Cynthia glanced at Kendrick, wondering what was going on with him today.

“I need you to ask your ex–husband to delete last night’s surveillance footage. We can’t let such embarrassing evidence exist. What if he keeps it as leverage against me?” Kendrick said in a hushed tone, showing his urgency.
Cynthia was dumbfounded. Soon, she replied with certainty, “He’s not that kind of person.”
“Please help me. If it’s not deleted, I’ll constantly be consumed by thoughts of it, unable to focus on my work” Kendrick expressed his worries as various concerns overwhelmed him
Cynthia stared at him.
