Chapter 390: Who Gave You The Guts?
It was already 10pm that night but the batch of goods had not arrived yet. Lu Beixiao stood by the dock with a cigarette in his mouth while Camel and his men stood behind him and waited.
“Brother Amu, why haven’t the goods arrived yet?” Camel asked anxiously. He was afraid that he would be tricked instead.
Although Pan Ling occupied half of the territory in the group, in terms of strength, He Shan was still in slightly better position. He still had more power.
“Don’t you know brother Wei Sai’s character? When has he ever been punctual? Perhaps, there might not even be any goods tonight,” he said in a deep voice. He smoked slowly and his gaze scanned the dark surface of the sea.
Camel nodded in agreement and continued to wait patiently.
At 10:30, there was finally movement on the sea surface.
“Brother Amu! They’re here!” Lu Beixiao’s lackeys came forward to report. A yacht approached the dock. He threw the cigarette bud away, stepped on it, and extinguished it before walking towards the docks.
Camel immediately followed closely behind. Just as Lu Beixiao was about to reach the riverbank, Camel aimed a gun at his head.
“Brother Amu, I am sorry but sister Pan wants this batch of goods,” he said.
Lu Beixiao stopped in his tracks and Camel gestured to his subordinates to move ahead. Six of his subordinates boarded the yacht and were the first to receive the goods.
“Camel, what do you mean?” he raised his voice and asked.
“Brother Amu, you’re helping He Shan and we’re helping Pan Ling,” Camel said, “I’m sorry, but I might have to send you to hell tonight.”
Bang! Bang! Bang!
As soon as Camel finished speaking, gunshots were heard coming from the yacht. One by one, Camel’s men fell into the water.
While Camel was shocked by what happened, Lu Beixiao had already turned around, raised his leg and kicked the gun away in Camel’s hand.
Lu Beixiao’s men immediately came forward and surrounded Camel.
Camel realized that he had fallen into a trap and was completely shocked by how it could happen.
“You want to snatch He Shan’s goods? Are you tired of living? Camel, you’re the one who’s about to meet the King of Hell tonight,” Lu Beixiao said as he patted Camel’s face and sneered.
It turns out that after receiving Queen’s code, Lu Beixiao was able to contact He Shan secretly and made separate arrangements for the goods to reach the villa.
“Bring all of them back to the mountain!” Lu Beixiao ordered his men.
* * * *
The villa was brightly lit that night.
Pan Ling appeared in the Villa’s Hall under the protection of her subordinates. He Shan narrowed his eyes and looked at her sitting in a wheelchair with a proud smile on her face.
“He Shan, are you still waiting for Ah Mu to bring back the goods? I’m afraid he may not come back at all and that batch of goods should have fallen into my hands by now,” Pan Ling boasted as she knew Ah Mu went to collect her goods with most of her men.
She thought that even if Ah Mu did have ‘heaven-defying’ abilities, it was still impossible for him to fight against ten men by himself.
He Shan smoked his cigar as he gave Pan Ling a sharp glance. “Pan Ling, who gave you such courage to do such a thing.”
“He Shan, don’t you f*cking try to scare me. I am not afraid of your threats,” Pan Ling gritted her teeth as she replied confidently with a domineering voice, “now everyone here belongs to me. I have the goods now and I also have the channels to sell them. The M Group is mine!”
