Chapter 906: Not Taking It to Heart
He took out one very simple-looking map.
It was a map painted by Xiao Jin.
Before the New Year, Gu Chaoyan asked Xiao Jin to pay a visit to the Feather Mulberry Land, where he was supposed to get a good knowledge of the 15 towns in the Feather Mulberry Land. Xiao Jin directly gathered the information about each town and got a simple-looking map painted, so that the important spots as well as restaurants were all marked.
Although what Xiao Jin did was to get a map of the 15 towns, Sword Three, who kept him company, was inspired. He made a complete map about the Feather Mulberry Land and the Saint Divine Land as well as what he had learned about the places on their way back.
With Sword Three’s map in hand, Zhou Huaijin believed that he had recieved a piece of treasure.
He got professionals from the Shadow Door and made a very complete map about the Saint Divine Land for the Shadow Door, whilst at the same time, he also got people from the Shadow Door to paint the maps of other countries.
What Zhou Huaijin had with him was just the abbreviated version.
The detailed map would be too exaggerated to be used now.
Zhou Huaiyu came up and took a closer look at it.
Zhou Huaijin was wearing a very peaceful look as he pointed at the places on the map. “We can follow this routine.”
“Why not this closest routine?” Zhou Huaiyu was confused.
“The roads in Qinzhou were too bumpy and there are many robbers in the mountains, so we would be delayed if we take that route,” Zhou Huaijin explained.
Zhou Huaiyu nodded. He found his brother very magical – how did he get all of these?
For himself, he only used his memories and experiences to find the way, and sometimes he even turned to passers-by for help, but his Eighth Brother was able to get all of these out from memories and put them on the table – it was way too convenient!
His ideas towards his Eighth Brother were changed again.
“When should we leave?” Zhou Huaiyu asked.
“Let’s see how Chaoyan is doing. When she gets better, we can leave,” Zhou Huaijin said.
Neither Zhou Huaiyu nor Wuhen said anything more.
They went back to have a rest when they were done discussing since they were kind of tired as they got off the boat.
Wuhen went back to his own room, while Zhou Huaiyu, whose room was closer to Zhou Huaijin’s, walked together with Zhou Huaijin. At that time Zhou Huaiyu said to Zhou Huaijin, “Wuhen had some problems with children from noble families in the past, so he doesn’t like people from noble and imperial families. He has promised to keep us company, so please, don’t take what he said to heart.”
Zhou Huaijin nodded. “It is okay.”
Zhou Huaiyu smiled and patted his shoulders, then they went into their own rooms.
At dinner time.
Gu Chaoyan, Sword One and Qing came to the lobby of the hostel before everyone else did. She, who had been sick on the boat, became extremely lively again as she set foot on the land. She did not want to take a rest. She wanted to take a walk outside.
That was why she came downstairs and asked the manager what Tongzhou was like.
Zhou Huaijin saw how she looked when he came downstairs, so he laughed.
Gu Chaoyan said to him, “I am fine now, let’s leave tomorrow morning, we shouldn’t waste too much time.”
