If it were any other day, Cynthia would have been awake by now. However, she was in a relaxed state, coupled with extreme exhaustion, so she slept soundly.
When they arrived at the door. Joshua used Cynthia’s lingerprint to open it. After charging his shoes, he carried her upstairs. As he did not know which room she slept in, he had to open each one to check. It was not until he opened the second room that he saw Cyn/h personal belongings.

“Go on,” Joshua urged, standing by the floor–to–ceiling window and looking into the right.
“There are hospitalization and treatment records of Ms. Shaw having stomach cancer abroad, but we didn’t find any of her records in Jiverton.” Yoel continued.
Joshua paused for a moment before realizing what Yoel meant. “So you’re saying Jayleen’s terminal illness might be fake?”
“Outpatient records are only kept for two years, and it’s possible that Jayleen had the checkup done a long time ago.” Yoel replied. Intentionally finding an excuse to avoid any potential backlash,
Joshua hung up the phone without saying anything.
