Chapter 306: Ch.305 Plan in Motion

With everything arranged, Su Ming headed upstairs to find Apocalypse. As he pushed open the office door, he saw Apocalypse sitting in someone's seat, rubbing the armrests with his massive hands, eyes closed as if lost in thought.

Under his mask, Su Ming's expression turned into a deadpan stare. Had this guy really been sitting here all night, obsessively caressing the chair's armrests? How hooked was he on this?

Chair: Help! I'm getting worn down!

Su Ming quickly stepped forward, crossing the dark carpet of the office, where a few Blue Glove corpses still lay about. It was clear that Apocalypse had no intention of dealing with the bodies.

"Oh great En Sabah Nur, our divine god."

Apocalypse continued to sit with his eyes closed, seemingly pleased. Though his face remained expressionless, the movement of his hands suggested that he was in a good mood.

"Ah, my child, is there something you wish to discuss with your god?"

"Oh great deity, you have already defeated your strongest foe, and now the world is yours. I believe you should have a monumental palace to serve as your resting place. This palace here is too small."

Apocalypse considered this, finding the idea reasonable. Kang's palace hadn't been anything special; he'd explored it casually the previous day and found nothing remarkable, certainly not the grandeur of the palaces he once knew.

Having defeated Kang once more, he deserved to build a world wonder, a monument to his greatness.

Apocalypse sat up straight, opened his eyes, and began to think.

Su Ming knew that the "architect's spirit" in Apocalypse had rekindled. If any supervillain loved building things, it was definitely Apocalypse.

Just look at Thanos, who made do with a floating chair in the rubble of the universe. He didn't even bother.

"You're right. Then I will level this filthy city and build my empire on its ruins!"

Apocalypse started to stand, ready to unleash his powers. Su Ming hurriedly intervened.

"No, En Sabah Nur. The people of Egypt are yearning for your rule. That is your true homeland."

Apocalypse's eyes returned to normal. Yes, Egypt was his homeland. He might be a mutant, but it was still his birthplace.

Since his loyal follower said that the people there were yearning for the rule of a true god, he needed to answer their call.

"Hmm, you're right. Gather everyone. I'll take you all back to Egypt, back to my land."

Su Ming, having anticipated this, quickly gathered the remaining team. Apocalypse noticed a few members missing, but Su Ming smoothed it over with the excuse that they stayed behind to spread his divine faith in the city.

This was the only way. If Apocalypse suddenly decided to wipe out the city before leaving, it would have been a disaster. Claiming to stay behind to develop his followers was the best way to delay any rash actions.

Apocalypse nodded approvingly at Su Ming. Spreading the faith was a good choice. Humanity needed to know of En Sabah Nur's existence, of a true god.

Then they would submit to him, serve him, and establish a society where mutants reigned supreme—an empire for mutants.

Ordinary humans might not seem significant, but as long as their partners were mutants, their children would have a high chance of being mutants too.

In a hundred or two hundred years, the world would be full of mutants, and by then, Apocalypse would be the greatest ruler of all.

Apocalypse reflected that he had lacked ambition in the past. Why hadn't he considered unifying the world after conquering ancient Egypt? Instead, he wasted time sleeping in a pyramid for centuries.

But it wasn't too late. The Conqueror was gone, and no one could stop him now.

To ensure rapid population growth, every mutant male would need several human female partners. That way, the plan could progress faster.

This kid in the red and black suit seemed enthusiastic enough. He clearly liked women.

Apocalypse secretly decided that Deadpool would be his first "stud" in this new world order, giving him tens of thousands of women to keep him busy 364 days a year, with one day of rest.

It wasn't about looks or age; it was all about breeding. Let's start with a thousand robust women, each over 100 kilograms. Strong mothers would produce strong mutant offspring...

Nearby, Deadpool scratched his rear, feeling an inexplicable chill. He rubbed his arms, sensing that something bad was about to happen.

But Apocalypse, eager to return to Egypt to start building, didn't share his breeding plans with anyone. Instead, he raised a hand, activating his telekinesis, and lifted everyone into the air, breaking through the roof of the chancellery and flying off at high speed.

Several minutes later, the military arrived to find a certain person tied up in the basement. Su Ming had used an elaborate rope technique to bind him securely, leaving him hanging on the wall.

As a master of weapons, it was only natural that he was skilled with all sorts of flexible tools.

However, during the night, a red-and-black figure had wandered the halls, clutching his sore backside, and stumbled upon the basement, discovering the same scene as Su Ming...

"Trash! All of them are trash! That yellow-and-black trash! Letting the red-and-black trash do that to me! Trash!"

It's said that the rescued individual ranted for three days and nights and was never the same again, turning sullen and error-prone in his strategies. It seemed something had snapped in his mind...

But that's a story for another time. Right now, the group was soaring over the Mediterranean Sea.

Apocalypse was eager to return home and had already started envisioning his grand plans, while Su Ming flew behind him, exchanging hand signals with Cable and Deadpool.

Su Ming held up four fingers and pointed behind Apocalypse, indicating they should stick to the plan.

Cable nodded slightly, holding up five fingers and pointing skyward, signaling that he would wait for the right moment to act.

Deadpool, however, made a crude gesture with his hands, mimicking something suggestive, and nodded eagerly at Su Ming and Cable. His masked face carried a sleazy expression.

Su Ming glared at him. Wade hesitated. Wasn't that what they were talking about?

From his perspective, his cousin had suggested using four people to sneak up behind Apocalypse and... "do something unpleasant." And Cable said four wasn't enough, suggesting five and waiting until nightfall to "do something unpleasant."

Yeah, right.

Su Ming slapped his helmet in frustration. He decided to completely ignore this lunatic Wade.

He had brought Deadpool along to keep Apocalypse distracted and unfocused. But this guy was messing with everyone's heads, even their own team members!
