MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 34 How Generous!

Chapter 34 How Generous!

How Generous!

The revelation was surprising to say the least.

Christopher was undoubtedly shocked by what he heard. Depending on his actions, this world could be saved or destroyed. What the hell did such a scenario have to do with him?

"How?" He asked without hesitation and Aisha hesitated slightly before answering.

"The vision wasn't clear, but from what I was able to piece together, some sort of calamity is set to appear with you playing a large part in it. And depending on what you do at that moment, this world can be saved or destroyed." She explained and Christopher fell silent.

As much as he didn't want to admit it, he had a feeling that his existence was going to influence the way at which the world moved. After all, his Dimension required him to put outside things into it for it to grow.

So part of him felt that eventually, he was going to put the entire world into his Dimension.

'Is that what she means?' He thought. After all, if he put the world into his Dimension, that's not entirely different from taking it over and to others, could be seen as him destroying it since he's changing it and reconstructing the whole world based on his actions.

"How did you find me?" He decided to ask.

"Well, one of my abilities allows me to track someone based on their fate. Though… you proved to be much more difficult to track." She admitted and Christopher tilted his head.

"How so?" She hesitated slightly.

"Your fate is… weird." She began.

"As you are right now, I have no problem tracking you through your fate, though it's a little bit more difficult than most due to your strength. But if it was just that, then that wouldn't be the issue." She sighed.

"The problem is that… at random intervals, your fate completely vanishes." At this Christopher was taken aback.

"What do you mean?" He asked again.

"It's Like, you just cease to exist. Usually if one's fate vanishes, then that means they are dead. But here you are. The last time it took an entire week before I was able to find your trail again." It was at this point that Christopher understood what was actually happening.

'I see, whenever I enter my Dimension, my fate that is tied to this world vanishes. Interesting.' He thought.

After a while, he asked.

"Well, now what? You've told me what's gonna happen, so are you guys gonna trap me to make sure I don't make a stupid mistake or something?" Hearing this, the mother and daughter glanced at each other before the Queen spoke up.

"I considered such an option, but your previous display let me know that we couldn't stop you from escaping even if we wanted to." Christopher raised a brow.

"So then what? I don't exactly plan on trying to track whatever the cause of this world ending event is. I'm just gonna keep living my life the way I've been doing so far." Hearing this, Aisha frowned slightly.

"But what if that's the thing that makes what I saw in my vision come to pass?" At this, Christopher shook his head.

"Maybe, but that same logic applies both ways. What if actively looking for the source is what causes me to make such a choice?" His argument made her fall silent. Then the Queen spoke up.

"We'll do nothing except observe you." Her words made her daughter look at her in surprise

"Mother!" However, all she received was a stern glare.

"In the first place, we have no right to tell him what to do and dictate his actions. He isn't obligated to listen to us either. Trying to force him to do something will just be counterproductive and have consequences." Hearing this, Aisha couldn't come up with a good argument and the Queen faced Christopher.

"All I ask of you is to be careful. I will not try and force you to do anything, but if you begin to show any signs of doing something unnecessarily dangerous, I will hunt you myself." Her tone was even, but the warning was clear.

"That is alright." Christopher didn't argue. Such an outcome was probably the best scenario he could ask for. The current him wasn't a match for this woman and so he wanted this situation to end as calmly as possible.

However he wouldn't sit still or start doing what they asked him to do just because of it. So while he didn't want violence, he'd resort to it if he needed to.

Aisha pouted in by the side and Christopher was a little annoyed by her insistence.

"Pardon her." The Queen said with a sigh.

"She means no harm, it's just… if the world is in danger then she believes that the least you can do is help. Especially since whatever is going to happen will be centered around you." When she said it like that, his annoyance subsided a little and he began to understand where she was coming from.

"Fine. I'll let it slide." He looked at the two of them.

"So… do you guys want something?" His question caused the two of them to look at him with surprise.

"Want something?" Aisha tilted her head and Christopher shrugged.

"Well, you guys went through so much effort just to come find me. I doubt this whole flying fortress or whatever is cheap. So… don't you want something in return?" The two were surprised. They hadn't expected Christopher to be so considerate.

"Well, if you insist then we don't mind. But what would you…?!" The Queen's words died in her throat as Christopher brought out something that caused the eyes of the two elves to widen.

It was a sapling, but this sapling was giving off intense waves of life force. Several times more intense than the branches he'd given the three family heads before.

And the dirt this sapling was planted in was almost pure gold in colour and had a faint Aura around it that seeped into the sapling.

"Um, is this okay?" Christopher asked either some hesitation.

Seeing his hesitation, the two of them interpreted it as reluctance to give away such an item.

"No! Well yes it's more than enough! It's just that… this is too much!" Aisha said looking and sounding flustered while the Queen stared at the sapling intensely before shaking her head.

"This is far too valuable. Giving it as a form of compensation is simply too much. I can tell you don't want to part with it, so keep it." She said and Christopher was confused behind his mask.

'I don't want to part with it? I just wasn't sure if I was being too cheap since these saplings are everywhere in my Dimension.' He thought with confusion.

He'd learned that elves were extremely in tune with nature and had something within their territory called the World Tree which was seen as a world level treasure and was the reason why elves were considered to be perfect beings as it's life force made their bodies extremely fit and beautiful, as well as giving them an extremely long lifespan and making them quite close to Mana.

As such, he wasn't sure if his gift was enough which is why he hesitated. He didn't think they'd see it as him being reluctant to part with the sapling because of how valuable it was.

"I mean it, you guys can keep it. It's not really hurting me if I give it to you." He shook his head and pushed the sapling into Aisha's hands making the girl even more shocked and flustered

"You… really mean it?" The Queen was genuinely surprised. Gideon nodded and said seriously.

"I am, it's not much, but I can't just receive information as valuable as what you gave me and not repay you in anyway." The more he spoke, the more astounded the two of them became.

'How… How can someone be this generous?! This sapling… has the capacity to rival the world tree itself! And he's giving it away? Just like that?!' Aisha thought with amazement.

'He truly just wants to repay us for what we told him. There's simply no way he can give away such an item so freely. This boy… he definitely has the character to save the world.' The Queen thought with a sigh.

"In that case, we won't stand on ceremony." The Queen said and decided to take the Sapling.

Christopher nodded with satisfaction, completely unaware that he had just caused quite the misunderstanding between himself and the two beautiful elves.

After talking for a while more, Christopher decided to leave. To his surprise, the Queen had given him a sort of medallion which, according to her, allowed him to come to the Elven Kingdom of Elfaria at any point and he would not be stopped for any reason. Which was quite nice.

Then, he returned to the Adventurers guild to turn in his mission, completely unaware of the consequences his actions would bring forth.

After all, he'd casually given out three branches which had importance enough to draw even the attention of the Emperor.

And there was no way the three Family heads wouldn't tell the Emperor of what happened and of his existence. Along with the fact that he had somehow managed to gain the interest of the Elven Queen, a being that could directly match the Emperor on her own.
