Leighton’s eyelid twitched as he ignored Nicole’s absurd accusations. The reporter attempted to extract more information from him. However, Leighton remained tight- lipped, only responding to questions related to the movie. The journalist had no choice but to steer the conversation back to the film.

After a while, the interview concluded. Leighton walked over to Stella, saying, “Hey, let me head to the restroom, and we can grab a meal together later.”

Felicity seized the opportunity to get an autograph and gave him a thumbs-up.

“You did great, Leighton!”

Leighton chuckled and headed to the restroom. Stella and Felicity sat in the lounge, waiting for him.

Shortly after, Nicole entered, handing them each an orange. She winked and said, “We’re at a movie press conference, yet the lead actor is sitting in the audience?”

Stella chuckled and joked, “That’s because I don’t want to be overshadowed by your radiance on stage.”

Nicole laughed, “Well, aren’t you sweet? Why did you quit The Enclosure?”

Stella smiled and replied, “I decided to inherit the family business.”

Nicole was stunned to hear that. “I think you should reconsider; the script is really good,” she sincerely advised her.

At this stage of her career, Nicole had countless opportunities at her fingertips.

However, Stella required a standout film to elevate her visibility as a rising newcomer striving to make her mark in the industry.

Stella shook her head and explained, “I can’t shoot for the time being due to my health. Besides, I’ve invested money into this. It’s only best that you play the role.”

Surprised, Nicole chuckled, “Ah! Forgive me, sponsor.”

Stella laughed, thinking that Nicole was an interesting person.

After Nicole left, a commotion broke out outside. Felicity and Stella exchanged glances and got upto investigate.

In the corridor, a well-dressed woman was pulling Nicole’s hair, cursing, “You shameless slut! How could you seduce your own brother?!”

Nicole’s face turned ugly as she grasped the woman’s wrist, sternly saying, “You lunatic, let go of me!”

Instead of releasing her grip, the woman raised her handbag and swung it at Nicole’s head.

“How dare you bask in glory on stage, pretending to be a decent person?! Do your fans know what kind of person you are in private?”

As the woman spoke, she shouted to those around, “Are you aware that this actress leads a more interesting life offstage than the roles she plays? She seduced her own brother and is also attracted to women! She even took indecent photos for fame. She acts all innocent on the surface, but in reality, she’s just a slut!”

People are drawn to drama, especially when it involves the humiliation of someone’s dignity. The relatively narrow corridor soon became crowded with curious onlookers.

They were there for the show. Not a single person stepped forward to intervene except for Nicole’s assistant.

The woman lost control, repeatedly striking Nicole’s head. As the assistant tried to help, she was shoved to the ground, narrowly avoiding hitting her head on the steps.

Stella frowned, ready to step forward and assist, but Felicity quickly stopped her and said, “Don’t be reckless. Keegan will kill me if something happens to you!”

Rolling up her sleeves, she added, “I’m going to ensure justice is served.”

Before Felicity could reach the scene, Leighton suddenly stepped forward and grabbed the woman’s hand.
