Chapter 137: Dual cultivation technique: Soul and Body harmony!

This time Lucien didn't head back to the academy, he decided to go back to his territory and focus on his cultivation. At this time he had a lot of things to focus on but he decided to build himself first. Returning to his castle, Lucien could feel the energy fluctuations coming from the underground chamber where Rupture is cultivating. Lucien was a bit stunned by the fact that Rupture's power level has risen this much in just a day.

"At this rate a year should be more than enough for it to evolve!" Lucien said with joy.

As long as he has an emperor Tier magic beast by his side unless the leader of the Creed appears personally for him, Lucien has no reason to worry.

"Well… I guess I can't sit still and do anything… I need to meet up with that old freak unless he will abandon me" Lucien laughed bitterly before running up the stairs and heading to his room directly. He sat on his bed and raised his hands creating three purple pills that were created from the souls of the three king tier magic beasts that he murdered.

"Only this much? I expected more from them" Lucien said since he could feel the quality of the soul nourishment pills. They were only slightly better than what he got from the Creed duo he killed in the dungeon.

Without hesitation, Lucien threw the three pills into his mouth but he didn't chew. The pills melted and rolled down its throat, from there it spread all through his body. Remaining in a cross-legged position, Lucien could feel the sweet-bitter taste the pill carried. He could feel his spirit sense rising until it slowly became an entity of his own!

According to Rakuzen, spirit cultivators attain their sea of consciousness when they get to the peak of the warrior realm and most at the mortal realm, yet. His spirit consciousness had already taken a bold step to become a sea of consciousness. Mesmerized by the great feeling of creation, an idea popped up in his head and before Rakuzen could advise against it, Lucien began pouring all his powers into the swirling sea of consciousness!

Both his elemental abilities and his assimilated beasts surged into this new world within him revolving quickly and more violently.

[What have you done child! You dare try to combine the physical and the spiritual? Madness!] Rakuzen growled but Lucien did not listen.

He felt his body rejecting this unholy union but he paid it no heed and focused on the merging for the two powers. Soon he was bleeding from his eyes, nostrils, and ear but he didn't bother to stop.

He watched as the two different energies blended in perfectly and only then did he heave a sigh of relief. He felt the pain subside slowly but he still felt exhausted. His sea of consciousness was formed too early so it was only a silver space with two alters. One represented the soul and the other represented the body and mind.

In this world, Lucien walked toward both alter only to notice lots of strange-looking letters there but he couldn't understand a thing. He felt like whatever is written there is something no one has ever explored and that's why Rakuzen advised against it. The union of body and soul is something that has never been done before and as the first person to achieve this Lucien felt extremely proud.

"While you rejoice, keep it in mind that from now on, I may not be able to be of much assistance to you anymore! You have chosen a foreign pathway which even I know too little of… Consider yourself a pioneer and your growth in life can only be determined by you… There is nothing much I can do now" Rakuzen's voice echoed in his head, causing Lucien to frown.

He didn't think this through but that didn't mean that he regretted his actions. The ability to combine two powers to form a martial technique of his own can be considered outstanding!

"It may not be completely bad… normally a person waits until they get to the spirit realm. Only when they reach a profound realm like that, are they able to combine their magic with their martial technique to create what we call a spirit martial technique… But thanks to this, you have already created your martial technique at such a young age… I believe you have enough time to deeply explore the boundaries of your ability" Rakuzen said calmly and Lucien nodded in agreement.

Lucien wasted no time as he tried to reach the nearest mirror and just as he suspected, his body had changed drastically.

A person's body tends to take drastic or subtle changes when they reach the spirit realm and create their spirit martial technique. Upon reaching the mirror Lucien was stunned. His once silver eyes were pitch black with no hint of life in it! His body seemed hazy and if one should just glance at it casually, they would naturally overlook his existence unless they try to pay attention or he personally tries to make himself known! He looked like a being existing in both the physical and spiritual plane.

"This…" Lucien frowned since he never expected to endure so many drastic changes!

Lucien said in realization, shocking himself.

He stomped his feet on the ground and slowly waved his hands in a circular motion, releasing a powerful mist around him. His legs moved in accordance with his body movement, creating the black and white Chinese symbol of balance.

"I am the absolute!" Lucien muttered to himself but at that moment a bang sound pulled him back to reality.

"Come in!" Lucien answered coldly.

He patiently waited for the door to yank open and then the old man appeared in the room with a grown on his face, leaving Lucien stunned. This I the first time he is seeing the old man worried and annoyed. Upon seeing the new Lucien the old man was stunned and he was taken aback. He never expected to see Lucien in this strange condition.

For some reason, he felt like his mind just wanted to skip Lucien. It felt like he didn't exist but he existed all at once. Apart from the subtle mental war he had to endure, Lucien's changed appearance was enough to startle him as well.

"Why are you here?" Lucien asked calmly without looking at the old man. His eyes were pinned on the constant notifications pouring in from the system. Lucien knew he must have gained some good stuff after his little evolution.

He felt the urge to check it but judging based on the expression on the old man's face, Lucien knew it must be urgent so he put all his little thoughts aside and focused on the man.

"What happened?" He asked coldly.

"Libet empire! They are attacking!" The old man yelled out after hesitation for a while!
