Chapter 440 Plan To Cancel The Wedding
Chapter 440 Plan To Cancel The Wedding
Seeing Tungmei right outside the door, Mikayla was scared out of her wits as she was afraid that she must have found out something about her.
While she was embraced by fear, Tungmei was laughing out hard in her mind.
Feigning annoyance, she pushed her out of the way and stepped inside the restroom. "Why are you standing there like a dead fish and blocking my path?!"
While Mikayla was still there frozen in fear, she heard one of the stalls door open. Turning around to glance toward that direction, she was right on time to see the door closing after Tungmei had stepped inside.
Without wasting time, she stepped out of that place and shut the door behind her.
"Oh my goodness!" She exclaimed in fright as she literally staggered away from the restroom area.
Even up to this point, she was still yet to recover from the shock she just got, but that was all. She was no longer afraid and tensed that Tungmei might have found her secret out.
With the way the other party acted around her, she was convinced that she didn't know anything but unknown to her, she had underestimated the limit her thoughts could go.
Letting out a sigh of relief, she touched her emotions up a bit before stepping back into the large working space and fortunately for her, the colleagues that had crowded her desk earlier had already returned to their desks.
Letting out another sigh, she returned to her seat and got ready to start work for the day.
Back at the female restroom, Tungmei was definitely up to something while laughing widely inside her heart.
As soon as she found out that Mikayla was gone after shutting the door, she quickly dialled Zhang Liling's contact.
Luckily after two rings, she answered.
Without waiting for her to speak, she forgo a the formalities and the greeting and went straight to the point that spilling the news to her.
"Liling, Mikayla is pregnant!"
"How did you confirm it?' Zhang Liling asked with an interesting tone.
Since both of them have been suspecting this since two days ago, they only needed a hard evidence to confirm it before they could start to make use of that information.
Now hearing Tungmei's excitement over the phone, she knew that she must have gotten hold of a concrete evidence.
Heating that question, Tungmei who had been ever ready to give the full story, quickly went ahead to speak while keeping her ears on the ground.
Since she was in a public area, she had to be careful to know when someone else would step into the restroom.
Right from the first time she set her eyes on Mikayla that morning when she stepped into the office, Tungmei gave out all of the information, including everything that had transpired with the other colleagues up to the point where Mikayla left the restroom.
Having listened up to this point, Zhang Liling could careless about any hard concrete evidence.
"Since you saw her throwing up with your own eyes, that is enough evidence for me. I think it's time for this wedding to be called off."
"Will you tell your stepmother?" Tungmei probed.
"No, that woman would do the unthinkable. Imagine telling her that kind of information that is like a black ink poured on top of a blank check that was given to her?"
Zhang Liling was not going to let her stepmother take advantage of this situation.
Learning that she had another means, Tungmei got curious. "Then what are you going to do?"
"Easy pissy. I will just let the media get their hands on this information. We just let to make Zhang Mingyu and Mikayla meet again so they could have a few photos to release the wonderful news." Zhang Mingyu revealed.
She was not going to sit tight and watch this kind of information go off the radar just like that. She was going to use to get the Ong family to call off the wedding.
This way, the burden on getting rid of her stepmother would be faster and easier.
"I think I have a few photos of them on my phone. Remember when you first asked me to start keeping my eyes on them, I took a few photos." Tungmei revealed.
There was no need to waste time and their efforts when they already had a good evidence with them.
Remembering about something like that, Zhang Liling immediately agreed with her and asked for the photos to be sent to her.
"Tungmei, I owe you again this time around. Once this matter is settled, let's flex this life." She announced excitedly.
"Of course. But don't forget to keep me posted on this news. See you."
As soon as she ended the conversation, Tungmei stepped out of the stall and went to the sink to wash her hands.
Arranging a few strands of her hair with a smile, she hummed to herself happily.
How happy and expectant she was on what was about to go down soon with that lousy colleague of hers, and also her friend's stepmother.

Getting off the call with Tungmei, Zhang Liling immediately spilled this information with Fang Bingwen.
"It looks like it's time to pay the Zhang family a visit. I have to taunt Shi Wenqian a bit."
Chuckling at her cuteness and revenge tactics, Fang Bingwen asked, "Your period is starting soon right?"
"Yes. Why is that on your mind?" Immediately, Zhang Liling's mood changed as she got more excited.
"Nothing." Refusing to let the cat out of the bag, Fang Bingwen changed the topic. "Your stepmother just left for her site and I have gotten my hands on the live feed."
"Hope you are recording it?" She inquired, literally jumping off her chair.
"That is the very reason I took things this far. I will pick you up after work by 4, get ready."
"Okay, bye handsome." Giving him a few loud kisses, she dropped the call.

Unaware of the antics of betrayal she was going through, Shi Wenqian continued the tour on her site.
Fortunately for Fang Bingwen, there was a wrestling supposed to take place that day, so Shi Wenqian sat to watch the fight to the end, giving secretary Cha to get another part of this evidence into his hands.
As soon as the match was over, Shi Wenqian went to the theatre were an operation was about to take place.
As the patient was the same person that lost the match that she had just finished watching, she was worried about something.
"Are his organs still good?"
She was worried about having a bad market.
Immediately, the doctor handling the body replied, "It looks like one of his kidneys are bad. Actually, it got damaged before the fight, but the other one is still good."
"What a bastard!" Shi Wenqian cursed in anger. "It would have been good if there was a way to check them before dragging them into this arena."
She was so angry on calculating how much she had list because of one bad organ. If only that man was alive, she could have killed him again with her hands.
After venting her anger, she asked for the doctor to show her the freezer.
"Show me the freezer. How many stocks do we have left?"
Hearing her demands, the doctor who happened to be her relative and the same person that used to draw Liling's blood a few years ago, led her into the freezing inner room.
Getting this opportunity, Secretary Cha who has never seen that place, immediately wanted to follow, but the doctor stopped her.
"Two at a time." He stated.
Understanding his intentions, she quickly stole a glance at her mistress to hear what she would say.
Seeing no problem with what he said, Shi Wenqian said to her, "Just stay here. It's not like you would help me to do anything inside. I asked Mousk to do something for me, call him and find out how far he has gotten."
"Yes, Ma'am." Secretary Cha replied with a small bow before turning to leave.
Since she was not allowed into that place, she could only leave to do what she was instructed to do.
Stepping out of the theatre, she picked up her phone to make a call.
After several rings, the call was answered. "Where are you?" She asked immediately.
"The hospital. Ma'am sent me on an errand." The man on the other hand revealed.
Hearing his response, her gaze narrowed as she wondered what task she could have given to him and how come she didn't know about it.
"How far have you gone? She wants to hear the results of your mission."
"What did he say?" Shi Wenqian asked from behind with a deep frown on her face.
Instantly, secretary Cha flinched as fear gripped her heart. Since she was guilty of betrayal, she was bound to overreact.
Normally if anyone was coming from behind, she would be able to hear the footsteps it this time around she was distracted and so failed to hear her Coming.
