After a brief pause, Stella said angrily, "I dare you to say that again!"

Keegan took her hand and gently pulled her into his embrace. Then he rested his chin on her shoulder

and said in an affectionate tone, "I'm right in front of you, yet you just wouldn't stop asking about

another man's love life. That doesn't sound very appropriate, does it?" "Well, should we talk about our

own love life then?"

Keegan nodded, looking expectant.

Stella stared at him for a long time but found it difficult to speak. After some time, she frowned and

said, "I don't feel like talking about it anymore.

Keegan felt disappointed.

Stella playfully covered his eyes. "Don't give me that cheesy look. It's weird how fast you remembered

everything. Before, if I touched you, you'd back off like a super proper guy." She blushed, admitting, "I

kinda liked that."

Keegan was quiet.

He let go of her hand, creating some space between them. His expression turned cold again.

Stella felt her heart race, thinking, 'This is it.’

Then, she moved closer to Keegan.

Keegan took a step back. "Ms. Hall, please behave yourself."

Stella grinned and playfully grabbed his collar.

Keegan held her hand, looking embarrassed. "You're a lady. How can you be so rough with a man?

Have you no shame?"

Stella teased, pretending to unbutton his shirt. "Shame? My husband lost his memories, and I never

got to have any fun before. Let's enjoy it while it lasts!"

Keegan was taken aback.

His expression darkened as he said, "Aren't you supposed to be an aloof? How could you change the

script halfway through?" Keegan could not accept that Stella was pretending to cheat on him.

Stela leaned on his shoulder and laughed for some time before sitting up. She hooked her arm around

his neck and rubbed her nose against his while caressing his ears. "You don't have to play along with

everything I say.

Have some principles."

Keegan's ear were heated by her touch as he spoke slowly with his gaze lowered, "I'm not going to

play along with just everything." "Hmm?"

Keegan leaned close to her ear and said, "If you wanted something more violent, I'd never say yes."

Stella was taken aback.

"You seem to know a lot," she muttered softly.

Keegan hugged her for a while before calling her softly, "Stella." "Yeah?" she responded gently.

Keegan suddenly felt very at ease "I'm sorry for making you sad and worried."

Stella stroked his back for a while before she said, "Keegan Kane, I won't be afraid of anything as long

as I'm by your side. The only thing I'm scared of is that you'd put me behind and bear everything on

your own. If something really happened to you, how could I ever forgive myself?"

Keegan suddenly let out a chuckle.

Stella let go and glared at him. "I'm being sentimental here. Why are you laughing?"

Keegan pulled her back into his arms and spoke with his eyes filled with affection, "You used to say

that you'd let me die first whenever there's a danger."

Stella was stunned momentarily. "It was obviously a joke. Why would you take it literally?"
