Marshall said to Stella, “You’re not sensitive. Anyone would think the same way.”

Sometimes, I find it hard to concentrate, like just now.”

“Did you bring the medicine that Dr. Stone gave you?”

Keegan nodded, took out a small medicine bottle from his pocket, and shook out a pill from it.

Jaylene quickly handed him a cup of water. After Keegan took the pill, he closed his eyes and lay back on the sofa. Then, the look on his face eased up.

As Stella saw what happened, she asked, “What kind of medicine did you give him?”

Stella had thought Keegan was pretending to have a headache because he was worried that helping her would anger Jaylene, so he deliberately avoided that question.

However, she could not help but question her own speculation upon looking at Keegan’s pale complexion.

She figured that Keegan could not possibly be acting, judging from the look on his face. He looked so pale and weak that even a professional actor might not be able to do that.

So, she could not help but express her concern for Keegan.

Jaylene answered, “It was prescribed by Keegan’s attending doctor, which can help him recover his memory. I don’t know the name of this medicine, but it works well for Keegan. His headache will go away immediately after he takes it.”
