Stella lifted her gaze at Jaylene.
She looked gentle with a faint smile on her face, and there was no sign of enmity at all. Instead, there was a trace of subtle mockery in her eyes, revealing some of her true colors.
Stella took the bags and said, “To be honest, I’m not very fond of this bracelet, but since it’s a gift, I can’t just throw it away. That’s why I occasionally wear it. It’s very durable. But it wouldn’t matter much to me even if it broke.”
Jaylene lowered her gaze and smiled. “It’ll be impolite of you to throw away a gift, don’t you think?”
Stella smiled faintly too. “He gave me way too many gifts. I can’t possibly wear every single one. This is a nice bracelet, but I accidentally dropped it in some dirty water previously. It just makes me feel somewhat unlucky whenever I wear it. People always have to move on, right? Sometimes it’s better to let go of the old things to make room for something new.”
Jaylene pressed her lips together. “That might be true, but it’s still a little disrespectful to do that to someone else’s gift. n
Stella kept quiet for a moment before she said, “Ms. Saun, you’re right. It’d be a shame for me to throw this away. You said that this bracelet is very nice, right? Do you… have any intention of buying one? I can give you a good price since we’ve known each other for so long. That way, I won’t be disrespecting someone else’s gift, and you can get what you want.”
Jaylene was caught off guard by Stella’s response.
She stood in place, looking a little dumbfounded.
She could not believe that Stella just offered to sell her the bracelet.
Jaylene looked at Stella’s face, seemingly trying to find out her true intentions. However, there was nothing. Stella’s expression was completely natural and even looked a little eager.
‘Ms. Saun, what do you say? I can give you a fifty percent discount if you want it. Three hundred thousand. Do you prefer PayPal or bank transfer?”

Jaylen looked at Stella from head to toe.
‘The Jewell family can never raise anyone well given their background. It looks like only her appearances bore traces of the Saun family.’ Jaylene thought to herself.
Stella called out to her.
Jaylene recollected herself and responded flatly, “I don’t
really like wearing things that others have worn. If you really don’t want it, you can consider selling it at a jewelry store. They might be interested.”
“Oh,” Stella responded. “Thanks.”
Before Jaylene left, she added, “We’ve been preparing your room recently, and we might buy some new furniture. You can talk to Trevor if you have any specific preferences. I hope that you’re going to like what your future room looks like.”
Stella was taken aback and left speechless for a moment.
After briefly talking about that, Jaylene nodded and left before Stella could say anything in response.
Stella watched her receding back and pursed her lips.
‘Trevor has been Jaylene’s brother for more than twenty years. And then, there’s Wenham and the unfamiliar Saun family.’
In the surveillance room, Marshall furrowed his brows tightly. He was looking at every screen, trying to catch every detail.
The cameras caught Molly speaking to the stripper before he went to the side of the swimming pool.
However, the manager said that the cameras around the pool area malfunctioned last week and have not been repaired yet.
And the footage did not show how the male stripper got into the guest room either. The cameras only managed to capture the moment when the stripper embraced Molly at the door before entering the room.
