightly before his eyes snapped open the next moment.
Turning around, he walked away, heading quickly toward the door while trying to avoid meeting anyone's gaze, but he was a little too late.
Sometimes what you try to avoid would always be in vain, just like what happened with him.
As he approached the door, the press whose eyes had been darting around looking for any interesting person to interview or cover in their video, caught sight of him.
Immediately, their eyes flew open.
"Who am I seeing?" The male reporters in his late thirties asked his partner who was holding the camera as their gaze followed the man on his heels.
"Is that not Al..."
"Alex. He is most definitely Song Alex. What is he doing here?"
"I thought the Song family cut all ties with Song Jujing, why did he come today?"
"We really have to follow him!" Immediately z the reporter who said this dashed out to chase after Song Alex who had ran away.
Unfortunately it was too late as they didn't find even his shadow outside.
After searching around, and failing to find him, the reporters gave up.
"We realized a little too late of his identity..." One of them said while panting for breath.
"Did any of you get his photo while he was in here?" A female reporter basked while bending with her palms on her knees.
She looked like she was trying to catch her breath.
"No. We can only write an article if we go through our records and find him sitting amongst other guests invited to this event. We could also get a snippet if we check the video."
"Quick! We need to get to work. I refuse to believe that we failed to somehow capture him in an image on the video clips we have," Another one said.
Immediately, they walked back inside as mad adrenaline rushed to their heads.
There was going to be a beautifully written content about Song Alex appearing at his estranged Niece's brand launch party alongside the hot topic of Zhang Liling owning Glint.
These news was going to make the headlines along with the little topics they would be adding little by little.

After sending her father away without getting to hear him talk about his girlfriend, Zhang Liling met Fang Bingwen in the middle of the room.
"Has your dad left?" he inquired with a smile as he took her hand.
"Mmmm... He seems in a hurry to leave."
Taking a good look at her face, he noticed that she didn't look happy or angry about her father rushing out like that and teased her about it.
"What? Are you unhappy that he left?"
"Nope. As long as he dropped an envelope for my brand just like most of the guests, I don't care." Zhang Liling replied with a but if smile on her face.
Money was very important to her at the moment. She needed it so badly to expand her business.
Also, she had spent money to have a successful launch as this so she needed to get it back somehow and thankfully, a good number of her guests bought the full package of her product to help launch them.
This was indeed a good strategy.
Smiling to himself, Mr. Fang said while gazing at her. "My mother and father are about to leave, you should come and greet them."
Saying this, his eyes left her to dart around their surrounding. "Where is your mother?"
Instantly, Zhang Liling was reminded about something and followed him to look around.
"You go ahead, I will get her."
While using her eyes to look for her mother, Zhang Liling was reminded about her relationship with her Fang Bingwen's father and wondered how the look in their eyes would be when they saw each other.
She was curious.
Since her boyfriend's father were in a hurry to leave because of distance and the traffic that might be in the road, she quickened her step.
Thankfully at the end, she found her mother chatting with a few of her friends and quickly apologized to them after interrupting their conversation before stealing her mother away.
Before Song Jujing could inquire where she was pulling her to, she heard her say, "Bingwen's parents came for this Event, and they are about to leave. I'm sure you wouldn't mind sparing some time to greet my future-in-laws.
"Fang Huiqing and Jian Cuifen are here?" A glint of surprise flashed across her eyes as she allowed her to pull her ahead.
She never thought that the two whom she hadn't seen for a long while would attend her daughter's event.
Now hearing that they had indeed come and were about to leave, she had to see them without minding how long they hadn't seen each other.

"Where is Liling?"
Seeing her son return to their side, Jian Cuifen inquired while still looking behind him with a smile.
"She will be here soon." He replied as he slowly shifted his gaze to his father who hadn't even smiled at him since they encountered each other that day.
A few moments later, Zhang Liling found them while walking toward them hand in hand with her mother.
"Jujing?" Jian Cuifen and Fang Huiqing called out in unison with a look of surprise on their faces.
Smiling from ear to ear while pretending that nothing was wrong, Song Jujing stopped in front of them and drew out her right hand for a handshake.
"Do we need a handshake between us now?" Fang Bingwen's mother asked before leaning in to embrace her without warning.
Wasting no time, Song Jujing reciprocated.
"There is nothing bad with a handshake, it all depends on who you want to meet. Hahahaha..."
Withdrawing from her embrace as Fang Huiqing called their attention from the side, they both looked toward him.
"When did you return?"
"A few days ago." Song Jujing replied while giving him her best smile like a well behaved kid.
Slipping his hands inside the front pockets of his pants, Fang Huiqing continued to throw questions at her.
"Were you planning sneak away like other times if we didn't meet here today?"
He had said this as it was already a habit of hers to come into the country and leave without their knowledge.
He tagged her action as sneaking away without visiting them for once.
He didn't want to bring up about her breaking off communication with everyone for more than twenty years.
Hearing the question he posed, Song Jujing denied it.
"I had a different plan this time around." Saying that, she glanced behind her to stare at Fang Bingwen and Zhang Liling who were standing behind her.
"Because of them, I planned to visit home to officially meet you."
Her intentions were clear.
She had intended to visit the Fang family house to officially acknowledge her daughter's relationship with a close family friend it since they came for today's event, she had to show up to their faces.
"We will take your words for it." Jian Cuifen replied with a smile, letting things slide.
Son Jujing chatted a little with them before allowing them to leave. She even took the effort to walk them to the door before returning back inside the hall to finish her chat with her friends.
"Are you tired? Do you want to change out of those heels?" Fang Bingwen inquired as his line of sight caught those long heels on Zhang Liling's feet.
He pitied her as she has been putting them on and walked around to greet and interact with the guests.
Smiling, she said, "Although the event has come to an end, we still have some guests left. I can't embarrass myself before I appear at the front cover of the newspapers for changing my showed while my guests were still around."
Letting out a sigh, she linked arms with him, not minding their public display of affection.
"I have an image to keep as the CEO and founder of Glint."
