Chapter 391: You Are Not My Sister
“This…”
Song Rui looked at Wei Yuanfan. His eyebrows were still furrowed. “Dr. Wei, what’s this?”
Song Wenchuan remembered his own name, but he forgot his parents.
Song Jingwan couldn’t accept this. She was so shocked that she forgot to even cry. Her eyes were red as she tugged on Song Wenchuan’s sleeve. “Brother, I’m your sister, Song Jingwan. Have you forgotten me? Think about it carefully…”
“Miss Song,” Wei Yuanfan reminded her. “The patient just woke up. You should calm down a little.”
As soon as his voice fell, Song Wenchuan brushed the girl’s hand off his sleeve. His sharp eyes were filled with judgment as he studied Song Jingwan and Zhou Manli.
His gaze contained no emotion at all.
His lips parted slightly with a sense of coldness.
“You’re not my sister.”
“Brother!”
Song Jingwan felt as though a knife had been stabbed into her heart as it overflowed with jealousy.
“Are you doing this on purpose? Are you blaming me for arguing with you in the car that day? I didn’t want that accident to happen either! I’ve been praying every single day for you to wake up! I know you blame me for not visiting you while you were unconscious, but I had no choice!”
Song Jingwan took a deep breath and tears rolled from her eyes.
“It was Song Yaoyao. She sent someone to watch over your room. Not only did she restrict me from visiting, she wouldn’t even let mom visit you!”
“Yaoyao…?”
Song Wenchuan’s eyes darkened when he heard this name.
“Who’s Yaoyao?” he asked. “I don’t know who that is.”
“She…”
Zhou Manli was shocked. She looked at Song Jingwan and their eyes met. Her eyes were filled with confusion.
So he wasn’t doing it on purpose?
Then…
Song Rui broke out in a cold sweat. “Dr. Wei, what exactly is going on? Why has he suddenly lost his memory? This isn’t right! This can’t happen to my son!”
Song Corporation’s future depended on him.
“Mr. Song, we can’t rush this. Remain patient. We’ll take him to get a CT scan.”
Outside, the corridor fell silent.
20 minutes later…
Wei Yuanfan opened the door and looked at the three people waiting outside. He nodded his head. “Come in.”
Zhou Manli wiped her tears and adjusted her shawl as she walked in.
Inside the Director’s office, the man was wearing a coat on top of his hospital gown and sitting calmly on the chair in front of the desk. He crossed his arms; his gaze was indifferently cold.
It was as though he wasn’t the one who had been examined and he wasn’t the one who had lost his memory.
Wei Yuanfan looked at the report and asked, “Apart from your name, what else do you remember? These people”—he pointed at Song Rui and the others—”you don’t remember any of them? What about Miss Song? Your other sister? You woke up thanks to her. She was the one who spent every day…”
Before he finished speaking, he suddenly remembered what Song Yaoyao had specifically requested from him: she had told him not to reveal anything about his medical skills.
Especially not in front of the Songs.
“Oh?”
Song Wenchuan narrowed his eyes. He leaned back in his chair and tapped lazily on the desk as though he was playing on a piano.
His hands were defined and his fingers were long and slender.
They were pale but good-looking.
“Do I really have sisters?” he raised his eyebrows.
Song Jingwan couldn’t help but complain, “Earlier on, you said I wasn’t your sister. Have you forgotten?”
