Chapter 389 The Need For A Partner
Chapter 389 The Need For A Partner
Immediately Zhang Liling finished speaking with Jia Li, she put a call to Fang Bingwen to spread the good news to him.
"You are doing well. Now, you must come to appease me for letting you get on my ship." Fang Bingwen teased over the phone.
"Of course I will!" Zhang Liling agreed immediately. Even without telling her, she was already going to do that.
In her current state her advice to people would be to meet a life partner that compliments you.
If she had picked a nonsense person, there would be a high chance that she would not know 50% happiness of what she had since being with Fang Bingwen.
This fact was not just because he was wealthy and had connections, but it was because he was very supportive of her, and does everything he can to help her grow and be happy.
He really was the right person for her.
Since coming into her life, he had continued from here her mother stopped.
'I must have saved the planet in my last life to have this gold people surround me.' Zhang Liling thought to herself after she dropped the call with Fang Bingwen.
Letting out a long satisfied breath, she sat on her desk while beaming with smiles.
"Thank you all for being the light in my path."
Zhang Liling was grateful to those that had helped her come this far. They sure did make life easy for her.
With Glint's site almost crashing after Jia Li's promo on her social media pages, some news headlines immediately because interested in Glint after reporting the news.
Using this opportunity, Glint gave everyone placing an order, 10% off if they were to purchase the entire makeup set, plus there would be a free lipstick in the box for every order.
This simple gesture was more than enough to get Glint into a little disadvantage as it garnered more attention.
With so many orders coming in, they needed funds to meet the deadline.
As Glint was a new brand that just launched several days ago, it still didn't have the funds to foot the order coming in in mass.
They would need money to go to the manufacturer to produce more products.
Because this promo put up by Zhang Liling was only going to last for a week, so many orders were coming and they knew for the time being, the products they had put in some stores were all going to be sold out for those who didn't care about it.
At the same time as Glint was already working on the orders to start getting them ready with the products they still had at hand, interested Investors started to show up at their door step.
Those who couldn't come because of their busy schedule, put a call directly to Zhang Liling.
For three days in a roll, Zhang Liling had been receiving calls regarding receiving funds and other offers included partnership.
"Yes. Yes. Thank you."
Sighing as she rejected the 5th request for a partnership for their day, Zhang Liling let out a sigh.
Just as she was about to rest her brain for a bit, she heard a knock on her door and turned her gaze to it.
"Boss, the manufacturing company is asking for at least 50% part-payment before they start production because of the deadline. And as soon as the products are ready, they want the balance before shipping." The admin disclosed.
"We can compromise and pay in 50% for the production to start, but getting the remaining payment before 5 days is what we can't afford. Did you explain the situation to them?" Zhang Liling asked, looking a bit worried.
"Yes, I did, but they remained insistent on the bargain."
A soft sigh escaped Zhang Liling's lips as she covered her face with her palm.
"We need funds." The admin and HR manager suggested.
"You think I don't know? Just go back, we will talk later." Zhang Liling said as she moved her palms away from her face.
"Okay,"
As soon as she was left alone, Zhang Liling sighed repeatedly until she picked up her phone.
'Seems like I have no choice.'
Immediately the call connected, she started, "Mr. Fang, do you have the documents ready to partner with Glint?"
'Oh! She finally needs help.' Fang Bingwen thought. He could have easily teased her with it, but to maintain her pride, he refrained from thinking out loud.
"I can have my lawyer come to you with my offer so you can make additional requests before the agreement is finalized."
"I don't think I have a lot of time. How long will it take?" Zhang Liling inquired.
She had serious orders to make, not to talk of the time she would use to finish packaging the items and then shipping them off to different locations.
She wouldn't want to annoy her new customers by delaying their orders.
"If you want, we can meet to sign the agreement this evening if everything has been finalized. The ball lies in your court."
Fang Bingwen did not have any problems with timing. He could quickly put up something from the draft he had prepared for another partner.
If the contract was to be signed faster, it would be left to her if she didn't have so many things to add to the agreement.
"I would appreciate that. Let's chat over a romantic dinner tonight. Bye, love you. Kisses."
Ending the conversation as quickly as possible, Zhang Liling picked up the landline and phones Glint's HR manager.
"Go ahead and place the order. We can now meet up with the 50% part-payment in 5 days."
Finishing the call, she went straight to another business and that was preparing the cards she would slip into the packages from her customers.
Going into the small warehouse, she went straight to the private desk she usually stayed in to write the personal letters.
Seeing the basket that still had some cards in them, she sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness I used to do this in my free time."
Turning to the staff stationed there, she asked, "How many of it is remaining?"
