Keegan took a peek from above Stella’s head.

Vermont held and kissed the person who was almost a head shorter than him for some time before finally letting go of her.

Felicity’s face was extremely red. She raised her hand up and slapped Vermont.

Stella knew Felicity very well, and she could tell that Felicity did not use her full strength in that slap. Otherwise, Vermont would be screaming in pain if the slap did not make him bleed.

Vermont turned his face sideways and pressed his tongue against his cheek that Felicity slapped. He looked at Felicity and said mischievously,” I’ve touched your lips too. Are you going to rip it off as well?”

Felicity wiped her lips with her elbow and scolded Vermont with red eyes.” You scum! I treated you like my brother, yet to you, I’m a toy that you can play with just whenever you want?”

“Brother?” Vermont chuckled. “You kept avoiding me like I’m a ghost. Is this how you treat your brother? You asked for my help, but you don’t even want to see me. You’re not that much of a saint yourself, isn’t it?”

Felicity froze and said while gritting her teeth, “When did I treat you like that?”

“You’d run a thousand miles away from me every time I grabbed your arm, and you’d even stick yourself to the wall when we met in the elevator. Do you really think that I’m blind?”

Vermont got angrier as he spoke. The negative emotions that he accumulated peaked when he saw how good she and Corbin looked together earlier.

“You’d be so polite when you need my help, but you’ll treat me worse than a pile of dirt when you don’t. I guess you don’t need me anymore now that you have Corbin, huh? Do you really think Corbin is

interested in you? I’ll tell you what, he’s only here with you because he wants to get in your-“

Felicity used her full strength this time.

The side of Vermont’s face immediately felt numb.

He was fuming. Nobody had ever slapped his face like this since he became an adult. He turned around and was just about to lash out at Felicity. However, he found that tears were already rolling down from her eyes.

Her eyes were huge and so were her tear droplets. They fell from her face like beads from a broken string.

Vermont’s rage immediately went away. Suddenly, he was at a loss as he looked at her tears.

“W-Why are you crying?” A person who was always so good with words had no idea what to do, and he even reached out to catch her tears. “I didn’t even hit you back. Why are you crying when I’m the one who got slapped?”

Felicity kept crying as she pushed him away. “Go away! You scum, rotten egg, stinky cucumber… Why did I avoid you? Can I even spend time with you now? I didn’t have anything to worry about when I played games with you and asked for your help because you were single. But, you have a girlfriend now, and what would your girlfriend think if I keep doing the same thing? What are the others going to say about me? A third party who interferes in your relationship with her? I’m not that shameless, okay?”

Vermont paused. “Who told you that I have a girlfriend?”

Felicity got angrier when she heard that. She stomped on his foot. “What a playboy! Nicole is living in your house, and she even left her bra on your couch! I can’t believe you’re like this!”

Vermont lifted his foot in pain and shook it. “What are you talking about? I have nothing going on with her at all! She came to sleep at my place that day because she got into a fight with her team, and she didn’t want to go to work.”

Obviously, Felicity did not trust him. “It’s just impossible for me to believe that you didn’t do anything to her when she’s already in your house.’

Vermont got so angry that he laughed. ‘What do you think I am? Am I that desperate of a man? I’m not interested in someone like her.”

Felicity put on a ridiculed look on her face. “Why did you date her if you’re not interested in her? Besides, she’s one of the best actresses. Who do you think you are?!”

Vermont was speechless.

The look on his face seemed a little strange. He gritted his teeth and said after a while, “I’ve never dated her!”

“Did you really think that I didn’t read the news back then? You drove a car filled with flowers and confessed to her on the set. You were on the trending page for a few days.”

Vermont kept quiet.

“I only did that because I lost a bet, and she was the one who asked me to send her flowers. I wasn’t dating her.” Vermont paused before he continued, “She did try to seduce me. But, I was not swayed because I’m a man of principles.’

Felicity put on a forceful smile.

Vermont sighed. “I’ve never dated her, but we did have something going on with each other.”
