Chapter 27 Rampage!
Chapter 27 Rampage!
?The villagers eyed the giant pig and spat to the ground. "I said . . . Now that you are reduced to nothing but a mortal's pet, we will roast you after killing your master. And then we will sell your mana core!"
They couldn't kill the God before because of its high ATP, so they chained it instead. And since the God refused to help them, they might as well kill it now that it was killable. Then roast it for dinner and preserve its meat for the apocalyptic event that was bound to happen before selling its mana core in towns after.
Its mana core would surely fetch a very high price, enough to restore the village to its former glory!
----
Mana Core? I wondered as I listened to the villagers. It was the second time that I had heard about it.
<Mana Cores of beasts are sought after by everyone. It could be used in forging weapons and equipment. The higher the level of the beast, the higher its ATP boost when made into a weapon/armor>
<And with a God's mana core . . . it would surely be priceless. Once forged, it guaranteed the soul of a God, and the weapon/equipment became an artifact. What's more, it'll acquire a unique set of skills and spells>
I see . . .
"Enough of this useless chatter!" All the villagers took a step forward toward me with their weapons in their hands.
"It's time to kill you and your little pet."
My chin tilted upward. "Kill me? I don't think you can, now that I have the God on my side."
Everyone looked at each other before they doubled over in laughter.
"With that chain on its neck, that God is good as any ordinary boar!"
"A big fat boar!"
A vein popped on Little Piggy's head, smoke rose from its nose, and its squinted eyes blazed red. It was furious, and it felt like an earthquake when it repeatedly pounded its leg on the ground. "Now you've done it! Wait till I'm freed of this chain. I will eat all of you, fly to your village, and destroy it to dust!"
The villagers laughed some more and mocked. "What can you do chained there? You can't even use your skills and spells, much less fly yourself out of here!"
"Oh, but he can," I said, garnering eyes toward me.
With a swiped of my finger on my [Home Screen], Little Piggy disappeared and became a pixel in my [Pet] Menu.
The metallic chains dropped to the ground. The loud clang of heavy metal startled the villagers.
And with a snap of my fingers, Little Piggy reappeared in its gigantic form, unshackled and free.
"Egh?" Little Piggy blinked.
"Egh?" The villagers blinked.
I laughed at their astonished faces before their expression turned to horror when Little Piggy grinned evilly in their direction.
AarRgGhH!
A riot ensued, and the villagers screamed. They stumbled on their feet to get away from us, pushing each other to exit the cave when Little Piggy blocked the entrance with its massive body.
"Ehehehe. And where do you think you all are going? The fun had just started." Little Piggy sinisterly laughed and snorted. "Looks like the table had turned. You've become my dinner tonight."
The villagers' faces turned white and green and white again at the gigantic looming treat. Another cacophony of screams and cries echoed in the forest when the God chomped a villager in half.
Needles to say, it just took a minute before the God wiped every villager in this area.
However, its anger wasn't sated still as the blazing rage in its round eyes intensified.
"Those puny little Halflings dare to chain me for hundred of years?! It's not enough to just kill them all! They will face my wrath for generations and generations to come. Revenge will be mine!"
A gust of wind enveloped the area when the wings from Little Piggy's back started to flap. I shielded my eyes with my hand from the dust and debris that soon followed.
Without wasting any more time and totally forgetting about me, the Piglet rose to the sky and zoomed in the village direction.
Ha . . . it really could fly. I mused to myself.
I was astonished because its tiny wings could really carry its massive weight.
But he totally forgot about me . . . his master.
Can I punish it?
<With Host's current ATP, I doubt if you can even hurt it. Rather, it's you who's going to suffer pain with your meager stats~>
". . ."
It seemed like it didn't consider me as its master. It even attacked me a while ago.
<Because Host relationship level with Little Piggy is so low. But then again, having a God reduced to a mere minion . . . Good luck in taming it, Host~>
I sighed, raffling my fringe.
What good was it if I couldn't order it around?
<At least your safety is guaranteed since your lives are intertwined now>
I wanted to retort because it felt like it didn't care what would happen to me, as evident by how it just left me here on my own. But I decided to shut my mouth. I didn't want to waste anymore saliva and time procrastinating.
I was going to head back to the village when an earthquake rattled the ground, followed by a series of explosions and thick black smoke clouded the sky.
W-what . . . what happened?

Egh?
I was flooded with notifications on my screen that I didn't know which one to open up first.
What's going on?
<It seemed like your minion is already wreaking havoc. Congratulations, Host, your evil minion, just successfully destroyed Euclid Village for you>
". . ."
I honestly didn't expect that.
Without checking my loot, I hurriedly went back to the village. With my AGI, I got there in a matter of fifteen minutes. I was near the cave's exit anyway, and the forest monsters and beasts seemed to all have gone quiet.
Was it because of the rampaging God?
When I was back in Euclid Village, or what was supposed to be the village, what stood before me was nothing but barren, scorched lands and a gigantic Pig that ran havoc everywhere, ramming trees and trampling everything in its path.
What the fuck?!
